A tool to help manage global payroll that needs to improve the area of customization after its implementation
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a six out of ten. With ADP GlobalView Payroll, if I have to scale up the operations, one of the practical challenges I would like to highlight here is that in the post-implementation phase, if there are any new system enhancements or customization requests, it takes a lot of time to work with ADP to implement such changes. In the present time, every business has to operate in an agile manner, but I think that when it comes to the area revolving around change and control, there is a cost involved in ADP, and it comes as part of ADP's global contract. Most of the time, users may find that the prices quoted are not reasonable to justify the efforts involved from ADP's end. Most of the companies that fall under the category of Fortune 100 use ADP GlobalView Payroll, especially in the APAC region and Europe. The good thing with ADP GlobalView Payroll is that its system can be integrated with any HR system, like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, since the integration is very seamless because many companies use global HR systems.

HR has gained clear analytics for attrition, goals, and appraisals and manages talent efficiently
SAP SuccessFactors has a low error rate. We had many ad hoc reports that we needed to generate, and it was very easy to do so in SAP SuccessFactors. We also created many in-house reports according to our specific requirements with the help of this tool, which was a really big game changer for us. We did not depend on advanced Excel in those cases. We generated a lot of detailed reports whenever we needed them during emergency cases or board meetings. A lot of usefulness and time were saved in those cases. I will also mention that we conducted a comparative study for some recruitment cases. We had a recruitment model where we were looking for a very niche profile. Since the job profile was really different and rare, we had to depend on analytics to understand and shortlist from a large pool of candidates that we already had in our database. Analytics was really helpful in this situation.

Pros

"If someone wants a good payroll system with a good presence in the APAC region and Europe, then without a doubt, ADP GlobalView Payroll falls at the top of the list of best tools."
"ADP is a good solution if you want simple, static systems."
"Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"SAP SuccessFactors is 100 percent reliable and one of the biggest in the market."
"All Learning Management Systems have their strengths and weaknesses, SAP SuccessFactors is a strong option, but organizations should choose based on their specific needs."
"I love SAP, and I like SuccessFactors...I think most users prefer SuccessFactors as they become more comfortable with it."
"It's brought to our organization a big big improvement. We would give it a good rating."
"The solution is a very good product, it is very stable, it has lots of great features and lots of support available from SAP."
"Compared to other on-premise solutions, the first advantage of SAP SuccessFactors is that it is a SaaS-based solution."
"Once we switched to SuccessFactors and started enjoying all of its features, it's really given us an edge and things have been going great."
"Shorter implementation timelines (comparing to on-premise SAP solutions), quicker response on configuration change cycles, modern look and mobile integration possibilities: Everything together makes SuccessFactors LMS a well-recognized and demanded talent solution across different types of organizations."

Cons

"Projects tend to take longer because ADP wants to manage everything."
"With big companies, it takes a long time to run when it comes to the reporting part."
"The portal where employees log in to check their weekly tax statements is called ADP ESS, an area where improvements are needed."
"The integration with Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll needs improvement as the client is still considering on-premises solutions."
"There should be more connectivity with other systems."
"SAP needs to add more power to its built-in analytics capability as part of the product."
"SuccessFactors should consider building their best practices around critical industries to help companies become more differentiated in the markets they operate in."
"Integration between HCM modules can be extended to incorporate all data."
"The stability could be a bit better."
"We encountered stability issues in integration of SuccessFactors with SAP ECC HCM via Dell Boomi middleware; still more standard integrations are expected from customers."
"We have many interruptions and disconnection points into processes, which is why we are looking to another solution. We are not so happy with the system. We believe we have in the market better solution, so we are looking for alternatives but so far the system has been used a lot."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe that ADP GlobalView Payroll is an expensive solution."
"If users consider the license of the solution, then it is an expensive tool."
"I don't want to comment on the license cost, to be honest. It could be about $1,000 approximately per customer. However, it's very flexible in terms of the licensing costs depending on the volume and depending on the deal of installation."
"I think the pricing is a little better than most solutions out there. There are reasonable prices when it comes to some of the modules such as the Payroll module, and for the remaining modules I believe the pricing is fair in comparison to the rest of the market."
"It is not cheap, but it is reasonable."
"We don't utilize even half of the licenses because not everyone uses them. With SAP SuccessFactors, though, we're now conducting all our performance evaluations within the system, so I suppose we're making better use of those licenses. As for SAP for employee services and internal benefits processing, we do have licenses for those but don't utilize them."
"Due to the way in which we purchased SuccessFactors as a module along with other SAP modules, we were able to procure it at a slightly better price than usual. I would rate their pricing 5/5 stars."
"It is not expensive because it is a complete suite with a module-based cost."
"It could be cheaper."
"We are on an annual subscription to use SAP SuccessFactors. The pricing model is something that they could restructure a bit better. If it was based differently on the type of usage it would help."
