Simple to use, easy to set up, and performs well
I'm not saying that we want to switch the product, however, since the requirement has increased, we are looking at other options that may be better suited. The scalability may not there. We have a few specific use cases where we have to avoid the cloud. Especially in Europe, we're not allowed to carry their phone in factories. We need some sort of secure access solution. There's a dependency on Microsoft Azure. I am paying to SafeNet and in parallel, I also need to pay Microsoft to use the same service. That makes no sense, to pay double. If they could do something about it, that would be very good.

Effective product tracking and monitoring enhances daily operations despite needing documentation improvement
The documentation part of Workspace ONE UEM can be confusing. The documentation is not comprehensive compared to other VMware solutions or Microsoft documentation. Most people struggle to connect the dots when looking at the documentation. Even the training material and PowerPoint slide decks that trainers use are sometimes too confusing or overwhelming, with too much content but not enough clarity. The support side has recently become weaker compared to what it used to be with VMware. This is another area that needs improvement. Since working with Workspace ONE UEM from when it was AirWatch, it has improved significantly over the last five years. However, there are still some gray areas and scope for improvement, especially in documentation and workflow between different aspects of the solution.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Right now, we only have a small use case for the product, however, it has performed well."
"The interface is easy to use."
"I recommend this solution because it protects information."
"The validation and integrity features of the endpoint are great."
"The solution is simple to use."
"The solution's single plane of glass approach is beneficial. The endpoint management is very good and specific. One of their competitors is Intune, and you have leaks from other services within the Microsoft ecosystem."
"No issues with scalability."
"The benefit is that it helps our remote connections be as secure as possible, and being able to issue mobile devices increases productivity."
"If an end-user has an issue with a device, the administration has the ability to remote access the device after approval from the end-user."
"We decided to go with it and stick with it; it served the purpose in my previous organization and is also serving the purpose in this organization."
"The product is very stable."
"Sometimes, we face an issue and raise a ticket. The technical support team is fantastic and resolves the issue."
"When compared to other products, AirWatch is highly scalable, redundant, reliable, and easily manageable."

Cons

"There's a dependency on Microsoft Azure."
"The scalability may not be there."
"I'd like to see more networking features, such as the ability to integrate network monitoring solutions and authenticate the app users."
"SafeNet's reporting and monitoring features could be improved."
"From an identity perspective, there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to integration with other solutions. I would say it needs more capabilities in terms of direct integrations, including cloud identity solution integrations."
"In terms of pricing, this solution is definitely much more expensive compared to other solutions, like MobileIron or MaaS360 or any other product in the market."
"Pricing is a limitation. I think it's on the higher side, so if it were cheaper, it would benefit more organizations."
"I would like to see technology expense management integrated into the next release. This feature would allow us to manage expenses across various workloads and services, including cloud environments and computing resources."
"We have experienced some connectivity issues."
"The location service could improve and more integration with other devices, such as Android enterprise and Apple devices."
"Cost of licensing is quite high."
"The initial setup should be simplified."
