We are using ERP Cloud for all our models. This consists of all our finances, HR, CRM, and supply chain management. I particularly work for the SCM segment.
We are using ERP Cloud for all our models. This consists of all our finances, HR, CRM, and supply chain management. I particularly work for the SCM segment.
The best part of Oracle ERP Cloud is that everything can be found in a single place. We as an organization, have our finances planned, HR Code uploaded, time and labor, payroll, supply chain, and CRM embedded in the single system.
The solution is ever-evolving. Each quarter, the product and the system have new purchases, dependencies, and improvements. There is a constant need to stay alert about new updates and change whatever is updated according to the requirements. Most of the changes are odd and require no need to access from the user side. It isn’t a disadvantage but a part of the evolution of the product.
The additional features depend on the case. There is, however, always room for improvement. Oracle can make the system more stable which includes some changes as some of the use cases were not available in Oracle's systems and the element’s value needed to be defined. This is one of the limitations of Oracle ERP Cloud.
I have worked with Oracle ERP Cloud for more than three years and my organization had Oracle ERP Cloud since the start.
The product is stable. However, some parts might be unstable, but it depends on each use.
The product support from Oracle is good, but it could be better. I sometimes expect a quick response when I have a client on the other end.
The initial setup is easy as it is provided by Oracle itself. The user configurations need to be done by technicians. The setup of the environment is easier as it is provided by Oracle.
The deployment requires our configuration. Therefore, based on the use case and configuration, the time isn’t fixed. In most of the projects, I have seen the same in six months. Moreover, Oracle ERP Cloud requires more configuration than deployment.
If we implement multiple modules, the number of people for deployment depends on the structure or work plan. For example, if you have to configure a complete system, and the time period is six months, it might require four to five people. But if the same is not defined, then it will take more people. It is challenging to decide how much human resources will be required. It depends on the case and the scenario.
In terms of maintenance, in the initial period, more effort and workforce are required. Once the system is stable, the number of people can be reduced. The maintenance depends on the structure of the organization. Some organizations have a central maintenance team that has four or five people who are responsible for maintaining or working on every model. Some organizations have specific teams working on specific modules. It majorly depends on the nature of the projects.
The price is average compared to other vendors. The licensing is on a yearly basis depending on the subscription pattern. There are no extra costs apart from licensing.
I recommend the product as it is good. If any organization is planning to use cloud-based ERP solutions, they can go for Oracle ERP Cloud as everything is in one place. I would rate the product an eight out of ten.
I have been doing SAP business since 2002, but for the last two years, I have switched to Oracle. We work with Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud application, and Oracle ERP. Our projects are primarily in the USA, and my team is involved in consultancy roles, conversion, migration, and reporting.
Oracle's proprietary cloud technology provides more from the technology and security side than SAP, which uses other hyperscaler services. This has made Oracle a better fit for our cloud needs.
Oracle has proprietary cloud technology and provides high levels of technology and security. Oracle's cloud applications, such as Oracle Fusion and Oracle ERP, are high quality, especially in terms of technology integration and robustness.
Oracle needs to be more adaptable to the market. Their methodology of implementation is very rigid. They need to increase flexibility in their approach and the methodology of implementation.
Our team has been working with Oracle Fusion applications for around two years.
Oracle is very strong in cloud-level integration and services at the moment. Its scalability, especially in a multi-cloud environment, is very robust.
I was doing SAP business since 2002 but switched to Oracle two years ago because Oracle's cloud technology provided better technology and security aspects.
Our team in Serbia focuses on implementation services, not on selling licenses or technology.
The pricing for Oracle Fusion is highly competitive but depends on the market. It is very suitable for large and middle-sized companies. For smaller companies, it might be a little expensive. For high-tech smaller companies, it is quite suitable and provides a good solution.
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP may not be suitable for every type of business. If you want to make customizations or changes, it might cause a lot of problems. It is important to adopt Oracle solutions as they are without many custom changes.
