It provides a consolidated platform to manage content for the content editors.
Hosting support is the most valuable feature. Acquia provides a standard for the support and the incident requests. Their knowledge of Drupal as a CMS has enabled us to focus on developing business outcomes rather than focusing on the IT operations. Acquia has provided a resilient hosting infrastructure that allows our people to focus on delivering value to our customers.

For Microsoft Azure improvement, they need to enhance their support system. The first level of support should be improved in terms of quality and response time. They need more technical support at the first level, as there are currently only one or two technical people among five to ten staff members at this level. They should ensure that the first level support is more technical because we normally provide services to technical users ourselves. When an issue arises, it usually escalates to the second or third level. When facing first level support, they may have limited knowledge and only collect screenshots to forward to their seniors. They should ensure that the first level support is aligned with L2 and L3 to better assist us, especially since we mention in the ticket that our issues are related to specific problems and require that sort of support.

Pros

"Acquia has provided a resilient hosting infrastructure that allows our people to focus on delivering value to our customers."
"We are using Microsoft Azure for various databases, file storing, backup, disaster recovery, and it's a very useful service."
"Databricks is really nice because you have the power to process lots of data and you can create queries and provide big analysis for the business using a robust cluster."
"The solution's technical support was very good."
"It is quick and easy to deploy. It is flexible, and we can deploy a resource anytime. We like and prefer the pay-as-you-go model."
"There are a lot of things that we like about it. It is very easy to provision and configure. It is flexible and scalable."
"Power BI has been my experience, and there is no question about that; it comes with an integrated platform now with Fabric coming in, and the level of convenience is extremely high as compared to any other tool, integrating with your data sources and with your current reporting tool."
"The stability is very good. The performance is excellent."
"The product brings a lot of value to our business and customers."

Cons

"The automation tools need to improve."
"The solution could always work to reduce its costs."
"At times, the support is terrible."
"The Azure Billing API could be so much better. It only provides billing metrics for a set duration."
"If you compare it with AWS, it is not very friendly to use."
"It seems to me that Azure is a little less stable than AWS but not so that it makes a difference, given how much time you save doing other stuff like configuring, etc."
"Azure installation is complicated. When we first deployed Azure, it was challenging."
"As compared to AWS, Azure can improve its functionality. In terms of the feature list, it is still lacking a bit as compared to AWS."
"Quite an expensive solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"I believe that we have a three-year license, and I'm happy with the pricing."
"Price-wise, it is comparable to other solutions for the features that we are using."
"It is important to consider ROI when looking at the cost of a subscription."
"I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive. For an SME, spending roughly 5,000 euros per month becomes interesting, indicating a significant infrastructure setup in the cloud."
"Software licensing models can be expensive depending on what you need compared to open source solutions, for example. However, if you don't have the technical skills, you may be better off paying for a license and support instead of trying to use open source solutions."
"Microsoft Azure is a cost-effective solution where you use it as per your requirement and pay for it."
"Price is good and many free features available"
"Pricing is comparable but from a cost perspective, this solution is the cheapest."
