We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the ability to Drill down to webpage actions.""The availability of the solution is its most valuable aspect. I can also Google anything I want and upload it on the cloud. I can do that using the mobile app. It is very helpful.""The customers requires redundancy work to achieve a 99.999% uptime. To accomplish this, we installed this solution into storage. This setup ensures that if one node goes down, the system remains operational through another node. So that's the core aspect of the setup. Additionally, the schedule and the rental database run on servers, and behind these servers, we have storage. This storage operates as a single storage cluster, although there might be another storage option that costs around $30.""ORUEI lets you create a dashboard that shows you insight into the user experience."

"The sum solution, NTA, and DPA.""The reporting of the solution is very good.""Some of the most valuable features of SolarWinds are the topology discovery and network performance analysis.""I have found the most valuable feature is application performance management.""Technical support is always live and they're supportive.""The product has a great dashboard."

Cons
"There are instances of imitation, like with processors. As customers, we aim to develop this area, particularly focusing on the networking facility and connectivity. The challenge lies in the connection between the DC and MDR, which is quite distant. The link between them needs to be reliable. When direct fiber isn't available, they resort to using dark fiber, which can lead to some limitations. This situation presents another layer of complexity, requiring approximately 11 feet of additional infrastructure. This is essential for ensuring that applications have minimal latency. In the event of any issues, an account is set up for cache memory to ensure that the system remains operational and can recover data from the cache as needed. Additionally, I have a secondary aspect to consider.""The application resource usage has increased due to using RUEI.""It would be nice if the solution could be integrated with Outlook. If I'm signing any quotation, any proposal, or any of my communications, I should be able to update that Oracle application as well.""Currently, it monitors web applications well, but ORUEI doesn't monitor mobile applications yet. It would be nice if they also added the ability to monitor mobile apps."

"The integration with Unix services should be a bit more straightforward.""I would like to see more integration with other tools that are available on the market.""AppOptics would benefit from having a much more centralized view.""The implementation needs improvement. It needs to get modernized with the newer cloud scenario in both public and private deployment models.""In terms of the technology, I think they need to put some more advanced troubleshooting into SolarWinds, in terms of AI capabilities. That's the next generation, especially in the cases of APIs which have already adopted AI capabilities into their products.""The solution should be more user-friendly."

  • "Mostly, it's a perpetual license. We don't have any customers using the subscription right now—it's mostly a perpetual license that the customers purchase. The licensing is based on the number of elements, whereas other solutions are node-based."
  • "I believe the current licensing cost is reasonable."
  • "Since it's a negotiable rate, I would rate the pricing as a five out of five."
