What is our primary use case?
Our use cases for StructuredWeb are all for our partners to be able to do demand generation at scale. They essentially offer a through-channel marketing automation platform, which is known as a TCMA or a TPMA, which truly enables channels or partners of any nature to do marketing automation through a specific vendor. In my case, that's Dell Technologies.
How has it helped my organization?
It's super simple to implement StructuredWeb within the existing marketing processes. We were really concerned about how difficult it might be. We ended up doing a pilot. The pilot was so easy; we then moved to a full-blown launch to thousands of our partners. Within the first month, we already had over 1,200 partners log into the system, get set up, and start using it straight away, which is uncommon when you've deployed a new tool to a channel ecosystem. They have such an easy setup, and they literally walk the partner through all the steps that they need to take.
It's easy to navigate through Smart Journeys for setting up marketing campaigns. It's fantastic! They are truly very smart. They guide partners through a journey, allowing them to easily follow the steps and move forward with all their demand generation needs. It’s a remarkable tool.
Their entire business model revolves around enabling vendors to offer a simplified, scalable demand generation tool for all their partners. This allows partners to easily access customized demand generation campaigns right at their fingertips.
It's very simple to manage personalized content for different partners within this solution. There’s a brief onboarding process, and then users can jump right into whatever they want to do. Not many people ask for support via chat because the platform is so easy to use. With its drag-and-drop functionality, it's very intuitive. This is why we were pleasantly surprised by the immediate adoption by so many partners.
It’s brilliant when it comes to the effectiveness of the personalized content delivery feature in enhancing partner engagement. They also have robust analytical tools. The personalization aspect is what really sets it apart. Users can specify the target market they’re aiming for, and the platform will provide exactly what they need. This allows them to customize content in a way that helps them differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
What is most valuable?
The overall technology is outstanding because it's AI powered. They're truly utilizing AI within that experience to help us go to market and scale our demand generation campaigns through all of our channel partners. The setup is so simple; there's literally drag and drop functionality.
The best part is that they have these Assistant AI and Edit AI capabilities that truly allow our partners to take our demand gen campaigns and essentially utilize our back-end data to build out accurate claims around our technologies. It also provides them the ability to do it at scale for themselves because they can add their differentiation to separate themselves from their competitors in the marketplace, and they can easily target specific segments and tailor their campaign in a matter of minutes to multiple different segments based on the verticals they're targeting.
My favorite component, which is not something that we had necessarily really known about, is the fact that we get to see what our partners are asking for. They can directly ask the system for specific information they need, and we receive that data. It provides us nearly real-time feedback on what our partners are looking for and what they need help with. It truly gives us a roadmap of the deliverables that we need to be working on so that we can meet their needs completely.
Another exceptional element of the platform is that when they create a campaign, as many of our partners are global in nature, it empowers them to localize their campaigns in 133 languages, which is just an unbelievable tool for folks who want to be able to reach varying markets across the world.
What needs improvement?
In terms of improvements, what's really interesting is my team has provided input along the way. The best part about this partnership with StructuredWeb is the fact that they are open to any of our feedback and to date have been able to accommodate us. It is truly a partnership. I've never had a vendor who is eager to get our feedback. We have thousands of channel partners and specific requirements, and they have been able to work with us to deliver on exactly what we need. I can't think of anything that they can work on. I'm very happy with this relationship and the technology.
If anything, it would be the pricing. I get nervous about how many partners will use the service, as it is based on a schedule. If the service becomes wildly successful, our costs will rise. The challenge is that we want it to be successful because that means we’ll be marketing more. While I haven't experienced it yet, that is a concern as we continue to grow and scale. They've already been so good to us that I doubt that there's a lot of leeway.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using StructuredWeb for about a year and a half.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I have never seen any kind of instability with StructuredWeb.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It's very robust. I would love to add more and more content, but we just can't generate it quickly enough.
How are customer service and support?
My team has contacted their technical support, and it's been great because they meet us on every single request that we ask for.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We did have a TCMA platform prior to this for many years. We saw StructuredWeb's technology and the capabilities of it and the fact that it is AI-driven and does this personalization at scale for partners of all sizes in every region and actually helps to drive measurable growth. It sets the technology apart. We knew we were ready to move to a new platform. There was no other competitor that had an offering that was comparable to this.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of StructuredWeb was quite easy. It's easy when you understand what you want. Since we're a fairly established vendor and we know what our partners want, it was quite simple to say this is how we need things configured and this is how we want it to work. We sailed through single sign-on, and we sailed through the reporting that we wanted. We've been super pleased with everything we've asked for.
The setup, once we decided, took about a month and a half to two months.
What about the implementation team?
Three people were involved in the deployment of StructuredWeb, but it wasn't their full-time job at all. For example, I had one of my communications team members assist us with migrating from our former platform to the new one. It would have been beneficial if she had been involved in the project plan concerning when our communications would be released and launched, among other things. Only two people were involved in the overall experience, configuration, and single sign-on, and that responsibility was only part-time for them.
Maintenance is required if we want to provide our partners with the latest and most effective campaigns. Additionally, we want to continually market to them to ensure they understand the capabilities of this tool. Although we saw strong adoption of the tool at the start, there are still some partners who may not be using it. Therefore, it's our responsibility to keep promoting the tool's usage.
What was our ROI?
The platform's AI integration helps me to reduce the marketing costs significantly. If you think about it, if you're a partner and you want to build a campaign, you don't have to pay for an agency to do it. You've got all of the content at your fingertips. You just need to know what to ask for the tool to get the outcome that you're looking for. On top of that, it's providing and suggesting specific content that you're going to want to use and will then translate it for you in over 130 languages. So it's quite robust.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Their pricing reflects the value that we are getting out of it. More importantly, the value that our partners are getting from it. We are saving our partners a ton of cost in their ability to go to market accurately, in a speedy fashion, and at scale globally anywhere around the world.
What other advice do I have?
Overall, I would give StructuredWeb a ten out of ten.
