"We use the solution for financial and sales analytics. It brings data from our IT incident management tool. Hence, we have three business use cases for IT support, sales and financials.""We really like that it's user friendly and has a lot of combinations and charts. They're good compared to other tools. We used a free Elastic product, comparatively, this solution is good because of their support, UI, and connecting to databases is very easy.""We can create advanced-level reports with the tool. We can get data from different Zoho applications and also from other third-party applications. We can create schedules for syncing data from third parties to Zoho Analytics. We can also use table queries for getting data from more than one table.""It's a very strong analytics tool.""Ask Zia is a great feature that I use to quickly decide what improvements I need to make in order to present the data that I want to show.""Zoho Analytics's most valuable feature is the ability to provide excellent analytics through a single platform.""The initial setup is straightforward.""We moved the data from Zoho Creator to Zoho Analytics and created reports."

Cons
"The Ad Hoc Report Writer does not include as many features as Tableau and needs to be improved to meet expectations.""Customization is an area with certain shortcomings in the solution that needs improvement.""The stability of TIBCO Jaspersoft needs improvement.""I would like to see some analysis done prior to data extraction. The data extraction itself could also be improved.""TIBCO Jaspersoft would benefit from enabling you to run multiple reports in one file and incorporating more options related to multiple reports.""Currently, JSON format is the main format we use, however, in TIBCO Jaspersoft, XML format is the default and JSON did not work because TIBCO did not fix it.""I would like to see better support for big data.""A better focus should be put on self-service reporting."

More TIBCO Jaspersoft Cons →

"The customer service and support for this solution could be improved by faster response times.""The navigation on the interface is not intuitive.""The hourly pricing needs improvement.""The platform's pricing needs improvement.""There should be more types of graphics available for use in the reports.""They should provide white labeling with a cheaper option. I know they have a white labeling feature in which I can white label Zoho Analytics with my company theme, logo, and URL, but it seems a little expensive. If they can make it cheaper, it would be great. The same is applicable to Tableau.""It would be great to have more user input fields which can be used on dashboards.""There is a limitation that we cannot create more than 300 columns in a worksheet on Zoho Analytics."

Any company (be it technology, manfucaturing, human resource, ecommerce, SME etc) always has the need for Business Intelligence to some or the other extent. If cost is one of the consideration factor, then the 2 BI tools which are at the forefront are Pentaho and Jaspersoft. But, often the same companies are caught up in an imbrogilo as to which tool to use, what are the technology/and end business user wise differences/ do i actually need to purchase commercial edition, is there any work around etc. Differences :- In the below mentioned points, I have tried to cover functionality wise the differences a. Reports :- Jaspersoft is known for its picture pixel perfect reporting. Jasper uses ireport for designing the reports. Hence, for having reports, Jaspersoft is the most ideal candidate. Pentaho uses Pentaho Report Designer. b. Dashboards :- Pentaho provides much more capabililties, interactivity in terms of dashboards. Dashboards designed in Pentaho are far more superior in functionality, aesthetically as compared to Jaspersoft. Pentaho CE uses CDE/CDF, Pentaho EE uses PDD . Dashboard functionality is present only in the Enterprise edition of Jaspersoft. c. Pentaho is having an intermediate layer known as Xactions & hence providing much more flexibility in terms of plugin designing, integration with applications, having out of box experience etc. Xactions supports scripting and scheduling of scripts execution. Jaspersoft dosent provide that much of flexibility in terms of… Read more →
