Unified risk scoring has improved our cloud visibility and simplifies remediation priorities
Qualys TotalCloud provides unified vulnerability and threat assessment across both IAS and SaaS. This solution provides a single prioritized view of risk, which helps reduce the work I would have to do. We are no longer based on CVSS; we are based on Qualys risk scoring, which is based on CVSS plus internal findings made by Qualys, and then assigns its own score. The TruRisk insight feature has found a small number of assets with high vulnerability scores, though I am cautious since some information is classified. Qualys TotalCloud has positively impacted our bank's performance, and we have definitely seen benefits after implementing this solution.

Automated scanning has strengthened web application security and supports hybrid protection
A good scanning engine is what I appreciate about Invicti. When you want to find out the vulnerabilities within your web applications, Invicti has done a thorough job with respect to filtering out the vulnerabilities and identifying the risk factors with respect to the security modules within the solution. Invicti does have a segment of the solution which works on the automated scanning engine. As long as the license is active, the scanners that work within the solution are pretty effective. With respect to SAST and DAST, being a real-time scanning engine is one of the portfolios and one of the selling factors of the solution. Invicti is known to be a solution that works within the hybrid environment, be it cloud, on-premises, or a mix and match across multiple marketplaces. It does a thorough job. Most importantly, Invicti is a very good SAST and DAST solution that is very competitive in the market with respect to competitors. Invicti is a part of the Magic Quadrant with respect to Gartner's Magic Quadrant and has made a very good customer database and pipeline within the marketplace locally. With respect to security impacts in terms of support, Invicti is pretty much supportive. With respect to use cases or the POCs I have run on the solution, we have identified a couple of vulnerabilities and Invicti was able to trace them, detect, and quarantine the attacks.

Centralized cloud view has improved threat response and simplified compliance reporting
We are using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security for getting complete visibility of all the assets that exist within our cloud, and it helps us identify any sort of misconfigurations or fine-tuning that can be done to better our compliance. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security helps in onboarding all the cloud solutions or cloud providers that we have within our organization into a single dashboard, thereby providing greater visibility of all the assets. Earlier we used to have multiple dashboards to manage the same solution or capability, but with Trend Micro, we are able to get everything in a single pane of glass, benefiting our operations significantly. We are using the playbooks built into Trend Vision One - Cloud Security, which help us take a lot of response actions and bring automation capabilities into play. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has positively impacted our organization by providing a single pane of glass visibility across all the cloud solutions that we have and reducing the number of threats we used to see earlier in the cloud. We are seeing that the number of cloud operations required earlier in terms of threat detection and response, and the time taken to detect a particular threat and take a response action, has considerably improved after onboarding Trend Micro.

Cons

"Enhancing clarity regarding its compliance capabilities would be beneficial, as the current scope is limited in geographic coverage."
"In TotalCloud, I would suggest improvements in policy checks to cater to various inventory types like VPCs, subnets, S3 buckets, or IAMs. There is a lack of data segregation according to criticality or inventory."
"Qualys TotalCloud has the potential to improve by integrating a hybrid platform for comprehensive management of both on-premises and cloud infrastructures."
"TotalCloud could improve the classification of vulnerabilities. Specifically, it could enhance the categorization of what aspects fall under patches resolved by OS or software updates and what pertains to configuration adjustments."
"Their customer support needs improvement."
"It is already perfect, but they can bring some newer dashboards and customization options for the dashboard. It would be great to be able to include on-prem assets on the dashboard."
"Qualys TotalCloud's increasing complexity, due to the development and deployment of multiple solutions, is making the GUI difficult to navigate."
"TotalCloud could improve its scanning of niche devices like Wi-Fi dongles and USB modems because they are often untested. It covers everything else, like laptops, mobile devices, and Bluetooth IoT devices. They can improve on the small IoT devices because hackers and testers use these."
"Asset scanning could be better. Once, it couldn't scan assets, and the issue was strange. The price doesn't fit the budget of small and medium-sized businesses."
"They don't really provide the proof of concept up to the level that we need in our organization."
"Improvement could be made in the area of production."
"Speed: It spends about one hour on scanning; I would like it to be less than 30 minutes."
"The scanning time, complexity, and authentication features of Invicti could be improved."
"They could enhance the support for data swap testing for the platform."
"Invicti's reporting capabilities need enhancement. We need enterprise-level information instead of repo-level details. Unlike Appiro, Invicti does not provide portfolio-level insights into vulnerability remediation over time."
"They need to improve their support in the documentation. Their support mechanism is missing. Their responsiveness, technical staff, and these types of things need to be improved, and comprehensive documentation is required. They should have good self-service portal enhancement"
"Trend Vision One - Cloud security aims to protect our assets, but the rapid spread of viruses and vulnerabilities through malicious emails remains a significant concern."
"Trend Vision One - Cloud Security could improve connections with different types of authentication and user groups concerning cloud services."
"The local agent should be able to show more logs. At present, the logs are only available from the web console and not from the local agent."
"Trend Vision One - Cloud Security seems to have a preference for AWS Cloud over Azure and would be improved by focusing equally on both."
"Trend Vision One - Cloud Security should address threats automatically without having user input."
"I'd like to see mobile licenses included in the main license, similar to Kaspersky's model for future features."
"The product could use a little bit of automation."
"The initial setup is easy for someone who operates container platforms on a daily basis. However, it could be difficult for those coming purely from informational security or another field of an IT."
