Security monitoring has provided full incident visibility and enables rapid threat remediation
For improving SonicWall Managed Detection and Response, it has to integrate some more EDRs, such as Trend Micro and multiple OEMs, such as Secure Right. They need to integrate that as well, and also integrate other firewalls such as Sophos and Palo Alto to enhance the MDR services. If there is any user who is using Palo Alto firewall and Trend Micro endpoint security, SonicWall Managed Detection and Response needs to manage that too, so SonicWall can also manage the same Palo Alto firewall and Trend Micro or Secure Right. In my experience with SonicWall Managed Detection and Response, it is functional, but they need to integrate such things to improve the MDR services.

Pros

"With MDR, when we purchase SonicWall Managed Detection and Response, we have visibility of our incidents and our malicious behavior traffic, and not only the visibility, they can also remediate that same thing."
"The important mechanism is the dilation of the desktop. It quarantines and removes threats from the network. Sometimes, security devices similar to firewalls are used. It also creates dynamic rules to protect against attacks. The security cross-synchronization is very important."
"The product’s most valuable feature is rapid response."
"The automated threat hunting feature and integration capabilities are valuable."
"It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution."
"Sophos MDR has positively impacted my organization by helping us significantly, leading to fewer incidents, faster response times, and less downtime for our team because the MDR team works around the clock, has the authority to quarantine malware, and handles everything on our Sophos Central portal with full visibility."
"The product’s most valuable feature is ease of use."
"Sophos MTR will stop the threat as it is happening. Intercept X, which is a part of it, has the ability to roll back, so the attack is undone. And then the advanced edition of MTR lets me handle the threat by talking on the phone. I don't have to deal with it. I don't have to just go through emails back and forth. We don't have to pay extra for Rapid Response services. If something is happening, they're right on top of it."
"My customers have seen a return on investment with Sophos MDR because it has stopped several real-time compromises, which would have had a significant financial impact."
