Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Reviews

We are mostly working on ERP products relevant to ERPs. Our customers are mostly banks and some local manufacturers, and they use Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for various functions.

In ERP, mostly people are looking for financial solutions for GL, ERP, AR, and assets. The embedded AI is very beneficial for automations, and it provides a lot of help to customers. With Oracle ODA, users can simply chat with the system to enter expenses and Oracle AI performs processes automatically, saving time for customers. Features like reporting and dashboards are the main ones.

The data entry process is very time-consuming. Without using options like ODA, manually entering data in the GLS screen or Oracle invoices is a time-consuming job. The screens could be improved, as a lot of mouse clicks are required, and multiple fields need to be entered. Although it has a workaround with spreadsheets, the screen interface could be better.

I have used the solution for more than five years.

The solution is very scalable. Sometimes Internet issues affect performance, otherwise, the performance is quite good.

The technical support needs more improvement. The quality of service providers varies by region, causing delays in resolutions. The support staff also seems to lack experience or knowledge about some products.

We have moved major clients from EBS to Fusion Cloud ERP because of its features and functionality, though pricing is more of a concern for mid-level or small companies.

Compared with the old Oracle version, setting up Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is quite easy since it allows rapid implementation.

As a return on investment, the product is good and valuable to customers. Recently, major banks and companies are moving to Fusion because of its value. Despite cost concerns, it provides infrastructures and other services.

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP might be considered expensive, especially in Pakistan due to conversion rates. It can be difficult to convince customers because of price differences when compared with EBS. However, it provides infrastructure and services along with the license.

I did look at Oracle EBS.

The total rating for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is eight out of ten. 

Despite some geographic and knowledge challenges with support, the features and benefits make it a strong product.

The solution has a strong customer base for financial applications, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, and cash management. They're doing well in these areas.

It offers real-time analytics through Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, which helps build analytical reports on the data model. It also has Fusion Intelligence, a data warehouse integrated with the database that offers real-time data integration and prebuilt analytical reporting. These are standard features of the product.

The procurement module in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is comprehensive. It covers purchase orders, sourcing, supplier selection and onboarding, supplier portal, and features like Punch Out for connecting to third-party ordering websites. They also have EDI integration, which are all cool features.

Many of our clients previously had decentralized architectures with multiple applications, struggling with financial and management reporting. The solution offers a wider stack and scope of applications, catering to multiple client bases and application requirements. Its UI also provides a good user experience, which helps with client adoption.

The solution has several advantages as a SaaS product. It continuously improves and enriches its product with quarterly upgrades and new updates. It stays on top of industry best practices and standards, which isn't always possible for businesses. Since the tool  is cloud-based, it's much easier to manage and maintain compared to client deployment models. Oracle manages the infrastructure, so it doesn't require much management effort on our part.

The AI functionality is great. In the latest release, they introduced about 50 AI features. A digital assistant integrated into the product helps users navigate through different communication channels like chat, audio, and voice. It provides recommendations and insights quite well. They also have AI for document handling, like scanning and creating invoices automatically.

They have a product for predictive analytics used mostly in manufacturing industries. It integrates with IoT sensors to perform predictive analysis on production machines. They also have an analytics-driven UI with alerts to help users take action based on collected data.

We did face some challenges during the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Certain requirements were not met by the standard functionality, so we had to customize and build custom applications on top of the solution. But overall, I think it stacks up well as a standard product.

It should  improve their customer support. Sometimes, service requests stay open for a while, and we don't always get clear resolutions. They're still scaling up to handle the frequent updates and changes that come with a SaaS product.

I have worked with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for three to four years.

I worked with Oracle E-Business Suite for about ten years and also with custom Oracle applications. I stopped working with Oracle E-Business Suite about four to five years ago when I transitioned to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

The implementation time can vary greatly. Some small-scale implementations take about 8-9 months, while larger global deployments can take 3-4 years. I don't think much needs to be simplified in the implementation process. The tool keeps improving the features and product stack, and they have a framework with standards and guidelines for implementation.

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is reasonable and recommended for medium-sized enterprises. It might be a bit expensive for smaller businesses, but it is a good product if they have sufficient users.

