Centralized identity governance has automated lifecycle management and simplifies compliance
One Identity Manager could be improved by making the initial setup and configuration simpler, especially for complex workflows and integrations. The user interface and reporting dashboards could also be more modern and intuitive with better out-of-the-box analytics. Additionally, clearer documentation and faster implementation guidance would help organizations get value more quickly. One specific challenge my team encountered was the complexity during initial configuration, especially when setting up custom workflows and role models which required more time and expertise. We also felt that out-of-the-box reports and dashboards are limited, and more customizable real-time analytics would be helpful. Better documentation and guided setup wizards would make adoption easier, particularly for teams new to identity governance tools. One improvement I think One Identity Manager needs is the enhanced self-service experience. The end-user self-service portal could be more intuitive with clearer guidance for access requests and password resets. Additionally, while integrations are solid, deeper cloud-native connectors and API-driven automation would help in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. A more responsive mobile interface or dedicated app for approvals and tasks would help managers who are often on the go. One more improvement is the built-in predictive insights or trend dashboards around access patterns and risk could improve proactive governance. More descriptive error messages and in-tool troubleshooting tips during setup configuration would reduce dependency on external documentation or support.

Journey orchestration has improved fraud prevention but still needs shared rules and better usability
The main improvement needed is that with the tool, you have to build rules for each and every application. There is no common place where you can write the rules and use that rule for all your applications, which is missing. This is a big feature that is missing compared to the other products in the market. Additionally, the SDKs, Journey Player, and other components are not business-friendly, so you really have to be technical to get into it and do those things. A non-technical person would find it really hard to implement and learn things inside Transmit Security. Even though it requires less coding, you still have to have some technical people in your team to really write the rules and integrate those rules into your application.

"The solution is flexible. You can customize it a lot. You can can build connectors, connecting them to a new application, and so on."
"Provisioning users and permissions has been automated."
"The solution is flexible because you can realize the customer needs. Therefore, it is easy to upgrade specialized things. It provides the flexibly, so you can implement customers' use cases."
"We have seen a positive return on investment from using One Identity Manager, as it is a time-saver and money-saver solution."
"We are getting cost savings by automating system integrations."
"The best features of One Identity Manager are the synchronization project, the mapping, onboarding using CSV, and the designer tool which allows us to write our own custom workflows."
"Implementing One Identity Manager has completely eliminated the manual process, indirectly saving our organization's money and providing a clear return on investment through significantly reducing manual efforts for business reports and saving considerable time for the quality team."
"Transmit Security has positively impacted my organization by improving the development of workflows in order to help the user experience."
"Transmit Security has played a major role for our organization, especially in the authentication areas."
"Transmit interface is flexible and user-friendly, which is important for our workload. Switching from one authentication code to multiple exposure or two-factor authentication (MFA) is seamless."
"Transmit Security has impacted my organization positively because it is reassuring to know that we are building on top of a trusted tool, and we do not rely on developers that could make mistakes, and because it is an authentication platform, that could be detrimental."

Cons

"The performance could be better. I also think One Identity could improve its documentation for developers. Many of One Identity's features aren't fully documented. We don't have enough information on how to use them."
"A room for improvement in One Identity Manager is its analytics."
"They should offer more best practices and documentation for every functionality."
"Because their company is so focused on just their tool and related technology, they can't support you much. At times, it becomes frustrating. While you are paying a little less than your competitors, you expect some support, compliance, or expertise from the company. If a certain load balancer is unable to handle your tool, you should know what load balancer would be perfect or what configuration you should use."
"They have bad support. Sometimes, they're fast, and sometimes not. They have 24-hour support, so when you message them, they try to fix their problems. One Identity can give you a technical engineer who can guide you through what to do or give you custom scripts for a problem."
"The initial setup of One Identity Manager can be complex due to the requirements for infrastructure setup, database or server resources, IAM consultants for implementation, custom workflow development, connector configuration, testing, and migration work."
"End-user UI customization is difficult and requires some knowledge of proprietary Angular technology."
"Default connectors work fine, but certain connectors, such as SCIM to SAP Cloud Identity Services connector, have quite a few bugs."
"The customer support varies, but overall, we are satisfied."
"The main improvement needed is that with the tool, you have to build rules for each and every application."
"The scalability of Transmit Security is a little bit tricky. It is not easy to scale and depends on the complexity of my workflows and how many users I am going to support."
"Pricing is an area where Transmit Security could improve. The pricing needs to be more competitive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"My clients have been using it for a long time now. They have looked at other products as well, so it seems worth the price."
"From a cost perspective, One Identity has the biggest bang for the buck."
"The pricing is reasonable compared to other solutions."
"One Identity Manager's pricing is competitive and in line with what other companies offer."
"It was okay for us. It was not too much for us. It was nearly the same as other products. It was not expensive."
"You get a lot of bang for your buck with One Identity. It has many features that are included in the standard IGA license. Most people who are considering buying One Identity don't understand how much power is behind it in engines."
"We have the premium support and are very satisfied. They are always answer our questions very quickly. For the moment, we are very satisfied, but I think it's because we are paying for the premium support."
"Prices in Turkey are high due to inflation, a challenge we've heard about from our customers."
