We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I think the number one feature everybody likes is the capability to easily generate virtual users as well as the reporting.""Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise Is very user-friendly.""Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise supports a lot of technologies. The existing performance testing that this tool is capable of is good. The protocols that are available are widely varied when compared to other performance testing tools.""The user interface is fine.""The most valuable part of the product is the way you can scale the basic testing easily.""LoadRunner Enterprise's most valuable features are load simulation and creating correlation for parameters.""One of the most valuable features of this solution is recording and replaying, and the fact that there are multiple options available to do this.""The product is good, and the concept is good as well."

"It's great for the development of .NET.""It is very easy to use. You can handle a lot of things together at once in one package, which is a good point for us.""What I like most about Visual Studio Test Professional is the way people publish templates and publish integration.""It is a very common and strong product. A lot of support is available for this product.""Customization is the most powerful feature of this product.""The stability has always been very good.""The ability to quickly make your own components has been valuable.""Visual Studio is highly powerful. It's probably the best software development tool on the market."

Cons
"Micro Focus needs to improve in terms of support. With the same support plan but when the product was owned by HP, support was more responsive and better coordinated.""LoadRunner Enterprise's reporting should be quicker, easier, and more flexible.""Third-party product integrations could be a little more slickly handled.""I believe the data that demonstrates the automated correlations should be corrected.""The installation has not been straightforward, and we have had so many problems. We have had to re-install, try to install on a different machine, etc. We have not been able to launch the LRE server itself yet.""Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise needs to add more features for Citrix performance-based applications testing. This was one of the challenges we observed. Additionally, we experienced some APIs challenges.""It would be good if we could look forward at the future technology needs we have. I would like to see Micro Focus provide more customer awareness around how LoadRunner can fulfill requirements with Big Data use cases, for example, where you do performance testing at the scale of data lakes... when it comes to technologies our company has yet to adopt, I would like to see an indication from Micro Focus of how one does performance testing and what kinds of challenges can we foresee. Those kinds of studies would really help us.""It's not that popular on the cloud."

"Sometimes Visual Studio is slow. It uses a lot of resources like memory and processing power. You should optimize the performance by only installing what you need on your machine. Don't install unnecessary things that will slow your machine.""The documentation is limited.""One of the problems with this solution is you need to be highly technically skilled to operate it, it is not for everyone.""The solution is quite expensive.""It is not good in terms of performance. When you open Visual Studio, you have to wait for a while to process your code. It uses a lot of resources and has a lot of features. If we could disable some of the features, it would be lighter and faster to use. Nowadays, for some of the projects, we use VS Code for JavaScript or Python. VS Code is very light and easy to use, whereas, in Visual Studio, we have to wait because it takes time to compile or run a project. It has a lot of competitors in terms of performance, such as Intelligent ID. Intelligent ID is very easy to use. It has many features, and it is lighter to use than Visual Studio. In terms of error handling, sometimes, it shows an error before you finish your code, which can be improved. It would be good if it has a version for Linux. I use VS Code on Linux, but I am not sure if Visual Studio has a version for Linux.""There are too many features with the product and I would like there to be less.""It needs more integration with other tools for monitoring. Microsoft also needs to make it more modern to make it work with microservices and the cloud. It is a bit outdated currently.""The solution should be cheaper."
