Enhanced security team efficiency and proactive threat management with room to improve alert management and cost-efficiency
There are several issues we are facing with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR, including data overload, noise, and false positive alerts. We experience alert fatigue, contextual gaps, integration complexity, and timeliness of intelligence challenges in our environment. Areas that should be improved include noise reduction, prioritization, real-time delivery, and advanced threat coverage. The filtering algorithm should be improved to address these concerns.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"There are many different modules with this solution where vulnerability and inventory management can be carried out. The solution has a good dashboard and offers a lot of insights into your systems."
"It has good visibility, works well, and it is fast."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the real-time visibility into what is happening in your endpoint."
"Its ease of use is valuable. Nothing is left to you."
"The most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is the overall endpoint protection."
"CrowsStrike Falcon Complete is a good solid endpoint protection solution; it has a good engine and is on par in terms of efficacy with SentinelOne, and with Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection."
"The system is valuable as it is a fully managed endpoint protection service designed to stop breaches, detect threats, and respond to incidents effectively."
"It is a stable solution."
"Their threat hunting protocol and process with AI and machine learning are strong, allowing for active and rapid responses."

Cons

"The support is good from CrowdStrike Falcon Complete. We call them and we have a response immediately. They could improve by increasing their knowledge."
"I would improve the Operational Technology environment functionalities."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete could improve by having advanced features, such as SOC, and HDR. There would have been a lot of processes involved."
"This solution is lacking in a recovery feature. If there is a full compromise, this product can't recover the machine, which results in us having to rebuild the entire system."
"Its price and integration into a pre-existing process could be better."
"The licensing is a bit complex."
"Patch management in vulnerabilities needs improvement."
"It has a lot of false positives, which can be an issue, but you can verify these false positives."
"The one area where Expel may not measure up is if a customer requires a managed SIEM as part of their overall solution. There's a gap there, and solutions might require third-party assistance for management."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The average price is approximately $500 per customer."
"We pay $50,000 for the 200 endpoints we have."
"We pay 40,000 euros to use this solution."
"This product is one of the more expensive ones on the market."
"If you are looking from an IT standpoint, you get what you pay for. There is proactive monitoring in addition to the insurance policy. They do that better than others. Would you like it cheaper? Yes, but at what cost?"
"The pricing is a little bit expensive for our region."
"The licensing cost for CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is fair, and I would give it a five out of five. You have to pay per device/user."
"The pricing could be lower."
