We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Our customers have benefited from Omada Identity automating the certification process. Most of our customers were using manual methods for user access certification. With Omada Identity, you can automate almost all of it, which means that certification now becomes on demand. You don't have to wait for two or three months to execute a certification timeframe. Instead, you can do certifications as often as you want.""The best feature in Omada Identity is that it enables us to implement standardized employee life cycle processes so that we don't have to create them ourselves. We can then use the standard workflows. The breadth and scope of the solution’s IGA features also fulfill our requirements.""For me, the best feature of Omada Identity is its web interface because it's really easy for users to understand.""Omada's most valuable aspect is its usability.""Two valuable features of Omada Identity are the ability to discover accounts and link them to identities, and the automatic disabling of inactive accounts or identities.""It has a lot of out-of-the-box features. It is flexible, and there are a lot of possibilities to configure and extend it. It is user-friendly. It has an interface that is end-user or business-user friendly.""We are able to onboard new user accounts much faster by automating the process and standardizing our operations globally. Previously, there were many individual processes and manual admin interactions. We also see a lot of cost savings and benefits because through automation and standardization.""Omada offers a technical solution that addresses both our needs."

"The solution's ability to save and manage of all my passwords is great.""Simplicity is the most valuable part of OneLogin.""In my role, the most valuable features are two-factor authentication and self-service password reset. The most helpful feature for the institution as a whole is probably the single sign-on. As an IT director, I care about security and ease of use.""Ease of integration with AD.""It's super useful to have a single pane of glass when it comes to access management.""One aspect I particularly appreciate is their exceptional customer support whenever I've needed assistance.""OneLogin is efficient.""The most valuable feature is the ease with which we can manage the sign-on feature."

"Saviynt has a lot of potential with many features available for users.""It gives very good and in-depth knowledge about a particular identity. Everything is through a single click. We get to know the workflows related to a particular identity with a single click.""Saviynt has better integration with enterprise systems like SAP, Microsoft, Adobe, and AWS.""It's a highly functional system and a very well rounded solution. The onboarding of applications is solid. Their user access reviews are very good. Their role-based model and their identity life cycle stuff are solid. It's a very well rounded, strong product.""Considering the initial cost and the basic features, this is a good solution that provides integration with both on-premise and cloud applications.""It's easy to manage and easy to use; a simple tool for end-users.""It is a flexible tool because it works on JSON.""This product works well out of the box and if you don’t want to do a lot of configuration then this is the best tool."

Cons
"Omada's performance could be better because we had some latency issues. Still, it's difficult to say how much of that is due to Omada versus the resources used by our other vendors in our on-prem environment. Considering the resources we have invested into making it run well, it's slightly slower than we would expect.""It is not possible to customize reports on Omada Identity.""Omada Identity has a steep learning curve.""The account management integration isn't bad, but it isn't plug-and-play like Microsoft Azure. You need some deep development knowledge to set up the connectors.""When the re-certification process is launched that makes Omada very slow. There are performance issues in the current version.""Its flexibility is both a good thing and a bad thing. Because it is very flexible, it also becomes too complex. This is common for most of the products we evaluated. Its scalability should be better. It had a few scalability issues.""The comprehensiveness of Omada's out-of-the-box connectors for the applications we use could be better. We are getting a new HR system called Cornerstone for which they do not have an out-of-the-box connector, so we have to take the REST connector and play around with it.""If you find an error and you need it fixed, you have to upgrade. It's not like they say, "Okay, we'll fix this problem for you." You have to upgrade. The last time we upgraded, because there was an error in a previous version, we had to pay 150,000 Danish Krone (about $24,000 at the time of this review) to upgrade our systems... That means that we have to pay to get errors fixed that Omada has made in programming the system. I hope they change this way of looking at things."

