Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Users only need to install the VPN and authenticate with their email address
I primarily use remote VPN solutions to connect securely. We have configured both site-to-site VPN and remote VPN, and it is connected to FortiClient Implementing this solution has streamlined time management in our organization. Without SSO, we would need manual configuration for each PC, but…

We're confident that Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security will either already know about new threats and have updated our machines, or they'll advise us quickly on mitigating them until an update is available."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."

"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."

Cons

"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security could improve the RDP, I have problems sometimes."
"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"Machines with low memory and CPU may experience slow performance."
"We had experienced a crash and had to reinstall it."
"I like the Application Control feature, but it's a bit tricky. Managing it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"One challenge we faced was with the installation."
"The connectivity could be improved."
"One area for improvement in FortiClient is the speed of connectivity."
"I would like to see improvements in the dashboard for better reporting."
"Technical support needs to determine priority level based on the cases rather than the support package bundle."
"While we like patch management, it would be nice if it could handle patch management for other solutions, like Microsoft."
"Occasionally, the solution may provide a slow connection. In addition, there may be initialization and authorization issues that one may need to take care of while using the solution."
"FortiClient needs improvement in restricting user information and ensuring more secure customer data to better protect source code and reduce the risk of security breaches."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"The pricing is a six out of ten."
"Fortinet requires you to buy a lot of product in order for you to have proper protection."
"It is not that expensive. It was within the range. A dollar per user per month is nothing."
"Fortinet FortiClient comes free with the purchase of the FortiGate solution. There is a license required for this solution. You later can upgrade from the free version which will allow more endpoints. The cost of the license subscription is based on how many endpoints you require."
"FortiClient is quite reasonably priced."
"I rate the product's pricing a seven out of ten."
"The solution's scalability is inexpensive."
"We are using the free version of this product."
