"Since the last version, everything has been improved."
"The solution is exceptional for desktop backup."
"The solution was easy to install and to deploy."
"The solution is stable and reliable."
"In our recent experiences, Acronis Cyber Protect proved most valuable during instances of colleagues facing migration challenges due to ransomware impacts. In these situations, where servers and backups were affected, having a backup stored in external drives or other devices within our data centers posed risks. To address this vulnerability, we decided to shift to a cloud backup solution."
"I've reimaged servers and been back up and running in exactly no time with the completely new hardware."
"It is fast and easy for an image-based backup across all platforms."
"The most valuable feature is that you can do a bare-metal restore even with dissimilar hardware."
"The most valuable feature I have found the be the management console it is very easy to use and automation is important. Additionally, overall the solution is easy to use."
"One of my favorite features of the Acronis backup product is the ability to replicate the backups. Backup data can be replicated to a second, third, or even fourth data source."
"The most valuable features are its ease of use, the speed, and its got a reasonable amount of granular control."
"I have found many of the backup options valuable such as logging the event backup and the ability to run an analysis of the backup before you start for problems."
"The product is stable and has good performance. The product is scalable The solution is easy to set up."
"The disaster recovery feature."
"Once you deploy, it's very easy to manage. It took us about an hour to deploy."
"The product has been very reliable from day one. The biggest advantage of the cloud is that you can scale up and down as you go along."
"Because Acronis Backup is an on-premises solution, there is extra overhead. It's harder to manage, and there's no real remote access. You have to physically log in to the machine to manage it. The reporting feature works fine, and you will be able to send out reports. However, that is where it stops. The deployment could be improved and could be through a network chain. If we need to deploy two machines that are not connected to the internet but connected to two different networks, it would be great to have a machine with dual mix that has access to the backup server and to those machines. It would be like a relay that you can install on the machine with a two-mix, and that machine can then connect to your backup server and to the other machines. You should be able to see the other machines on that network and be able to deploy to it and push jobs to it."
"The product needs to have a simple DR process."
"It would be nice if it could support more types of storage: EMC, HPE, Veeam, etc."
"Acronis Backup isn't scalable at all."
"When an error occurs, the information is not always easy to understand and these messages should be made more clear."
"The solution could use a single sign-on integration that can default to the admin dashboard. Right now, it's only username and password. If you had had an additional two-factor authentication, this would be beneficial for me."
"The initial setup was complex. We had to deploy it through an external consultant team."
"If I could create a protected image backup on a computer partition that just would be just for the image backup; and only the program could access it to prevent viruses from getting into it. That would be very, very good."
"What's lacking in Acronis Backup Cloud is a unified dashboard or console that lets you see the backup status of all clients."
"I think the pricing part of the solution is very complicated, making it an area of concern where improvements are required."
"The Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud server could improve by having better performance."
"Acronis may claim it's due to security reasons, but I believe there should be an option to delete specific files from old backups stored on the Acronis Cloud. Currently, there is no such feature, and I strongly feel the need for a deletion option for erroneous backups."
"It would be better if the price of the solution was improved for medium-sized businesses. Moreover, the email security should be improved. We are awaiting new updates on the product."
"The solution could improve by being more user-friendly."
"One of the areas where the product could be improved is its online cloud backup. I do appreciate the way the product is easy to navigate, however, sometimes I have difficulty managing the security permissions on my backups."
"Reporting is not on par. It needs some more information as per customer or partner interest. I hope Acronis is working on it."
