Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Effortless policy management with built-in simplicity that enhances user experience
I work in kiosk delivery for my users' laptops and cellular phones It's very easy to use. It's very comfortable to work on Hexnode since its form and usage are very simple. The support is only available in English right now, which is a bit of a problem for my users since they would prefer…

A budget-friendly solution that can be used to manage all types of devices, including Windows, iOS, Mac, and Android
SOTI MobiControl is deployed on the cloud in our organization. Users can go for this solution if they want a budget MDM solution. You can use SOTI MobiControl to manage all your devices in one platform, like Windows, iOS, Mac, and Android. Overall, I rate SOTI MobiControl an eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"For Windows services, there are multiple options within Intune to modernize it to be more internet-facing and dynamic."
"The solution is scalable. We currently have tens of thousands of users within our organization using the solution."
"There are no complaints about the stability. It works one hundred percent of the time."
"The solution has reduced the risk of security breaches by 30%."
"While Microsoft Intune boasts a wide range of features, its user-friendliness and bundled licensing cost are key considerations for me."
"The features I found most valuable in Intune are its user visibility and troubleshooting options."
"The stability is good."
"There are many features in Microsoft Intune. For personal mobile devices, MDM is what I most prefer."
"It's very easy to use."
"The agility is impressive, and it's simple to manage."
"It helps in enrolling, managing, and relocating the devices quickly."
"We use the Lockdown Kiosk Mode feature on all of our devices. We use that so that the operators can't change any settings in the background, and so that the applications they run are immediately available to them. It's a good feature."
"Among the valuable features are managing configurations of all devices and being able to remote into devices... We send out configurations for each site that has its devices. Each site has a different configuration, and SOTI manages each configuration for each site"
"We can do auto patch updates using SOTI. SOTI has been well placed in terms of the number of endpoints it can handle."
"The feature I find most valuable within Soti is the ability to reset or unlock a device. A lot of the devices that we use are in the field. We have locations in Dallas, San Diego, Seattle, Washington, and Phoenix, Arizona and there isn't always someone, within our company, who is managing these devices. Sometimes it's the doctors' offices that we partner with where they use these devices. Having the ability to remotely reset a device or unlock a device has been super-crucial for me."
"The most valuable features are remote control and geo-fencing."
"The licensing is simple."
"The most valuable features of the solution are containerization and app control."

Cons

"Although Intune is from the same provider, its integration with other Microsoft products, like Microsoft Defender or Microsoft Purview, could be improved."
"Microsoft Intune is not user-friendly to manage and has room for improvement."
"Intune's third-party patch management could be better. It should be easier for the average system admin to keep non-Microsoft applications updated."
"Installing software in Microsoft Intune can be challenging if it is not already prepackaged."
"Setting up Intune Autopilot can be a little complicated."
"Intune should improve its software inventory to provide better metering of which software is used throughout the company. This is especially needed for reporting third-party software solutions."
"It would be great to see on-premises mailboxes and for the solution to have geofencing capabilities."
"Lacking ability to leverage more iOS device management internally."
"The support is only available in English right now, which is a bit of a problem for my users since they would prefer Spanish support."
"The support is only available in English right now, which is a bit of a problem for my users since they would prefer Spanish support."
"Companies like SOTI and Mobile Iron are working with Google to help them manage these devices and eliminate the use of bar code scanner sales and mobile device sales. That's kind of crazy."
"They could organize the software a little bit better, where you access things on the console. It seems like I have to click in three different places in order to get it to go to one area. I should be able to access pretty much any point of the server, whatever I need to touch, from a panel, without having to go click on a menu, then click on the profiles, then click over on Server and go back up to the top and click on the type of device that I have, just to get my applications to show."
"The quality of the support service is poor. The headquarters are not very responsive. And, the actual quality of the software has its drawbacks."
"Its user interface needs to be improved."
"The management console could be improved to be a little bit more user-friendly. Some of the stuff is a little bit cumbersome, some of it feels like an engineering solution, but otherwise it's pretty good."
"It would be helpful if the product offered more integration and more features around the iOS and macOS platforms."
"Customer service is good, but sometimes it is challenging to reach them promptly during urgent situations."
"SOTI MobiControl is very good for Android and Windows, but it should add a little bit on the Apple side because it doesn't have much control on the Apple side."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Intune is cost-effective as it is included in some of the Office 365 packages."
"I don't have any problem as far as cost is concerned. It is bundled with our license."
"It's a bit expensive from a licensing perspective, especially as we look to have organizations with tenants across the globe."
"The product is expensive."
"While I can't provide insights from a business perspective, it's worth noting that the pricing may differ significantly, and the discount we received might not be reflective of standard business rates."
"The pricing needs improvement."
"The overall pricing of Microsoft Intune is good for companies that have big IT budgets, 3,000 or more users and devices."
"The price for Intune is fair."
Information not available
"Pricing is okay, but when you buy your renewal of licenses - at the end of the period or the year - if you have a lot of devices, obviously, it's going to increase. In the end, it's kind of expensive."
"It is an expensive product."
"The price is average. SOTI manages the price according to the type of client they have. I would rate the cost as five out of ten."
"We have annual licenses to use this solution."
"Its pricing policy is not stable. The licensing is on a one-yearly, two-yearly, or three-yearly basis. There is no monthly fee."
"It's a little bit expensive."
"SOTI MobiControl is a cheap solution."
"There are additional costs if you want to use extra features."
