The analytics were the most valuable part, although they returned a lot of false positives
It was not particularly user friendly in setting up the emails, managing the lists, or publishing reports. It also sent out a couple of emails between November and December twice. I don't know how you'd deal with the false positives thing, but certainly sending out emails more than once should be fixable, and a really good team of UI guys could probably make some headway with the difficulty in actually publishing reports and the like.

Dynamic templates have streamlined student and parent email campaigns and build consistent engagement
The activity log is a little slower at times, but that is probably just nitpicking an issue. Overall, in general, there are not really very difficult pain points. There are certain issues sometimes when we are trying to handle a very big campaign; we might end up having a little bit less reputation in terms of bounces or spam reports that get detected when we send out the emails. Apart from that, there is not anything that would become a significant pain point. If you don't really have an advanced subscription for SendGrid, it might take a while for you to reach the customer support.

"It is easy to set up."
"Overall, it provides a good return on investment through reliability, time savings, and improved communication."

Cons

"It was not particularly user friendly in setting up the emails, managing the lists, or publishing reports."

"So, don't think that you could do anything with SendGrid on email matters."
"The reporting part needs improvement."
"SendGrid has room for improvement in the UI/UX or dashboard usability for users. Another area for improvement in the tool is its conditional logic facilities. The response time of SendGrid technical support needs improvement."

"The contact limit alerts need to be improved."
"Maybe they could have a mobile application to give to admins, so they could see some insights related to the data."
