Efficient threat detection and seamless deployment improve overall security
The single panel console of CrowdStrike Falcon is very user-friendly, which is what we are looking for. Having multiple administrators between various offices with this single console gives us the ability to see all offices, branch offices, and partners, making it very useful to detect machines, identify machines, and check security risks. Everything in the single console is very useful. CrowdStrike Falcon has positively impacted our organization in terms of efficiency because it's very lightweight, easy to deploy, easy to manage, and works very efficiently. It quickly detects issues and doesn't have a signature-based system, so it works fast and takes immediate action.

Provides comprehensive threat insights but needs more defensive playbooks
For Trellix Insights, there are both positive and negative aspects. Playbooks is a very good feature. We have about 12 Playbooks, which are actions that we can implement for adjusting the infrastructure to stop threats and vulnerabilities. That's the positive aspect. However, for the defensive Playbooks, when connecting with Trellix Insights, we have only one defensive Playbook. Some customers question why there is only one. While Playbooks and defensive Playbooks serve similar purposes, in Trellix Insights, defensive Playbooks appear at the top. It would be beneficial to have more than just one defensive Playbook. Trellix Insights has existed for many years, and since this new product was released, there has only been one defensive Playbook. This is an area that needs improvement. They need to add more defensive Playbooks quickly, considering many years have passed.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Everything we've done with CrowdStrike is due to Arctic Wolf. We don't even need to get alerts from CrowdStrike anymore. It'll send those to Arctic Wolf, and then Arctic Wolf analyzes those and let us know if there's a major issue."
"Using this solution has reduced my need for imaging. We can mitigate the issue and address it immediately, for people both on and off of the network."
"It helps us to identify the threats according to the behavior of any process that is running on any particular system. It helps immensely to identify any malicious behavior on any endpoints."
"The automatic alert feature is the most important feature of the solution."
"The most valuable features are the complete IPS and IDS."
"The machine learning behavior for anomaly detection is a valuable feature. It helps identify any suspicious or unusual activities within the system."
"We receive good ROI when using this solution."
"The initial setup was straightforward."
"The most important benefit of Trellix Insights is its capability to integrate with EPO and provide comprehensive information."

Cons

"Whenever there is a feature release (upgrade) where we push to all the endpoints, it causes something to be blocked without us knowing."
"The UI is not efficient."
"They don't really have anything when it comes to scanning attachments."
"The product could be more accurate in terms of performance."
"A year and a half ago or more, if you put in a support request by email, then it wasn't timely addressed. It could be a day to three days before you received a response, which was a bit frustrating. There was a lot of customer feedback around this issue, which has been greatly refined."
"The KDR solution is immature. They do not have much preemption in ITDR. Threat prevention should be their first priority, and false positive reductions are needed."
"As the company has grown, the technical support has felt less personal."
"Not being able to complete the deployment in an efficient manner is one of the huge weaknesses."
"It would be beneficial to have more than just one defensive Playbook. Trellix Insights has existed for many years, and since this new product was released, there has only been one defensive Playbook."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing model is straightforward. We choose the features we want and we then can download the package we want."
"CrowdStrike Falcon can be more expensive than some competitors, and its base price doesn't cover every feature."
"When it comes to licensing, customers can choose a bundle or select licences based on the specific features they would like access to. This solution comes with premium pricing. It is approximately 20 to 30% more expensive than competing solutions."
"The price of CrowdStrike Falcon could be better. It is very expensive, we pay approximately $900 per month for the licenses. There are not any additional fees."
"The price is too high."
"CrowdStrike Falcon offers excellent value for the money for our organization, particularly given our lean IT team."
"The price of CrowdStrike Falcon is expensive and should be reduced."
"CrowdStrike Falcon is more expensive than other EDR solutions with similar features."
