Stable product but hard to integrate
Adobe Connect is not bad for connecting and integrating for remote connecting and video streaming. I think it was not bad, actually.  I don't integrate it in my project. Some other guys work on that. But I think they had some sort of problems with integration with that product. But, they managed to…

Simple to set up, reasonable pricing, and useful remote control capabilities
I'm on the latest version of the solution. I just updated it yesterday. While we have the solution on-premises at this time, we'll likely move to the cloud later this year. They have a trial version that you can try. They have a free version that you can try as well. I use it myself to support my family. I would try the free version or the trial version depending on your business. They can set you up and you can get to see all the features. I would also advocate going to the cloud version. Don't bother with the on-prem. It's just easier to jump to the cloud. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Screen share and document share are good features."
"The product has valuable communication features. It also has good performance and stability."
"The most critical feature is the POA, but Breakout sessions are definitely my favorite."
"It trains providers for on-premise deployment in several locations."
"It is straightforward to set up."
"I like Adobe Connect because of its flexibility."
"The solution can scale well."
"It is a stable product."
"Unattended access is the most important feature."
"Being able to flip quickly between however many monitors that I have running, detune the video for black and white, or with fewer colors to make it faster, is amazing."
"The product is really easy to deploy."
"I do love the monitoring page. If you are using ConnectWise Control, which is the on-prem version, when you are logged into the admin panel, there is a status page that checks network connectivity, the status of the license, and so on."
"The initial setup is fairly straightforward."
"Control lets us do remote management of machines without having to be on the VPN. It's super simple and super easy."
"Remote connect via webpage. I use it to support employees when I am not in the office or when they are at a remote location."
"The ConnectWise ScreenConnect tool is very good for remote access."

Cons

"Other solutions have more marketing and more visibility. Nobody knows Adobe Connect exists."
"It needs faster and easier upgrades."
"We encounter issues while connecting headphones via Bluetooth. This particular area needs improvement."
"Adobe's products are difficult to grasp."
"The price is a problem."
"Interface and layout options could be improved."
"I would like to see btter integration."
"We would like to see support for exportable files that have been uploaded into Adobe Connect as templates for activities."
"What we need this product to do is to be able to control Windows Updates. LogMeIn Central allowed us remote access but also allowed to push and install Windows Updates, and third-party updates... When we made the switch to ConnectWise we lost the ability to do patching. That forced us, for our larger clients, to move to WSUS. We had to set up a VM on those larger clients to push Windows Updates and patches into the network."
"We have had issues. We have had circumstances, for reasons we don't know, where the service will stop running, and when the service stops running that computer no longer becomes reachable. We haven't really seen that so much on desktops, but we have seen that happen quite frequently on server operating systems, Server 2008, Server 2012. You can install the product and then a week down the road it will just stop."
"Reporting could definitely use improvement. With LogMeIn Rescue, I used to be able to, for instance, at the end of the month, pull off a report of every session. It was very simple... I could see the name that was typed in, the IP address to the computer that it was connected to, if it was running Windows... It just doesn't seem - there might be but I haven't found it - to be a way of pulling that information out of ConnectWise."
"Speed is a major factor in Automate, and the control panel is horribly slow."
"I really didn't care for the onboarding process and it is something that should be improved."
"I was not thrilled with their support. I do not have a lot of time to deal with the attention which is needed to fix issues."
"Mobile interface."
"They could provide a toolbox for the plan I'm on."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Adobe Connect is free of cost."
"The purchasing process is complicated. It would be beneficial if it were more simplified."
"It is expensive."
"Their licensing model is good, their pricing model is good, their service is good; bandwidth is excellent. They're consistent."
"Pricing is fair for Control and the licensing is simple."
"The cloud version is relatively inexpensive, but the on-premise version is expensive if you do not need three technicians, only one or two for concurrent sessions."
"I think the product's pricing is a good value. I paid $600 a year and that was fine for me. It was about $50 a month. Licensing is all very straightforward."
"ConnectWise Control is not an overly expensive tool. Its pricing is reasonable."
"We pay $85 per month for each user for a ConnectWise package with multiple solutions."
"Good price and works well."
"We pay an annual licensing fee."
