Offers advanced filtering features and benefits from improved licensing and performance
There is a licensing issue with Intercept X Endpoint. Their licenses are user-based. Most of our customers use per device licenses, and they need per device licenses because they use one PC for multiple accounts. This creates a problem. There was one customer who complained about the slowness of PCs using Intercept X Endpoint. They use minor performance PCs, which causes their PCs to become slow.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The client isolation feature is a very effective feature."
"The stability on offer is fine."
"The thing that I like about it is the synchronized security. You can tie endpoint protection and firewalls and a whole range of other services and products. You can get your servers taken in under this."
"The anti-exploit technology within Intercept X Endpoint is excellent."
"The solution is scalable."
"I like the way it goes beyond the office space. Being a cloud-based solution makes it very easy to manage your endpoints within the office. In this time of COVID, you can also very effectively manage people who are working from home."
"The initial setup is simple."
"The solution has very good usability."
"It contributes to our system's robust event detection and analysis, enabling us to respond effectively to incidents."
"Trellix XDR is an excellent solution that is continually improving."
"The analytics assessment and flexibility of the platform are valuable."

Cons

"Pricing is high."
"The customer service and support could be improved in regards to response time. It could be faster."
"The graphical interface could improve. Additionally, adding less expensive mobile device support would be helpful. Other solutions have this feature."
"Intercept X could enhance its support services, particularly in terms of response time and resource allocation."
"The cloud management console could be a little more user-friendly."
"Intercept X Endpoint sometimes slows down machines due to high CPU utilization and significant RAM consumption during scanning."
"The deployment part needs to be improved."
"It would be better if it can automatically generate a report for each and every user so that the users get to know the things that shouldn't be accessed from their PCs. It can have information about malicious and non-malicious sites so users are aware of them, and they don't access malicious websites. Such reports can be generated at the end of the day. We should also be able to get through to their support team quickly. Currently, it takes more than half an hour to get through to a technical person."
"Technical support is crucial, especially when facing critical issues. It's rated six out of ten. Improvements are needed in the support sector, with a focus on providing expert assistance during production periods."
"The EdgeGear solution is an area that requires attention, specifically regarding AI solutions and intelligence features."
"The platform should enhance compatibility with all other SIEM solutions."