I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is used in inventory management, supply chain, purchasing and all HR processes.
The solution is highly configurable. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is also more affordable than other competitor on-prem solutions and provides an advanced UI experience.
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP can support all types of core financial management tasks for our organization's customers.
For economically weak countries, the solution's price appears expensive.
I have been using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP since 2006.
The solution is primarily stable, except for a few rare performance fluctuations. I have witnessed 95% stability in the solution.
The scalability of the solution depends upon the new legal entity definition and operation grid. The number of licensed users can be easily increased for the solution, so there are no obstacles with the scalability.
I would rate the tech support an eight out of ten.
Positive
The setup process of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is quite easy, especially when Oracle Functional Setup Manager is used. The implementation strategy depends upon the project dynamics because, in some cases in our company, we set up the solution module by module, but sometimes, as per the customer's expectation, all the modules are implemented centrally in one or more pilot entities before rollout.
Depending on the scope of the project, 5 to 25 professionals might be needed to deploy Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Maintenance is not difficult, as general support and cloud customer connect channels are available for assistance. Sometimes, local support or maintenance services need to be procured from a consultancy.
It's a cost-effective solution that can provide customers with a satisfying ROI.
The solution's pricing is reasonable in the global market but not in Turkey, which is mainly due to the country's poor economic condition. I believe the vendor should provide some flexibility with the minimum number of licenses or general discounts for the Turkish market and mid-sized companies.
The Oracle Transactional BI is being embedded with Oracle SaaS solutions by the vendor, so the product becomes highly configurable, and it meets the majority of our organization's reporting and decision-making requirements.
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is highly configurable, and all the local requirements of our company's customers can be implemented easily. The solution also has sophisticated integration capabilities, so while adapting to regulations, it can be integrated with any government-authorized or legal third parties, helping our organization cover registration and local needs.
The Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM holds AI and machine learning features which makes it a powerful HR solution. For instance, for recruitment and talent management, AI technology takes into account the interest of our organization's customers, but further development is needed. I believe the Generative AI features of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM will be a promising feature differentiator when compared to other solutions.
The innovation in the product, mobility, ease of implementation and customization, and local integration capabilities are some of the features that make a professional or organization choose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP over the competitors. I would definitely recommend the solution to other users. I would overall rate the product an eight out of ten.
The solution is primarily for finance and accounts. It's spread across multiple industries, including service, trading, and a bit of manufacturing.
The product brings a fair bit of accountability into the system. There are checks and balances. The maker-checker and workflow are in place. Certain transactions that require a bit of system-based controls, validations, and logic are enforced better. These are the reasons why I prefer the tool. The solution helps me organize things in procurement. Earlier, it used to be outside the books in Excel. About 30% to 35% of the data in Excel has come into the ERP. To that extent, the tool is automated.
The user interface is the best feature. The dashboards are good.
The ability to customize must be improved. The tool must enable users to customize the reports.
I have been using the solution for 15 to 17 years.
I rate the tool’s stability a ten out of ten. There were no bugs. If we do not factor in a business scenario, it will be a problem. It is part of the business requirements.
Almost 8000 employees use the solution in our organization. The vendor gave us a middleware area to customize. Technically, though it is a cloud solution, there is a middle layer. I rate the scalability a seven or eight out of ten.
If a support person knows something the client needs, they must tell the client quickly. The support people keep trying, experimenting, and then come back to us with a solution. It is not professional. The technical partners are not competitive enough to give solutions within the accepted SLAs. They do their own experiments, take their time, and come back with a solution.
Neutral
The initial setup was complex. An end user cannot do it. It can be best done by implementation or technical partners. I rate the ease of setup one out of ten. We must do a business study before implementation. The core implementation and installation took 24 days.
We cannot implement the tool. We must have a partner to help us deploy the solution. The deployment is not that user-friendly.
