What is our primary use case?
We use it to send bulk emails like any bulk mailing tool, but where it differs is with the campaign builder.
Campaigns allow marketing teams to orchestrate the entire procedure to allow you to publish, promote, follow registered people, introduce participants to the event, etc.
The elements of Campaigns allow you to automate a marketing activity from start to finish, not requiring human intervention in the process itself.
Another amazing element of Marketing Creatio is the email template builder. It is very complete, where you can design the email you want and those sent are supported very well. They are presented correctly on any device.
How has it helped my organization?
This product has improved our organization basically by simplifying the marketing effort. We can invite contacts in remote events, seminars, webinars, and of course, identify the interests of customers regarding which links they click on in the mailings to understand the potential items of interest.
For example, you can design a Campaign where:
- You can select who the target audience is to invite,
- Send an invitation email, follow if someone clicks on any link, such as registering,
- If someone clicks on the registration link, it takes them to the registration page, if the user registers,
- Emails them with the details of the event and then thanks them for registering.
- It incorporates the contact in the Event as a participant.
- On the day of the event
- If it is remote, through integrations with remote meeting applications such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Teams, Webex, etc, it will identify who participated, or
- In the case of face-to-face events, mark the participants as having attended.
- Concludes the campaign with the sending of a “Thank You” email for participating, and
- Including the participants in a view for the Commercial area to follow up, being able to post commercials by email or in their calendar that they have "work" to do, is incredible!
What is most valuable?
Campaign Builder is the best tool in Marketing Creatio because it integrates all of the components that are available.
Integrating with Creatio Marketplace apps like Beesender, you can convert Marketing Creatio into a real Social Marketing tool for B2C companies. This allows you to introduce social communications in both senses. You can receive feedback from the community and customers using hybrid chats (Human & bot), and also provides the ability to promote marketing campaigns. It is also possible to communicate with customers/contacts using bulk chat campaigns.
You can communicate using the medium that people use today: Social communication networks, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Twitter, Viver, Line, and others.
What needs improvement?
I would like to see support for new social communication tools, and improvements to the web page monitoring capabilities.
Improvements can be made to the outbound chat campaigns so that we can include them in marketing campaigns. This would be a new element to use in case email is not good for the client. For example, there are university students who prefer to receive info via their phone, rather than in email. It is possible to do this, but I think it is something that can be improved because social communication networks yield a much better response than the "old" email campaigns.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
This solution is very stable, and we have had no problems in more than two years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
To this point, we have not needed to expand our implementation. Creatio supports what we need also we can contract a dedicated cloud server maintained by Creatio, which give us the best of two worlds. It is like on-premises solutions with the benefits of being managed by Creatio.
How are customer service and support?
We have used Creatio support and found that they are very responsive. These are experts with Creatio and we are very happy with their support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Previously, we used the Mailchimp Marketing Platform. We changed to Marketing Creatio because it's an integrated solution. We don't only use bulks emails to contact people and we want to follow the results, register the activities, call, chat, email, have meetings, generate and follow leads, opportunities, and so on in one integrated platform.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is very simple. Creatio has step-by-step guidelines to begin implementation and they are very simple to follow. They also have a very well documented Academy page to learn at no cost.
In addition to the documentation, there is also a course. We completed one, although later, we realized that it wasn't necessary because the same material is available free for everyone. Perhaps somebody more junior might need guided learning.
What about the implementation team?
We implemented with our own team and certified a couple of them.
What was our ROI?
In less than three months, we recovered the investment in this platform.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Considering that we have many tools and components available in this one platform, the price of this product is low. Other solutions are expensive and integrating several apps raises the total price, so implementing this one has helped us achieve amazing results and benefits at a low cost.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Marketing Creatio, I tried integrating Mailchimp with Sage CRM, SugarCRM, Dynamics 365, Vtiger, and others. But finally, having to work with many different products caused difficulties within our team. There were different tools and UIs, and we had to fight with integrations. Ultimately, the complete platform allows us to do better work, more sales, and better overall results for our company.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Private Cloud
