Plesk services are provided to many of our clients. I would rate Plesk overall a 10 out of 10. I chose this rating because we have been using Plesk for many years, and it has been providing reliable services and solutions. My advice to others looking into using Plesk is that Plesk is lightweight compared to cPanel, but you should still use at least two virtual CPUs and 4 GB RAM. While hosting WordPress, you should avoid cheap shared VPS plans because Plesk becomes slow and backups time out. Extensions such as Plesk Migrator and Plesk Email Security are excellent. We are a partner with Plesk, which represents our business relationship with this vendor in addition to being a customer.

The best features Plesk offers, in my opinion, include File Manager, SSL Management, email configuration, and DNS configuration. All of those are very handy and user-friendly in Plesk. These features have helped me in my work by making tasks easier and saving time when configuring DNS right in Plesk. They are really good features. Plesk has positively impacted my organization by being very convenient and saving us a lot of time. Previously we were using FTP file transfer to upload the files, which was very tedious, but with Plesk, it becomes very easy for us to upload files on the server. That is really convenient and time-saving for us, making it useful for the organization as well. We save more than ten hours weekly using Plesk compared to the old FTP method.

I'm not satisfied with the backup. The website files, ownership, and permissions on Plesk aren't clear at all. We need monitoring for the websites. For some sites that aren't up-to-date, any attackers could upload malicious codes to the website. There isn't any kind of monitoring for malicious codes. I would also like some kind of protection for the applications we put on the server. These wouldn't be normal firewalls, but firewalls that check the logs of the websites and issue an email with an alert when something wrong is happening to the website. There should be some sort of firewall that is specified for app protection. I have also faced some difficulty in moving the websites away from Plesk. Plesk doesn't work in synchronization mode. There's no ability to transfer configurations from old servers to new servers.
