Streamlined customer onboarding has reduced processing time from days to under an hour
There are several phenomenal features in Adobe Sign, and for me personally, the web forms feature is one of the best because it allows flexibility and the ability for signers to access the documents remotely without having to be sent a document for signature. All they need is a link or a QR code to the actual web form, which enables them to fill in and sign the document electronically on any device. The web forms feature has saved a lot of time and administration back and forth from a customer and supplier perspective. In general, it has added a whole level of efficiency for the organization as a whole. As mentioned with the customer registration document, Adobe Sign has greatly improved efficiency for the processing of customer registration documents. Previously, the process took potentially anything up to 10 working days, but with the current process in place, it has been minimized down to less than 60 minutes.

Advanced management and seamless integration improve document workflows
The IAM tool they are providing is good, but there should be flexibility in terms of importing IAM or AI generation reviews into the normal workflows while generating documents and creating templates. DocuSign still needs to offer more built-in integration tools such as the Coupa connector. They already have many integrations, such as Google Docs and Google Drive, but some major ones are still in the pipeline. Scalability, in terms of the workflow structure and maintenance, needs improvement. If the workflow becomes heavy, the system slows down, requiring consultation with the team to get the workflow load relieved. System availability should see fewer crashes or server errors.

Centralized document governance has boosted collaboration and made knowledge sharing structured
SharePoint is a powerful platform, but there are a few areas where I think it could be improved, such as user experience. For new users, the interface and navigation can feel quite complex, specifically when working with multiple sites and document libraries. Another improvement would be search functionalities. While it is good sometimes, it does not always return the most relevant result unless a document is very well-structured and tagged. Also, initial setup and customizations can be time-consuming and may require technical expertise, specifically when configuring workflows or permissions. From a modern development perspective, tighter and more seamless integrations with tools including Power Automate and better support for custom backend integrations through APIs could make it more efficient. Overall, simplifying usability and enhancing search and integration capability would make SharePoint even stronger. One additional area I would appreciate improvement would be performance and responsiveness, especially when dealing with a large document library. Sometimes loading or navigating through large datasets can feel quite slow. Another aspect is permissions management. While it is very powerful, it can become complex to manage at scale, specifically when there are multiple levels of access across teams and projects. Improving developer experience would also be beneficial. Making customization, API integrations, and extensions more straightforward would help teams, especially backend developers, leverage SharePoint more efficiently.

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Regarding the most valuable feature of the solution, I would say that it is easy to use."
"Previously, the process took potentially anything up to 10 working days, but with the current process in place, it has been minimized down to less than 60 minutes."
"I would recommend this solution to other people. It is an easy-to-use solution and one of the best."
"I give the stability a ten out of ten."
"The most valuable aspect of Adobe Sign is not a single feature, but rather a combination of features. From a broad perspective, the failover system is particularly noteworthy. In the event that Adobe Sign experiences downtime, there are backup measures in place through Amazon AWS that ensure continuity. For instance, if one region experiences an outage, another region can take over seamlessly, which is a significant advantage."
"The ability to sign digitally is very convenient."
"Adobe Sign is highly reliable and offers additional features such as 25-year retention filters and audit capabilities."
"I adore using Adobe Sign since it feels intuitive and user-friendly. Its organic design makes it effortless to navigate, so even if you lack experience with Adobe software, you can quickly learn and use it accurately."
"The most valuable feature of DocuSign is its ability to save time."
"I appreciate that I can see when they've viewed the document, when they've signed the document, and the status of the document, which is probably my favorite feature in DocuSign."
"DocuSign is easy to use. I also like the document tracking features."
"DocuSign is currently able to cater to almost 95% of user needs in terms of contractual documents, propagation, storage, signature process, and additional requirements."
"This has reduced the need for paper approvals and has also reduced the recurring purchase of paper rims and other printer consumables in the organization and is leading us to our paperless roadmap."
"We can structure the signature."
"The solution is reasonably priced."
"This speeds up the sign-off process."
"It offers ease of use, which is crucial."
"The solution is easy to use."
"Sharing information is very easy in SharePoint. We use multiple types of documents, like online Excel tools and online content editing, especially for group editing. This allows us to collaborate, even in distributed teams. Despite being geographically spread out, everyone can access the same files online, edit them, and see changes. We also use SharePoint to track all these changes, making our teamwork more collaborative overall. The tool fastens information sharing and collaboration."
"Outstanding support on SharePoint, in particular from Microsoft."
"The latest versions of SharePoint are highly useful for configuring pages for managing and conveying large amounts of information, while giving users the ability to pinpoint the specific things they need with speed and accuracy."
"Office 365 SharePoint is a powerful and great tool, as long as your libraries’ content is limited in terms of the number of files."
"Its functionality is enormous."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to easily build intranet sites for communicating within teams, storing documentation, product information, pricing policies, updates on product infrastructure, and other related news."

Cons

"One limitation of Adobe Sign is the restriction of adding only one email address for an Adobe Sign account. This can cause issues at times because Adobe Sign does not permit multiple signed accounts with the same email address."
"I think that the performance could be better and so could the auto-updates when filling in new columns and information."
"The support could improve in Adobe Sign."
"It works. I have no notes for improvement."
"It is hard to keep up with continuous improvements."
"The UI has room for improvement."
"The price of the solution could improve for certain plans."
"Last year we were informed that the integration between SharePoint and Adobe Sign was expiring in July 2024, prompting us to create a Power Automate flow to automate agreements in Adobe Sign using Power App and Power Automate flow inbuilt with the SharePoint site."
"Some people are not that computer-literate, and people don't understand the concept of the digital signature."
"Resolution from customer service and their response rate in resolving issues needs to be improved."
"I could always use better security around the solution."
"Resolution from customer service and their response rate in resolving issues needs to be improved."
"Moving the boxes around can be a bit annoying, so the AI element in the UI should be significantly improved to make the process smoother."
"We'd like to have some integration with some of our IT services."
"It should automatically be datestamped beside the signature."
"The support is not accessible sometimes to African businesses."
"Submitting document changes function needs to be improved."
"Flexibility and extensibility, above everything, could be improved."
"File recovery is not made simple."
"No good process to import emails from several users into a single comprehensive SP repository."
"The workflow engine cannot support the business needs."
"The navigation is confusing."
"Using SharePoint is difficult."
"It has its limitations. We are unable to use this tool to "archive" data and run queries to generate hindsight information."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"One area where there is room for improvement is the pricing of the entry-level plans. If you have minimal requirements for electronic signatures, the initial plans may not be suitable for SMBs as they may appear expensive. However, once you start using Adobe Sign, you can see a positive return on investment. Nonetheless, the pricing of the entry-level plans could be improved to cater to businesses with lower signing needs."
"The free edition allows us to use the signature feature."
"Adobe Sign is not expensive, but it is premium-priced based on the specific features required. The value you get from the numerous features and free unlimited support, including expert advice, is worth considering when looking for value for money. Unlike licensed components, when you purchase Adobe Sign, you're not just buying support; hence, you won't be faced with any unexpected licensing costs for additional support."
"As of now, there are no monthly expenses involved in the solution."
"The tool is expensive."
"It comes bundled with the Microsoft 365 pricing plans."
"Licensing can be by server or by seat."
"We have purchased add-ons to handle multiple site collections, form creation, and design."
"The platform has medium pricing."
"The pricing is competitive."
"The data classification and search elements are cheap."
"The cost is expensive, but worthwhile."
"They are about an eight in comparison to other similar products."