I would recommend Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to others. Other products in the market, such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, and Salesforce, cater to different use cases or customer bases. I might be biased since I've been working with Oracle for several years, but I'd rate Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP an eight out of ten. 

I use Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for various processes, such as recording to report, ordering to cash, procuring to payment, and hiring to retire. I also use it for enterprise performance management.

Unlike traditional ERPs, where adding a column is customization, personalization is in the tool. OTBI is built-in, providing many pre-delivered reports and dashboards. It's cloud-based, so it's OpEx instead of CapEx. Oracle Integration Cloud Services offers pre-delivered APIs for easy integration with systems like payroll and Salesforce.

The OCI layer allows for AI, ML, and Gen AI capabilities. It can provide insights on payments, offering discounts for early payments or showing interest for late payments. The open platform allows bots, mobility, and Gen AI integration.

There are two main areas for improvement. First, the licensing and pricing model confuses customers, especially after going live. Different components like EPM, ERP, and OIC are charged differently. Second, the manufacturing functionality needs more maturity, especially for non-process-based manufacturing. We've raised this with Oracle, and they've acknowledged it. They might address it in future patches.

Functionality-wise, I feel there's a lack of manufacturing, especially discrete manufacturing. The product is not that mature in this area. They need to work hard on it. They have developed AI and ML solutions for manufacturing, but I haven't deployed those yet. Compared to SAP, especially for manufacturing, Oracle still needs to work a lot.

For stability, I haven't seen any significant issues. Oracle legally claims 99.99 percent uptime. I haven't encountered problems with over 30 global customers where the system is down. They have backup data centres everywhere. The backup site is available with zero data loss if something goes wrong with the main server.

I would rate the scalability of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP as ten out of ten. The reason is that everything is now hosted by Oracle. They've recently released a self-service console for end users. During implementation, they ask for information to size your hardware. Oracle has controls in place - if CPU usage reaches 75 per cent, they'll automatically expand your hardware. The self-service options, especially for environment refresh, have greatly improved. What used to take 15 days now can be done almost instantly. They've given customers control over task initiation and completion, which is really good.

The main competitors for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP are SAP and, to a certain extent, Microsoft Dynamics. Each has a slightly different target market. Dynamics is more for small to mid-size businesses with a smaller budget. SAP always has the upper hand when it comes to manufacturing, but otherwise, it's fairly good competition.

I work with all enterprise applications, not just Oracle. I often do assessments for customers to determine which solution would be the right fit for them. Sometimes I recommend SAP over Oracle, or Dynamics, depending on the customer's needs and what they're trying to achieve.

The initial setup process for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is not that complex. They provide FDBI templates. It does self-validation of data. For example, if you're migrating customer master data, which might have seven or eight different tabs, it validates and gives errors if there's conflicting information. It's much easier compared to on-premise applications where we used to write TC for data migration. The configuration is quite flexible.

I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten. 

My main use case involves being a data modeler in the data warehousing world, and in order to do the analysis, I should understand the source data. That's the reason I ask for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP access so that I can understand what data we have in the source and how I can consume that source data to build our data model. That's the first step.

For example, if I want to do data modeling for general ledgers or the GL module, I need to understand the base tables that I have in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, how they are connected so that I will get a better understanding of how to design the fact tables and the dimension tables.

The functionality-wise features or functions of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP that I find most valuable depend totally on the client.

Regarding the analytics and reporting capabilities of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, I am satisfied with it.

Based on my experience, the main benefits Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP provides to the users include numerous advantages.

In terms of room for improvement, I believe Oracle can make better enhancements to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

I have been working with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for three years.

For stability, I would rate Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP as stable.

When it comes to scalability, I am not sure about that part based on my use case.

I do not have experience with technical support from Oracle because the client owns the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP products and they are very much near to that; we just consume the data. The Oracle will be contacted by the client, and they would follow up. What I heard is they will be delayed, and they will not get the faster responses as they expect.

I would refrain from answering about pricing for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP products because I am not very familiar with it. On a scale from one to ten, I would rate Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP as an eight.

I use Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for enterprise finance suits, procurement, and the projects module.

