Evidence-based reporting helps us to prioritize and solve critical security issues. The new visualization feature demonstrates how an attacker can enter the system, highlighting the potential path that can be exploited and outlining all the steps the attacker could take. With that visibility, we can ensure the perimeter is strong and attackers cannot enter, thus reducing the risk. It has helped us prioritize issues. The visibility into how an attack could happen is valuable. For example, it highlights the system vulnerability and outlines where an attack could propagate. The visualization helps me to prioritize remediation, and if I don't know where to start, I can check to see the score that enables me to prioritize issues. I am using infrastructure-as-code scanning, and it's one of the useful features. In pre-production, it identifies embedded secrets and misconfigurations, including issues with Kubernetes or some privileged containers. This feature allows us to pass the audit and secure IaC code so that it isn't easily exploitable by attackers. We can more proactively work to identify and resolve vulnerabilities by using the dashboard and the alerting system that SentinelOne provides. It helps us with audits and compliance. We can show the compliance in percentage. We can confidently say that our company or infrastructure is very secure. It has improved our security posture by 30% to 35%. It has reduced our false positives by 30%. It has helped teams collaborate better. The security team manages SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security, and when it flags vulnerabilities, they are forwarded to DevOps for remediation. Previously, we needed to identify and report the issues, but there would be lapses in communication. Now, there is a centralized dashboard that anyone can look at and see the open issues and work on them.

Automated investigations have cut incident response time and now improve compliance monitoring

As per my experience with Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks, the UI could be simpler. There are few features which are very hidden, such as those in software bill of materials and compliance policies. Palo Alto Networks could make the UI a bit easier to navigate. Apart from this, all other things are good. Detection and response features are good, and the visibility, especially in the CI/CD pipeline, is also very good. Infrastructure as Code visibility is good. I don't think there is much scope of improvement regarding detection and response. However, they can improve operational efficiency and the UI. I feel that some features which are hidden could be shown on the home page or front page, which would make a significant difference.

Centralized cloud view has improved threat response and simplified compliance reporting

We are using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security for getting complete visibility of all the assets that exist within our cloud, and it helps us identify any sort of misconfigurations or fine-tuning that can be done to better our compliance. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security helps in onboarding all the cloud solutions or cloud providers that we have within our organization into a single dashboard, thereby providing greater visibility of all the assets. Earlier we used to have multiple dashboards to manage the same solution or capability, but with Trend Micro, we are able to get everything in a single pane of glass, benefiting our operations significantly. We are using the playbooks built into Trend Vision One - Cloud Security, which help us take a lot of response actions and bring automation capabilities into play. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has positively impacted our organization by providing a single pane of glass visibility across all the cloud solutions that we have and reducing the number of threats we used to see earlier in the cloud. We are seeing that the number of cloud operations required earlier in terms of threat detection and response, and the time taken to detect a particular threat and take a response action, has considerably improved after onboarding Trend Micro.
