We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.

"The solution has plenty of features compared to other solutions.""Software testing tool that has multiple features. It's good to use for SAP testing, and it helps reduce test execution time.""What I find valuable is that Tricentis is always refining the test methodology. They listen to feedback from the analysts about what the testing tool should do, and then Tricentis always implements it. So all the necessary testing functions are already implemented in their tools.""The low code is the best feature.""The most valuable features of Tricentis Tosca are the ease of use, you do not need to program if you do not want to.""The automation engine is very strong, and it is very competitive in the market in terms of features. They develop a lot of features.""The mainframe testing and UI automation are the most valuable aspects of the solution.""The most valuable feature is being able to create a test case by recording some scenarios and then leasing that task case to other scenarios."

Cons
"I think it could be more secure. I don't have experience with the security aspects concerning PII data, but I think it can still be streamlined a little more. It could also have some more features, and the initial setup could be more straightforward."

More IBM InfoSphere Optim Test Data Management (TDM) Cons →

"Their license management should be improved. One of our customers is a global customer. They want to use one licensed server and then split the licenses based on the different users of the different business units, but currently, there is only one license server that everybody can access. There is no control, and that's why sometimes congestion can happen.""A disadvantage of Tricentis Tosca is that you have to customize it according to your need, during the early stages of the software, particularly during upstream testing, before system and unit testing.""What needs to be improved in Tricentis Tosca is its centralized repository mechanism because it's not as flexible. The repository in the solution where you store the data and the script for test automation is quite an old-fashioned mechanism that could be improved.""Primarily I'm dealing with customers looking for a cheap solution, and they are willing to try open-source automation solutions. So from this perspective, the price of Tosca is not as competitive.""One thing to improve in Tricentis Tosca is that it's not compatible with Excel based forms. Another area for improvement is that the tool is not compatible with OpenText applications. The support and licensing cost for it also need improvement. The tool also needs cloud support, as it's currently on-premises only.""Many times when we have raised a ticket, we did not get an urgent response.""It requires some coding customization that requires expertise.""While the initial setup was straightforward, we required assistance with the configuration to ensure that everything was done correctly."