In terms of end-to-end integration, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is good. It offers advanced features for accounts payable and invoices, making navigation more user-friendly. Additionally, management-related dashboards are well-designed, allowing direct access to raw data. The project budget control has improved significantly since its implementation.

The integration point of view is valuable with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, especially for drill-down capabilities in accounts payable and invoices. The navigation is user-friendly and the management-related dashboards provide excellent functionality.

Oracle should offer a platter system rather than module-based licensing, similar to what SAP offers, allowing customers to implement only what they need without separate module licenses.

I have been using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for one year.

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is stable.

The solution is very scalable.

I have not escalated many issues to technical support so far.

Prior to using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, I used Oracle e-Business Suite for over fourteen years. We switched because the e-Business Suite did not offer the advanced features and AI capabilities available in cloud-based solutions.

The initial setup was managed in a hybrid mode with personnel from both our office and remote locations.

The implementation was a hybrid approach involving team members on-site and remotely.

The ROI was planned for five years, and the decision was made based on achieving that ROI within the five-year timeframe.

Pricing is competitive, but a platter system similar to SAP's offerings would benefit customers more, allowing for flexible module implementation.

I evaluated SAP S4HANA and NetSuite solutions before deciding on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP due to its flexibility and the satisfaction I received from the demonstrations.

Before implementing an ERP solution, businesses must thoroughly evaluate the business processes and available reports and functions to understand the benefits. Choosing a capable implementation partner who understands the business processes is equally important to ensure proper deployment.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

We primarily use the product for our finance and procurement processes.

The ERP system manages all our financial processes, including procure-to-pay and order-to-cash. It effectively supports these tasks.

The product's pricing needs improvement. 

We have been using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for more than two years. 

The product has been stable. 

We have around 400 Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP users across multiple locations and departments. 

As a SaaS solution, the platform is inherently scalable. We have not faced any scalability issues to date.

The technical support services are good and can resolve most of our issues.

The product pricing is based on a per-user model. It is expensive. 

Although we evaluated other options, Fusion was more suitable for our environment.

Oracle Fusion offers numerous real-time dashboards, and we also use Analytics Cloud for data insights.

We require more compliance and regulation controls in the Middle East than regions like the US and UK. Overall, we are satisfied with its adaptability.

It is easy to adopt and streamline business processes. However, it might be challenging if your organization requires extensive customizations. For standardized processes, it is a good choice.

I recommend it to others and rate it a nine out of ten. 

Our enterprise clients use the platform to streamline their processes, particularly financial management. Large organizations find it essential for their ERP needs as it helps them manage various business operations efficiently.

The product is cloud-based and offers comprehensive, end-to-end functionality. It provides valuable control and insights from sourcing to payment, which is crucial for business operations.

The solution could benefit from improvements in project management, project execution, and project costing, especially for industries like construction. Although Oracle offers related products, they are not integrated within the ERP umbrella.

I have been working with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP since 2016.

The product has good stability. 

The product is scalable. It can accommodate additional lines of business and entities, local or international. 

I rate the scalability a nine out of ten. 

The technical support services are good. However, there is still room for improvement, especially in resolving bugs.

The solution is quite expensive. The licensing cost depends on the number of users and modules.

I rate Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP a nine out of ten. 

We are using ERP Cloud for all our models. This consists of all our finances, HR, CRM, and supply chain management. I particularly work for the SCM segment.

The best part of Oracle ERP Cloud is that everything can be found in a single place. We as an organization, have our finances planned, HR Code uploaded, time and labor, payroll, supply chain, and CRM embedded in the single system.

The solution is ever-evolving. Each quarter, the product and the system have new purchases, dependencies, and improvements. There is a constant need to stay alert about new updates and change whatever is updated according to the requirements. Most of the changes are odd and require no need to access from the user side. It isn’t a disadvantage but a part of the evolution of the product.

The additional features depend on the case. There is, however, always room for improvement. Oracle can make the system more stable which includes some changes as some of the use cases were not available in Oracle's systems and the element’s value needed to be defined. This is one of the limitations of Oracle ERP Cloud.

I have worked with Oracle ERP Cloud for more than three years and my organization had Oracle ERP Cloud since the start.

