One-click meeting access and seamless integration enhance video conferencing experience
Cisco TelePresence could improve the WebRTC connections, as they are quite slow. The end user experiences delays when using WebRTC, sometimes taking one minute or more to receive a connection. This issue is mainly due to Cisco taking a long time to download and start the WebRTC client on their devices. Ensuring it is embedded in the device could help.

Remote access has cut critical issue resolution time and supports faster production troubleshooting
Perhaps on the UI side of TeamViewer because we are connecting to different remote desktop connections or remote server connections. Whenever we are working on one of the production issues and we open multiple connections, it is very hectic or confusing to jump from one server to another server. Perhaps on the UI side, if they can improve something related to the view sessions or which session is connected to which remote server, that would be helpful. Perhaps something related to the authentication because it should have a proper authentication mechanism. Every developer should not access TeamViewer or the remote desktop by using TeamViewer. We always have a proper authentication or multifactor authentication mechanism in place, so only those on on-call support or P1 support at that time can access the remote server, but not anyone else. I chose nine out of 10 because sometimes we face the session timeout issue. Suppose during the production support, we connect to one of the remote servers, and if it is idle for approximately 10 or 15 minutes, the session timeout happens. We have to follow the same authentication mechanism to connect to the remote server again. During the session timeout, it delays our process or the troubleshooting steps, which is the reason I have given nine out of 10 instead of 10.

Pros

"Superior video and audio experience."
"The SpeakerTrack feature is the most valuable feature."
"PresenterTrack cameras improve the meeting experience."
"The speaker tracker feature in Cisco Telepresence is highly valuable, especially the ability to track multiple participants and change focus during meetings."
"Telepresence's most valuable feature is keeping highly paid employees, such as executives, on the ground instead of wasting time flying around the world. So if you have the right telepresence plan and form, it's not just the video cameras and the systems behind them, it's the way you lay out your meeting room. You can have multiple offices interconnecting in a single meeting, and it looks like everybody's in the same big conference room together because the telepresence yields such a fantastic amount of clarity."
"If at any point we require any support or our team requires any support, we just call into the Cisco support with their call-in number and they are very good."
"Cisco is a leader in video conferencing solutions because they apply the latest technologies to their devices and services, such as artificial intelligence and versatile functionalities."
"TelePresence allows our customers to have a quick meeting while traveling and still be effective. It saves time and money."
"It’s pretty dependable and very easy to use."
"It was worth the investment. You can do file transfers and video calls with it. You can do a lot of copy paste stuff. E.g., if I have a file and want to place it on somebody's machine, I can just copy it off of mine and paste it right on their machine. I don't have to put it in a Dropbox account and have them log into it to pull it off. I can do all that right through TeamViewer. When you're looking at the TeamViewer screen, you think you are working on your own machine."
"TeamViewer Business has positively impacted my organization by giving us the ability to provide clients with a good experience and to fix bugs quickly while accessing their computers."
"The best feature is the remote access and being able to control another person's computer when you're showing them something, or teaching them how to do something during training, or fixing a problem they're having."
"Unattended access with single login."
"It's worth every penny; I would recommend it any time."
"From my perspective, the most important is the login, and in my opinion, the user interface is good."
"Saving users in the interface has helped our workflow and made things easier for our team because we use it every single day, and we would struggle to support our teams effectively without TeamViewer Business; it has made things much easier."

Cons

"The tool is expensive."
"MX800 comes only with one available DVI port. A few more HDMI ports will improve the system's capability."
"I was in touch with one of our clients and they mentioned that they would like to have a holographic video conferencing. It would be great if that feature would be added."
"Cisco TelePresence license is expensive and should be reduced."
"Cisco TelePresence could improve its integration capabilities."
"The calling features can be improved."
"Cisco TelePresence could improve the WebRTC connections, as they are quite slow."
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup a three out of ten, with ten being expensive. It was complex with badges and certificates. Too crazy."
"TeamViewer could improve by adding support for other operating systems, such as Linux and CAKE."
"The voice chat could be better."
"Sometimes we'll have a device in the field, and I'll click on remote control and it says "Can't authenticate." I'll double click in a different part of the TeamViewer interface and it'll say "Can't authenticate." Then I'll do it a third time and it connects. It's possible that it's just bad luck. It's also very possible that it's some bug within TeamViewer..."
"The one area which needs improvement for both the standalone and enterprise versions would be inter-operability between versions."
"One thing I have noticed is that TeamViewer does not work so well when the machine you are trying to connect to remotely is not running the same version as your machine."
"On occasion, when remote connection process can't connect to a machine, the error messages aren't always helpful to tell you why you can't connect, as the message doesn't help troubleshoot whether it is too slow, too much interference, etc. I usually have to run to another computer and figure out what is going on, then restart it. The diagnostics could be improved."
"It should have ability to display notes in the computer list."
"Sometimes it lags."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is expensive, therefore I rate it an eight out of ten."
"Cisco TelePresence license is expensive and should be reduced. There is only a cost for the license and it is annually."
"The price of Cisco Telepresence is high, especially in Brazil. However, the quality of the product justifies the cost."
"We used high definition, 1080p, but again, it required license purchases. For example, with three licenses (TP licenses), each allowing one 1080p screen, if I had six participants, I'd need to lower the resolution to 720p or lower to accommodate more participants. More licenses meant more cost."
"I will rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"We're using the free version. We do not pay any licensing fees."
"We use the free version of TeamViewer."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"I rate pricing a ten on a scale from one to ten, where one is low and ten is high. There are no additional costs attached to the licensing of the solution."
"The solution has a pilot feature that is expensive. The overall price of the solution can be cheaper."
"I used the free version of TeamViewer."
"It does what I need it to do but I think it's expensive. It wasn't easy for me to get approval from the company to get it... It's costing us about $700 a year, per license."
"The price was cheaper than what we were previously paying. At the time that we went with TeamViewer, we were using ShareConnect. The TeamViewer package was about half the cost and able to have a bigger number of users."
