Room For Improvement

NetVault Plus requires improved restore speed, user interface, compatibility, scheduling, security, database support, performance, and development interaction.
Veeam Data Platform needs better physical server support, cost optimization, and enhanced integration with storage, cloud, and user features.
There is also a need for better security measures, as security is critical to ensure backups are safe and free from malware.
Improvements should come, particularly in compatibility, backup performance, or better troubleshooting.
NetVault Plus doesn't have a support team in my country; having a local contact in Turkey would be very useful for us.
Compared to IBM, Veeam Data Platform is simpler but brings some challenges with automation in backup and Oracle backup configuration.
Additional features expected in the next release to make it even better, most parts are on the way, and the AI integration should be improved.
Reducing it by 20% would make it more accessible to a broader range of customers.

Setup Cost

NetVault Plus pricing varies; it's seen as costly or affordable, offering flexible licensing and potential discounts for multiple purchases.
Veeam Data Platform is competitively priced, offers straightforward licensing, and is valued for extensive features and ease of management.
The pricing is not expensive, rated around a four in terms of cost.
I believe it is not expensive; it's the regular price.
Veeam Data Platform is more expensive than OpenStack because we pay for it in US dollars, while we pay for OpenStack in Egyptian pounds.
A reduction of 20% in the current cost would make the solution more attractive to clients.

Has supported reliable file backup operations and maintained compliance with local data policies
The strong point for me is the tape record feature. The backup and recovery capabilities of NetVault Plus are very important for maintaining my business. There's no positive impact that NetVault Plus has brought to my company; I mean, there's no particular benefit I have seen from using it. It's just used in general, and another colleague specifically selected NetVault Plus without any problem in Turkey area; everything is good enough for me. But specifically, with NetVault Plus, I don't see any impact.
