Real-time collaboration has transformed daily team communication and shared document workflows
I think there are some issues like when I share any photo, it's working very slow and the other end partner receives it after a few seconds. It's time-consuming. I would prefer if any documents or files we share with Google Chat Workspace could be smoother, similar to Zoom. That is my preference for improvement.

Have streamlined daily workflow and task management but still face inconvenience from recent interface changes and limited integration options
There are challenges and issues in Microsoft Teams, such as after recent updates where group chats were combined with Teams, chats, and groups into one. Users have to work with settings to make it normal again so Teams are separated from chats, and that was a really inconvenient update. Many users ask me to help make it back again to separate Teams and groups from one-to-one chats. That's probably the worst update they've made recently. Additionally, there are some minor features, such as when I work with messages, I don't have an actual forward or quote option when replying to someone's message. I need to be careful not to miss the quote sign. For a lot of people, they are confused about where the quotes option is. I've received a couple of hundred support tickets just regarding this issue. The function to share email to Teams chat doesn't work sometimes due to our compliance policies, and sometimes it would be nice to be able to forward an email to the group chat and have further discussions. Microsoft Teams could improve by being less glitchy because it glitches a lot, leading to undelivered emails and undelivered messages. It would be beneficial if the MS application Shifts, which adds functionality to groups, could be integrated into the groups calendar. Currently, many teams don't use the app because it is not integrated with the general calendar or the Outlook calendar, making it basically a useless application. The platform needs less Copilot and more people. The general Copilot integration into the platform is less glitchy, but Microsoft Teams is quite heavy and glitchy sometimes. Stability depends a lot on compliance restrictions, policies, and quality of internet. Sometimes, when updates are enrolling, the platform glitches, breaks, or shuts down.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I am working with multiple users in the same sheet at the same time, which is really amazing for all of us because we are working from different places but in the same sheet at the same time."
"The conversation capabilities and document management are the solution's most valuable features."
"It's a very simple software that's very easy to understand."
"I am impressed with the solution's collaboration with Office 365."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Teams is that it is integrated with the Microsoft ecosystem."
"Now, several months and a pandemic since my original review, I'm happy to say that the product has improved with better performance and increased functionality."
"They are building out a lot of Office 365 apps and the integration with everything is great."
"Microsoft Teams is much more stable than other solutions like Skype for Business."
"We are using Teams to call people to set meetings, record meetings, share documents — all communication now goes through Teams."

Cons

"I think there are some issues like when I share any photo, it's working very slow and the other end partner receives it after a few seconds."
"Microsoft Teams should include better integration of the multi-viewer webinar-type system."
"Allowing you to participate in the conference to which you have been invited regardless of the platform on which it is hosted would be beneficial."
"Technical support could be improved."
"One time the product was basically freezing. I couldn't send a message to my colleague for some reason."
"I would rate the stability of Microsoft Teams as a six or seven, as there is a lot of audio drop in between, so it's not that stable."
"I don't like the online version of Word and Excel. It skews the layout. It is no longer representative of the layout that you actually have in a document. You always have to open it in the desktop application to get an accurate representation of how the document will look."
"The user interface could be improved, it's a bit tedious that you cannot move around within the solution without closing what you are in the middle of."
"I don't like the online version of Word and Excel. It skews the layout."