The product is stable. However, some parts might be unstable, but it depends on each use.

The product support from Oracle is good, but it could be better. I sometimes expect a quick response when I have a client on the other end.

The initial setup is easy as it is provided by Oracle itself. The user configurations need to be done by technicians. The setup of the environment is easier as it is provided by Oracle.

The deployment requires our configuration. Therefore, based on the use case and configuration, the time isn’t fixed. In most of the projects, I have seen the same in six months. Moreover, Oracle ERP Cloud requires more configuration than deployment.

If we implement multiple modules, the number of people for deployment depends on the structure or work plan. For example, if you have to configure a complete system, and the time period is six months, it might require four to five people. But if the same is not defined, then it will take more people. It is challenging to decide how much human resources will be required. It depends on the case and the scenario.

In terms of maintenance, in the initial period, more effort and workforce are required. Once the system is stable, the number of people can be reduced. The maintenance depends on the structure of the organization. Some organizations have a central maintenance team that has four or five people who are responsible for maintaining or working on every model. Some organizations have specific teams working on specific modules. It majorly depends on the nature of the projects.

The price is average compared to other vendors. The licensing is on a yearly basis depending on the subscription pattern. There are no extra costs apart from licensing.

I recommend the product as it is good. If any organization is planning to use cloud-based ERP solutions, they can go for Oracle ERP Cloud as everything is in one place. I would rate the product an eight out of ten. 

I have been doing SAP business since 2002, but for the last two years, I have switched to Oracle. We work with Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud application, and Oracle ERP. Our projects are primarily in the USA, and my team is involved in consultancy roles, conversion, migration, and reporting.

Oracle's proprietary cloud technology provides more from the technology and security side than SAP, which uses other hyperscaler services. This has made Oracle a better fit for our cloud needs.

Oracle has proprietary cloud technology and provides high levels of technology and security. Oracle's cloud applications, such as Oracle Fusion and Oracle ERP, are high quality, especially in terms of technology integration and robustness.

Oracle needs to be more adaptable to the market. Their methodology of implementation is very rigid. They need to increase flexibility in their approach and the methodology of implementation.

Our team has been working with Oracle Fusion applications for around two years.

Oracle is very strong in cloud-level integration and services at the moment. Its scalability, especially in a multi-cloud environment, is very robust.

I was doing SAP business since 2002 but switched to Oracle two years ago because Oracle's cloud technology provided better technology and security aspects.

Our team in Serbia focuses on implementation services, not on selling licenses or technology.

The pricing for Oracle Fusion is highly competitive but depends on the market. It is very suitable for large and middle-sized companies. For smaller companies, it might be a little expensive. For high-tech smaller companies, it is quite suitable and provides a good solution.

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP may not be suitable for every type of business. If you want to make customizations or changes, it might cause a lot of problems. It is important to adopt Oracle solutions as they are without many custom changes.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

I use Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for HR operations. At our company, we also use the solution for software infrastructure and evaluation. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP helps in team management by managing leaves. 

The entire solution operates online or on the cloud and this is a valuable feature of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Due to the implementation of this solution, the HR system is entirely online in our organization, and anyone can apply for a leave remotely. Another vital feature is that it allows integration with Microsoft 365. 

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP's interface needs to be improved. Report generation should be made easier. 

I have been using the solution for a year now. 

The solution is stable. 

This solution is used frequently by about 9,000 users in our organization. I personally use it quite frequently for leave management and a few times a quarter for performance management. 

I would rate the tech support an eight out of ten. For a few instances when we have raised an issue from our company, it has taken more than we expected to resolve it.

Previously, an internal tool was used for HR management, and for staffing purposes, a SAP product was used. 

I would rate the solution's initial setup a seven out of ten. At our company, we faced a couple of issues with the configuration during setup. The solution's deployment process took around six months. Three individuals are required to maintain the solution in our company. 

A third-party team of three engineers, including a product engineer, project manager, and relationship manager, helped implement the solution. 

Our organization receives a better ROI from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP than the previously used solutions. 

I would rate the pricing a five out of ten. 

I would definitely recommend using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to other organizations who don't already have a similar internal solution. I would overall rate the solution a six out of ten.
