Centralized threat detection has improved incident response and now reduces alert fatigue
SecureWorks Taegis VDR's best features include unified detection and response, as it pulls in alerts and logs from all my different tools such as EDR, SIEM, firewall, cloud services, and Windows machines, collecting everything into one clean dashboard where I can view all these items and eliminate the need to hunt through ten dashboards to piece a threat together. I find it very easy to navigate and customize the dashboard to fit my team's needs once everything is set up, and it is very simple to view the dashboard after setup. Cloud and hybrid support is another valuable feature of SecureWorks Taegis VDR, as it supports on-premise and cloud workloads, managing endpoints and network traffic to provide centralized visibility regardless of where my assets live, whether in the cloud or on-premise. SecureWorks Taegis VDR has positively impacted my organization because of its ease of use. The positive impacts include faster incident response, as I can detect, investigate, and contain threats much faster because it shows the full attack path in one place with deeper analysis of everything, and it reduces alert fatigue by consolidating alerts into one or two high-confidence incidents, which improves analysis efficiency and morale.

Tenable Vulnerability Management agents are very lightweight, and the results we get are very accurate. The solutions they provide to us, assuming if one vulnerability exists, there will be a solution. The resolution they give us in wording will be the best solution. The exploit rates and the reports we get provide a lot of information, making it very easy for us to verify. The main benefit of integration with Tenable Vulnerability Management is that there will be no lack of missing vulnerabilities when it comes to the patching environment. That is one of the key aspects of why we have integrated Tenable to our patching tools. It has a vast capacity of pushing the data to our tools due to its capability and compatibility. That is also one of the reasons why we are using Tenable Vulnerability Management.

Pros

"SecureWorks Taegis VDR's best features include unified detection and response, as it pulls in alerts and logs from all my different tools such as EDR, SIEM, firewall, cloud services, and Windows machines, collecting everything into one clean dashboard where I can view all these items and eliminate the need to hunt through ten dashboards to piece a threat together."
"It is a one-stop solution for different needs with separate APIs. The product offers different solutions for different companies."
"I chose SecureWorks Taegis VDR because I trust SecureWorks, having worked with McAfee, Symantec, Trend Micro, Kaspersky, Carbon Black, Cylance, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, and more, and I would say SecureWorks Taegis VDR is outstanding among all the other vendors in terms of functionality, ease of access, and UI friendliness."
"The vulnerability scanning has been great as it's helped us to define some issues around the updates of some things, and some items surrounding services we need to take care of."
"The interface is fine."
"Tenable.io Vulnerability Management gives a good ROI in the long run, though it would be better with a pay-as-you-go model."
"The dashboard is pretty intuitive, and it lets you do a drill-down analysis of each vulnerability. That is something that brings a lot of value to the organization."
"It is easy to manage. Most of the information the tool provided helped to further investigate the vulnerability and its impact."
"The stability is commendable, and I would rate Tenable ten out of ten."
"It is quite straightforward to set up."
"The product has many features and continues to develop its capabilities at a rapid pace."

Cons

"There is always room for improvement in SecureWorks Taegis VDR, especially regarding user interface and navigation, as the platform is powerful but the UI can feel complex for new users."
"I would like to improve SecureWorks Taegis VDR by enhancing the dashboard to provide a holistic view with granular data."
"They need a better approach to support. When I have hard questions that need answers to, I prefer to jump to L3 support instead of getting pushed to L1."
"The reporting was never great in Tenable Vulnerability Management, so, in my company, we imported all the data into Ivanti RiskSense to start using it for reporting."
"I would not say very expensive for Tenable Vulnerability Management; it is not prohibitive, but at the same time, there are some other tools in the marketplace which are offering the same kind of services that Tenable offers, the same kind of features that Tenable has offered at a lesser cost."
"Tenable Vulnerability Management is not very effective for real-time risk prioritization for our organization's security strategy."
"The product could be easier to set up on the cloud."
"The only drawback of the solution is that it is expensive."
