Room For Improvement

IBM Security QRadar requires enhanced UI, integration, and AI, as it's complex, costly, and has suboptimal support and dashboard features.
LogRhythm SIEM needs better third-party integration, ease of use, performance enhancements, superior support, and improved scalability and cloud integration.
Trellix Helix Connect requires enhancements in interface, integration, support, and pricing, despite praise for its AI capabilities.
We receive logs from different types of devices and need a way to correlate them effectively.
If AI-related support can suggest rules and integrate with existing security devices like MD, IPS, this SIM can create more relevant rules.
Improving the integration with IBM Server for MetaMask for correlation rules would be beneficial.
A more user-friendly user interface with drag-and-drop features, similar to key competitors like Splunk, would be beneficial.
We have just released the solutions to the market recently, making it a revolution in the cybersecurity sector.

Setup Cost

IBM Security QRadar is a high-cost SIEM solution ideal for large enterprises, offering strong features and negotiable pricing.
LogRhythm SIEM offers competitive, transparent pricing with flexible licensing and premium enterprise features, justifying its higher cost.
Trellix Helix Connect is costly but valued for comprehensive security, especially for large enterprises and bundled solutions.
The license cost is around $10 per MPS.
It is not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive solution.

Real-time incident detection and user-friendly dashboard benefit daily operations
There are many types of AI, and this AI is very limited in SQL and features. There may be potential for improvement. So far, it seems very limited. It shows some good features in the correlation part, but I think there is room for improvement. For instance, when creating rules, it can suggest more rules, reducing the effort needed. If AI-related support can suggest rules and integrate with existing security devices like MD, IPS, this SIM can create more relevant rules. Sometimes logs I receive don't mean anything, and I need technical stakeholders to share or forward logs, but these are sometimes inadequate. Keywords can help identify insufficient logs. I often lack time to verify logs. Sharing false positive results could be reduced to help my team.

User-friendly dashboard and machine learning capabilities improve threat hunting efficiency
LogRhythm SIEM has strong machine-learning capabilities with behavioral rules and analysis. The seamless integration for case management, along with a user-friendly dashboard user interface, makes tasks like threat hunting more efficient. Analytics and behavioral analysis help me save time with rule creation. Its scalability allows me to add components as needed. Overall, LogRhythm SIEM offers end-to-end visibility with a reasonable price.

You can use it for everything, incident response, automated responses, alerts, visibility
I would give the product an overall rating of eight out of 10. We have 10 people currently using this software. Six are on the list, plus two managers and two IR experts. It's not possible for just one person to maintain the solution, and it's not really allowed. It has to be a team effort, with two or three people. It's not about users. Helix works differently, collecting logs from 6,000 different sources integrated with the solution. The licensing is not based on users; it's based on APIs. It's more of a SIEM SGL type of platform. It collects logs from around 6,000. But have around 10 people maintaining that.
