Patch management and integration capabilities drive effective endpoint response management
We work with Kaspersky and two modalities: the Censi final and Censi license. Most of our clients work in financial areas and industry. Our regular enterprise business relies on these solutions Kaspersky is viable with ADR; the Endpoint Detection response feature and the BitLocker management…

Customization capabilities allow clients to autonomously deploy policies
There are a few areas where Trellix Endpoint Security ( /categories/endpoint-protection-platform-epp ) can improve. Firstly, the high CPU utilization when agents are installed can negatively impact client systems. Another issue is with end-users outside the network, where the agent handler sometimes fails to deploy the product properly. Improvements are needed in forensic analytics to detect specific vulnerabilities. It would also help if detection specifics were identified more quickly and the problem-solving process accelerated, especially to meet larger clients' expectations.

"The product is very easy to use."
"It is a scalable solution...It is a stable solution."
"The solution provides high-end security that is critical for financial institutions and bankers."
"The most valuable features are the prevention layer that detects the signature value and prevents threats in the network."
"The compatibility with a variety of laptops is our biggest advantage."
"The activation of features within ENS and the collection of threats into a single console is a strong point."
"The solution is a reliable and mature product. Its reporting function is robust, and the user interface is easy to use. End users can create customized reports with detailed reporting for any computer and export them in PDF or other formats. This reporting capability is very robust."
"The most valuable features are the adaptive tech on McAfee."
"I have not received any complaints about the performance."
"The most valuable feature is user-based policy provision."
"Automatic user recovery prior to Windows booting up."

Cons

"The solution lacks DLP."
"They could provide a source of visualization for the product."
"The prices can go down a little bit."
"The solution can improve by providing automatic fixing of vulnerabilities and reducing the resources used in the server component and endpoint agent. They are very bulky and use a lot of CPU, memory, and hard drive resources."
"They should include XDR features in the solution."
"The solution does not offer much support to its users in Spanish, so I would like to see them offer more support in Spanish."
"There is a problem with the solution, it came from Russia and we are looking for a replacement."
"I would like to integrate Kaspersky with my Log Collector SIEM. Right now that's not possible."
"There are more secure featured solutions from McAfee on the market but for smaller companies like ours, they are too expensive."
"The Linux support is very poor. I use base detection. Currently, they are providing malware protection and logon track features in Windows and Mac. These features aren't available in Linux. It will be helpful to extend these capabilities to Linux. We would also like assets grouping and device lock protection features, which are included in their roadmap."
"I would like to have the ability to have more control over the deployment in the next release. If you have this console in the cloud, you cannot make pilot groups for deploying the agents. We only have the current group. So, as soon as you inject the software, it will go directly into production, which doesn't work for us. We need to build up pilot groups slowly. We already requested to have this feature on the cloud, and we are still waiting."
"The product is not easy to use."
"Every time we open a ticket with McAfee, their response differs and they are not consistent."
"The VirusScan needs to improve in order to detect ransomware and other advanced threats."
"Its pricing needs to be improved."
"An area in need of improvement involves the overview, which usually does not enable one to get the value in reports."
