We support the SumTotal function using Jasper as the LMS reporting system for listing available activities in the system, organizations, users, domains, and their security groups. Jasper IO holds all of those details. We can use Jasper to create any custom JRXMLs.

With the help of JasperReports, we can design a custom report or custom dashboard to get a database connection to any data source or LDP connection. We can design dashboards using those elements or HTML charts and visualize the data regarding the LMS view.

Internally, we use it for employee performance to show how many people are in a team, the amount of projects, and different regions of the managers. 

Our company is a small company. There are only 50 users, and only 10 to 15 use Jasper. Our third party partner has 200 users who are using JasperReports for administration and developer purposes.

A vast number of users can access the solution. Maintenance depends on the server that's maintained by TIBCO.

We are a small company, but we delivered TIBCO for a large organization, Volkswagen. They use the TIBCO reports for their LMS. More than 10,000 people are able to access the same report at the same time to use for their own data or reporting data.

I'm using version 7.6. I have used the SaaS and on-premises versions.

Jasper is quite successful for customer requirements: getting their certification details, user training progress details, or organization details, along with portal training.

The solution is used mainly for reporting purposes. We generate PDFs, which are delivered to the recipient via email.

We can set any property dynamically. We have to use different currencies. Sometimes, we use the pound sign. Sometimes, we use the dollar sign. Our software is a multi-currency software. We have defined the currencies as dynamic parameters. We directly populate the signs in our PDFs.

I use it to extract information from the data-sharing system and to investigate the database. I also use it to schedule Excel reports and sheets.

What I find the most valuable about the solution is that it came with a package and reports from a company adapter IT. We purchased it from there.

I started using the solution for report writing. Over time, the solution added functionality to become more of a business intelligence tool. For example, the solution added ad hoc report writers, online report writers for creating custom reports, and a dashboard designer. 

For one use case at People's Bank, I deployed the on-premises solution. 

For another use case at my company, I used the cloud-based solution with exports or flag files stored in the S3 bucket. 

The solution is standalone with the flexibility to use visualize.js to embed within the application. You can write Java script, call reports the same name in the repository and application, and create a single sign on. 

It is easy to drag-and-drop reports into Canvas to create a custom dashboard. 

HTML5 charts include hover options and overall tips when exporting to PDFs. If you move your mouse over any point, you get details. This is in contrast to the architecture prior to version 5. For example, you used to create reports in iReports using the embedded JFree chart library that was WYSIWYG and did not include hover options or details.

The solution gives you access to the source code for free modifications. In contrast, Tableau charges for modifications or enhancements.

We use Jaspersoft for IT operational reporting across the bank, including finance, account management, and the back office. Additionally, Jaspersoft is used by the application control team to generate ad hoc reports to provide user insights when requested.

The end-user reporting is very handy and the standard reports that can be achieved by using Jaspersoft Studio are quite impressive. Even people with limited programming experience can quickly pick up how to use the product and create reports. The Community Edition is also quite helpful and cost-effective, allowing people to meet their reporting needs without spending a large budget where ad-hoc reporting is not required.

It is used for exporting our reports to the user. We can install our server for the Community Edition, and then we design based on the tools. Then, we can use iReport or even use Jasper's v0.2 to design this report and deploy it to the server. Then, we create the user and give the privilege to the user. The user can execute the report and export it into many formats, like Excel, PDF, or something else. There are about ten formats available in Jasper.

I do not yet deploy it through the cloud. I just work on-premise only. That said, TIBCO already provides a feature to support the cloud.

Around 30 people are using this solution in my organization. 

Some use it to manage the reports or to design the reports. Some just log in to execute the report and export the report.

I cannot say there is only one feature I like. As a whole, the design and the connectivity through the data sources are great. It's all well-planned. It can connect to many data sources. We use spreadsheets, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, and so on, without issue. We like that it allows us to connect to many data sources.

It's easy to use and maintain. If you just export, or you want to transform this product to another environment, it's easy. I feel confident with this product. There are no concerns regarding loss either as it's easy to redeploy.

We primarily use the solution to integrate reports.

The growth time is the most valuable feature of TIBCO Jaspersoft.

The primary use case was creating reports and distributing them over the web to my in-house colleagues, and for some departments that used certain reports, Jasper was free and very effective for presenting data from databases.

Some colleagues need to see data in Excel or PDF format, and when I worked with Java proprietary applications, I had to code a master meditation to save data and colors, etc. TIBCO Jaspersoft was something new to me, and I was able to create reports quickly. The benefit was that I could use Java JDBC connections to connect to any type of database, such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres. This was very beneficial for me as I could quickly create and present reports to those who needed proprietary reports designed for the type of sales they wanted. TIBCO Jaspersoft was great for me as I didn't have to use Java coding. I saw that as a designer, I could meet almost all customers' expectations. When I saw how the server worked, I realized I could make reports easily and deploy them to the server and scheduler. We could easily schedule and create reports to send to clients. This was very useful for me as we could schedule with different parameters and it was very configurable.