Only one out of ten businesses in India could afford the product. The tool’s price must be improved.
I prefer project management software like Jira over a project management module that is part of a larger software. A software dedicated to project management will give us more versatility and functionality. I have used Microsoft Dynamics before. Dynamics was very inferior to Oracle Fusion 20 years ago. Today, the gap has been substantially reduced.
I would recommend the product because of its ability to customize and extract work. I will not recommend it because it is expensive. Overall, I rate the product a seven out of ten.
We use Oracle ERP Cloud as the main source of data storage and financial management. Our complete financial record is securely stored there.
I find that the overall framework and database structure is quite comprehensive. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of the Oracle ERP community as it offers a multitude of possible solutions to any existing question.
There are certain limitations compared to other solutions. The database is outdated and quite rigid. As the global market of this kind of software solution is getting competitive, it would be advisable to enhance the customization of the existing tools.
We have been using this solution for two years now.
We encountered challenges with the solution's stability. There were some situations when we tried to get access to the cloud but we got kicked out from the browser. We did not experience this with other websites, so it was related to Oracle ERP itself.
In terms of performance, I find this solution to be quite scalable.
The level of customer service provided by Oracle ERP Cloud is below expectations. There have been certain requests from our side that were not answered properly. I find their support team to be unknowledgeable and unacquainted with all the bugs and known defects of the solution. That might be due to the complexity of the database structure. Overall, their customer service and support are quite dissatisfying. I would rate it three to four out of ten.
Negative
The initial setup was quite difficult. Normally, with other ERP solutions, you would get everything ready to be implemented and deployed, but with Oracle ERP Cloud, our team had to map and register all of the data by themselves. It takes two or three people and more than half a day.
Oracle ERP Cloud is on the expensive side and there could be a possibility for a more affordable pricing structure compared to other solutions. We have an ongoing annual licensing arrangement with them, but it is quite complex to establish a long-term relationship with this platform. My advice would be to think twice about choosing this solution unless you have a strong finance and support team that can facilitate the process.
Our company faced some setbacks regarding performance on certain requests from our clients. There are significant limitations in customization that disrupt the normal flow of the business operation. Oracle ERP Cloud provides quarterly updates and it takes time to check all of the tools and test out the functions, so that raises a concern about data control and potential downtime of operations.
I would rate the solution a six out of ten.
We use the solution mainly for our clients, particularly financial modules. It excels in procurement and offers coverage across all pillars of ERP functionality. The reporting system is particularly impressive. The OIS integration technology simplifies processes for our clients, making their lives easier. Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud is the best product available in terms of features and real-world usage.
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP has integrated the best features from various sources. For instance, it incorporates the strengths of HCM from PeopleSoft, PPM from another source, and CRM from Salesforce. It is a fusion product that excels in multiple areas. With each quarterly release, Oracle adds new features based on client feedback and industry trends, enhancing performance and keeping ahead of competitors. This proactive approach ensures that Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP remains at the forefront of enterprise solutions.
There are integration issues and a lack of flexibility within OIC. When integrating systems, the process feels rigid and linear. There's an absence of points where interventions or adjustments can be made. This lack of flexibility makes pausing or deactivating specific steps difficult, impacting workflow efficiency.
I have been using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for seven years since 2016.
The product is stable except for minor issues.
The solution’s scalability is good. However, there may be occasional issues, such as minor disruptions at year-end, which could potentially affect the product's performance or cause temporary slowdowns. Overall, scalability is a strong point of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
The initial setup is easy. It has made life easier compared to other ERPs in the market. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP offers features like spreadsheet loaders and integration tools that facilitate data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP version. These tools provide a plug-and-play interface, simplifying data input for functional and technical personnel. Earlier, It was a day-to-day job of inserting the data; migration was complex, and keeping track was difficult. Migration and tracking are streamlined with Fusion Cloud ERP, and tasks such as importing and exporting data are more straightforward.
