Search workflows have become faster and our team manages operational records more efficiently
Improvements for Amazon AWS CloudSearch can be made, but I will first start with the biggest improvement. The biggest improvement area is that Amazon AWS CloudSearch feels a little older compared to newer AWS services. The second thing about improvement is the documentation. The documentation could definitely be refreshed with more practical examples and troubleshooting scenarios. During setup, a few indexing issues took longer to diagnose because error messages were pretty generic. Better debugging visibility would reduce trial-and-error work. Monitoring is decent through Amazon CloudWatch, but I would like more detailed search-level diagnostics out of the box. Sometimes it is not obvious why certain queries rank results differently unless you manually test a lot. More transparent query analysis, indexing, and insights would be useful. Logging exists, but deeper visibility would help during optimization.

Daily orchestration of complex ai workflows has boosted my research and automation capabilities
Orchestration primarily decides which agent handles which part of a task and manages errors, retries, and complete state while maintaining the workflow effectively. On the orchestration side, branching, looping, and human approvals support non-linear workflows in production environments with real-time access. Through refined and improved prompts, this helps in closing the loop with actual users. One unique feature that stood out is that every step in the workflow can pause or recover from failures. Instead of finishing the entire agent in one go, this approach is interesting because if there is a minor change in a previously completed step regarding the state, I can re-edit and restart from the beginning. This is truly impressive.

"It is remarkably efficient and beneficial."
"Storage of photos and files which can be accessed anyplace, anytime, extremely quickly."
"The most valuable feature of Amazon AWS CloudSearch is the cloud aspect. I do not need to have the physical infrastructure, everything is in the cloud."
"Life became so easy when we started using Glean Platform."
"Glean Platform has increased productivity by at least one hundred hours per week for my organization."
"Glean Platform has positively impacted my organization by speeding up a lot of repetitive tasks and making it easier for people outside of support to understand what kind of issues impact the support groups."

"Productivity has really skyrocketed."
"Since I have joined, I have built around ninety agents with Glean Platform, and it has saved our organization around twenty-seven hours a week for each user, and it has also positively impacted our ARR."
"I have used many solutions, but Glean Platform is the best, and I would truly appreciate it if everyone considers this platform."
"The best features Glean Platform offers are mostly the view, which I think is very good, and what I find most helpful about the view is that the user interface is very good, making it very easy to chat with the chatbot and get all the material that I want in the way that I need it."

Cons

"The biggest improvement area is that Amazon AWS CloudSearch feels a little older compared to newer AWS services."
"AWS CloudSearch's documentation isn't very clear. Also, the on-premise version of the solution is less stable than the cloud version."
"The price of the solution can be expensive."
"We'd like to see more database features."
"The solution should improve the recovery aspects that it has on offer."
"Regarding the period of propagation on CDN servers, sometimes we update photos or files and we don't see the update instantly. We need to wait for sometime, which is quite boring because we may be setting up a marketing campaign which is related to the product's photo and we need to wait to start."
"Amazon's technical support needs to improve as they only solve about half our problems."
"Amazon AWS CloudSearch is highly stable. However, the speed depends on your internet connection."
"Currently, Glean Platform does not integrate with Teams, Microsoft-owned platforms."
"I tried pulling in an architecture diagram of a workflow, and it pulled in some other image instead."
"Also, the latency that the platform offers is a little high right now; what I have noticed is that on a particular query, the user has to wait a long time in order to get responses."
"Sometimes Glean Platform gets slowed down."
"There are multiple ways in which Glean Platform can be improved."
"Glean Platform can implement more models. The NLP creation could be a little faster, and while debugging is amazing, the routing also needs to provide higher quality outputs sometimes rather than extensive searching."
"In workflow agents, I would prefer that we do not use AI in every step and instead we have a toggle button or something which can configure whether AI should be used in this specific search field or not, or in this specific node or not, because currently it's using AI in all nodes which sometimes messes up the output."
"I chose seven out of ten because if I could upload PDFs and have them analyzed, or have it integrate with my Gmail and help me go through my emails, that would be very useful, but I do not think it does that."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In comparison to IBM and Microsoft, the pricing is more favorable."
"Amazon AWS CloudSearch charging is based on how many resources you consume or and the solution is known to be a bit expensive."
"There was no license needed to use this solution."
"Our license costs around $4,000 per month."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one point is cheap, and ten points are expensive, I rate the pricing as medium or reasonable."
"We chose AWS because of its cost and stability."
"I'm not sure how much we pay a year. It might be around $30,000 a year."