More Omada Identity Cons →

"OneLogin needs to increase the number of connectors available out of the box to connect to the different endpoints. The number of out-of-box connectors should be increased.""OneLogin offers a Virtual LDAP feature that we utilize, although it differs slightly from traditional LDAP servers.""They have downtime twice a year or once in six months. During the downtime, the SSO page did not come up. When users wanted to get to their email, they were redirected to the OneLogin page, but the page did not come up, and MFA and logins failed. It completely crippled us.""In terms of managing the users on a large scale, it would be easier if they had some kind of user management portal.""We've been experiencing some pain points since the acquisition. For example, there have been some outages we didn't see previously, which are a big topic with my executive team. You have hundreds of applications relying on this service for login. If the service is unavailable, nobody can log into these applications.""I'd like OneLogin to have a customization section that displays the company's offerings, categorized by different topics.""The solution keeps going down for many hours, which impacts the entire company. You can't access any applications. OneLogin Desktop has a huge problem where it locks your computers and you need to reset the whole computer, which is pretty insane.""The tool must be made more robust."

More OneLogin by One Identity Cons →

"The solution does not work very well as the number of users increases.""The product's stability is not easy to maintain.""The custom application integration is a little complex, and this tool doesn't provide so many plugins or additional applications.""The tool is difficult to migrate.""Saviynt cannot customize based on customer needs.""According to feedback I've received, some users prefer SailPoint over Saviynt in real complex environments. SailPoint has its provisioning platform. Complex integrations may pose challenges in scenarios like a large bank with thousands of users, making SailPoint a preferred choice for some.""The biggest drawback is that for every change you want to make, you have to go back to them and ask for it.""It is time-consuming to troubleshoot issues."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is too high for SMBs."
  • "Omada continues to be very competitive on pricing, especially on the Omada cloud product."
  • "The initial total cost of ownership to implement Omada Identity is not small. The TCO for the implementation is as high as any other solution. However, the cost of maintaining the solution is at par or lower than competitors, including adding more features or maintaining the system after the initial deployment or installation to make sure that they are available for users to use or extending the functionalities of those activities. Those maintenance costs are lower than other vendors, but the initial cost of getting the system installed is still high."
  • "It is licensed per managed user per year."
  • "There were a lot of administrator, partner, and supplier accounts for people who were no longer working for us but still in the system. So, we reduced the number of users no longer with the company, which saved us some money on licensing."
  • "It's a fair price for the on-premises system. Compared with what we had before, it's much cheaper and we get all the modules in one. We tried to go with the cloud, but it was far too expensive."
  • "From an on-prem point of view, the cost is quite transparent and reasonable. The direct cost is primarily for licenses and maintenance on licenses."
  • "My client deals directly with the Omada Identity team in terms of licensing. I never look at pricing, so I'm not aware of how much the solution costs, but it's worth the money. Often, when you begin to use Omada Identity and it takes a while to set up, it'll be irreversible, and you'd depend on and focus more on the functionality of the solution, rather than its price tag."
  • More Omada Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
  • "The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
  • "The price of the licensing is fine."
  • "The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
  • "We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
  • "OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
  • "While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
  • "It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
  • More OneLogin by One Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "If you need to make any changes then there are additional fees."
  • "The price of the license for this product is quite expensive."
  • "We are not into the licensing part. The clients take care of the licensing part."
  • "Saviynt's pricing is acceptable and licensing costs are yearly."
  • "The product is less expensive than one of the competitors."
  • "Saviynt has a competitive price."
  • "If you are investing in securing your data and avoiding any non-compliance issues, then yes, it is certainly recommended. To put it plainly, if you're willing to pay fines and aren't concerned about the misuse of data, then there might not be a problem. However, if you intend to safeguard the data of your employees, vendors, and customers, it becomes crucial. In this context, managing data security requires preventive and detective measures, such as enforcing segregation of duties and regularly reviewing permissions. Throughout an individual's life cycle within an organization or customer life cycle, various access permissions are granted. Without taking action on these permissions, there is a risk of exposure later on. If individuals retain access after leaving the organization, it poses a serious security threat. Implementing solutions like Saviynt can address these challenges, ensuring continuous access review, generating reports, alerts, and identifying potential risks."
  • "Saviynt's pricing is reasonable."
