Enterprise wireless has unified teams and has simplified global deployment and security
One thing I appreciate the most about Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points is that something absolutely stands out, especially about Cisco Wireless, which has made a huge impact on me personally, even though I have been a mentor in my company for a long time. The best thing about Cisco, which I experienced over 10 years, is that everybody knows it and everybody knows how to use it. If you look especially at the new series of Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points and their controllers, Cisco unified the GUI of the wireless controller with all their other GUIs that they have. They call it Magnetic UI, which they use nowadays on all their GUIs. Talent acquisition is just so easy because everybody in the IT networking field worked with any product of Cisco in their life, and all Cisco products fit so well together in an ecosystem and also have a very similar UI and are very easy to engage if you worked with anything from Cisco before. In my opinion, you save a lot on talent acquisition and also training people. Compared to other vendors I have worked with, you do not easily find people that have worked with their products or are experts in them. But especially with Cisco, there are so many people that have worked with it in the past, and you always have people that can implement, operate, and manage it. That is, in my case, the coolest thing about it. Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points has helped me to improve the interaction between my network, data center, and application teams. Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points can handle high-density environments with Wi-Fi 6, 6E, and 7. I have sold and operated Cisco Wireless in production areas and outdoor areas for automatic moving. I have a lot of high-ceiling models in use for logistics halls, for production environments with high ceilings and everything. Honestly, that is where they shine. They have some really cool models. The product variety is really great. For each and every use case, you can find a very specific model that does exactly what you want. I have a lot of the high-ceiling models in use which cover high-density areas where the clients are sometimes shielded, sometimes moving, sometimes moving very fast, and all those kinds of things. I am very happy with these environments with Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points.

Offers great control and visibility to users, along with availability on the cloud
The other solutions did not offer the visibility that Mojo Networks offered. During the rolling out of the installation process, you have to go through the on-premises model to be able to make some changes. If somebody needs to make necessary changes, you must go to the on-premises model with the initial product. With the cloud solution, you don't have to go for the on-premises model, as you can make the changes over the cloud. The stability offered by Mojo Networks is better than the other products available in the market since, with other tools, you need to keep restarting them frequently, and it may be required once or twice a day, especially if it is used as an enterprise solution or in an enterprise environment, where the traffic is too high, causing the build-up of a lot of cache memory, fill-ups, and SRAM, a reason why one will have to restart such products.

Pros

"What I appreciate about Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points is the convenience to operate them and install them across locations remotely or on-premise."
"Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points has positively impacted my organization, particularly in performance with throughput and the number of users connecting on a single AP initially."
"With the implementation of Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points, I can confirm that we had a significant improvement in our networking, bandwidth, and fast roaming."
"This solution has improved my ability to manage our network, check the overall health of our network, and secure it."
"What I appreciate most about Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points is the GUI part of the cloud wireless controller."
"Cisco is technically superior to competitors."
"There is not much in terms of potential improvement for Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points; the product is good on wireless."
"Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points have been very reliable and stable with no issues at all experienced with any of the access points."
"Security is top-notch with WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Prevention System)."
"The pricing was a good value and substantially less than some of the other products that we looked at, and in some cases, with some of the bigger names, this product was even close to half the price."
"For support, we do not have to deal with a whole phone menu tree. You get to talk to an engineer right away."
"The most important feature is ease of use. We can simply take an access point and plug it in, then it is automatically configured for us."
"Their Cognitive WiFi analytics (Mojo Aware) is the biggest feature on their dashboard. It helps us know where the problem, so we don't have to spend time with the customer diagnosing it."
"We can see what the network is being used for or where problems may be."
"Initial setup was straightforward."
"If you go with Mojo, you're not going to be sorry."

Cons

"Cisco is always expensive. In terms of pricing, it is very tough because I have lost many RFPs because of the pricing where Ruckus is much less expensive."
"I do not see support for advanced wireless technologies like Wi-Fi 6 and IoT applications."
"Theoretically, you can connect up to 100 clients simultaneously, but practically, this is not feasible. There will be bandwidth deterioration, and 100 clients using the same bandwidth will impact the quality of service."
"What I dislike about Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points is that controlling multiple APs is not centralized."
"The navigation tools of the GUI could be more user-intuitive in certain areas."
"However, over time, noise distortions have reduced AP performance to about thirty percent. Before, the throughput would be eighty to ninety percent, but now some APs behave like twenty to thirty percent with services unavailable."
"The initial configuration of Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points is somewhat complex, especially if someone is not familiar with the Cisco ecosystem."
"In Cisco Wireless 9100 Access Points solution, there is room for improvement, especially when I compare it in my thoughts with Meraki and Cisco, as well as the Aruba wireless solution."
"The implementation could be simplified. Right now it's a bit complex."
"The user interface could use improvement, and Mojo is working on it. The features and functions are in two different places, and they are in the process of moving them into one place."
"Technical support could be more helpful. They are lacking a bit in that regard."
"The distribution can be improved, particularly in this part of the world."
"My only complaint about this product is its availability. Not many people can stock it and ordering from overseas is a challenge."
"The price should be lowered. It is too high for our country."
"The customer service and support took a lot of time to come on the troubleshooting call."
"I would like to have a single pane of glass to better control the access point and the switching."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"There are other solutions, like Ubiquiti, that have lowered their prices, which sometimes makes the argument to go with them. However, we do not bake in the WiFi for other vendors into our managed services, because they do not meet our standard offering."
"It requires a license and that's a recurring cost and that has a really high cheque value."
"I rate the product's price as an eight on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"Pricing includes the planning tools, management, security, analytics, and advanced guest WiFi capabilities. It's always better to buy the longest term available for the best ROI. However, device will continue to function without valid cloud license."
"In Australian dollars, we buy it for five years at $1,200."
"The license is provided per access point, so you buy an access point and you use it."
"The price of the solution is too high for our country."
"Of every solution we looked at, every wireless solution, Mojo was a minimum of six figures cheaper. Minimum. Most of them were double, which again is unheard of. Not only do you get all the feature benefits, like everything is there, everything just works, but at the same time, it was a no-brainer, because of the cost. It's almost like you hit the lottery."