I would rate the initial setup a nine out of ten, where one is complex and ten is easy.
The availability of connectivity tools, learning resources, and Oracle MetaLink support greatly aids users during implementation. The supportive community, including the Oracle ERP community, provides valuable assistance.
I'm not aware of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP pricing details because I don't have information about it before deployment.
We have been using ERP systems from the beginning, starting with PeopleSoft. Our clients and our foundation are rooted in PeopleSoft. Therefore, the cloud version is also our preferred choice. We are aligned with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
We continuously customize the solution to meet our needs, including generating reports with our company logo and catering to different business unit teams or regions. These customizations, whether on page layouts or other aspects, are seamlessly integrated into the cloud platform. I particularly appreciate the flexibility and ease of customization offered by Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP compared to other solutions like SAP or Workday. With cloud-based ERP, we can stay up-to-date with the latest upgrades without worrying about the complexities of managing custom code.
As a techno-functional consultant and integration specialist, I have extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. We work to ensure technical accuracy and punctuality in our implementations, particularly on integrations with both on-premises systems and third-party applications. I have comprehensive knowledge of technical and functional aspects and a specialization in integration.
Overall, I rate the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solution a ten out of ten.
I recently made the move from Oracle ABS to Oracle Cloud.
One of the most valuable aspects is that it's a cloud-based solution. It's easy to deploy, and we don't have to worry about upgrading anything.
Additionally, it allows for easy accessibility by many people, especially while working from home.
One disadvantage is that we don't have immediate access to evaluate or fix data that is not in the app until we own the database.
I have been using this solution for three years. We are currently using version 23B under licensing.
It is a stable solution.
It is scalable, but it does have some limitations. I would rate the scalability a seven out of ten. There are over 1000 users in my organization using this solution.
The customer service and support team is okay.
Neutral
The initial setup is really easy but takes a bit of time. It usually takes around five to six hours.
We don't have to deploy it ourselves. Oracle takes care of the deployment, so we don't need any engineers or architects.
We also have to handle the maintenance.
Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
We are using a multi-tenanted cloud. ERP Cloud is a core financial accounting system. It is the backbone of all the financial reporting in our organization. We are moving more and more of our business that use legacy systems to Oracle.
The product has good functionality.
We have had concerns about the security and flexibility of the application. The approach with Oracle ERP Cloud should be more holistic rather than user or computer-based.
I would like to see a self-service solution around receivables. This exists with payables, but not with receivables.
Oracle has a mechanism to vote for new ideas, solutions, and features that should be introduced, however, it is like a black box. Your vote goes in, but nothing ever comes out of it.
I have been using Oracle ERP Cloud for seven years.
Oracle ERP Cloud is stable. After the first month when we went live, each month's closing period has been smooth and exactly as expected.
To maintain the solution, we have 70 people. Some of these are shared resources and not full-time staffing for Oracle alone. We handle multiple platforms and have a lot of data that travels through multiple systems that land in Oracle. You need people to manage what data they have actually pushed into Oracle and what data they have pushed out of Oracle.
The solution is scalable. We are underutilizing this product at the moment, so scalability is not an issue. The core number of users for this application would be approximately 300 including end users, system administrators, makers and checkers, supervisors, and people who control the chain management as part of the configurations.
We have been using PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft was used for HCM and Core Financials. We have only migrated Core Financials to Oracle ERP Cloud.
Because of the size of our data footprint, the initial setup was complex.
Oracle Consulting assisted with providing solutions for certain designs in terms of architecture. The entire deployment, including moving from the previous solution and making all the configurations run smoothly, took two years.
The pricing for Oracle ERP Cloud is on par with other top solutions. We are primarily a user-centric model of the transactional model in terms of what people do enter. This is centralized, so licensing costs for a user are not a concern in our case.
We have a bundled five-year contract that includes technical support, and all features with no additional payment required.
I would rate this solution an eight out of 10 overall.
