Hitachi Content Platform is an object storage solution that enables IT organizations and cloud service providers to store, share, sync, protect, preserve, analyze and retrieve file data from a single system. It is more efficient, easier to use, and capable of handling much more data than traditional file storage solutions. HCP automates day-to-day IT operations like data protection and readily evolves to changes in scale, scope, applications, storage, server and cloud technologies over the life of data. In IT environements where data grows quickly or must live for years, decades or even indefinitely, these capabilities are invaluable.

| IT Manager at Synergy Computers | 3.0 | We proposed Hitachi Content Platform to clients, integrating it with existing systems for exploring new services. The main drawbacks are an unintuitive interface and complicated support. However, its integration resembles sharing with Google Drive, offering potential benefits. |
| Product Specialist at a tech services company with 1,001-5,000 employees | 4.0 | I use Hitachi Content Platform mainly for archiving in banking, replacing IBM technology. Its compatibility with different environments is valuable, but it needs better integration of storage protocols, as additional devices make implementation costly. |
| Sr Consultant at T- systems | 4.0 | The Hitachi Content Platform is great for efficient data management and easy server provisioning. However, it could benefit from enhanced compatibility and a more user-friendly GUI. I haven't used or considered other solutions or deployment providers. |
| IT Manager at Synergy Computers | 4.0 | I've used Hitachi Content Platform for 12 years. It's a strong, stable, and scalable product for large storage, but its high cost and difficult setup are concerns. I rate it 8/10, often preferring StorageGRID for better value and ease. |
| Engineer at Secretaria de Educacion del Gobierno del Estado de Mexico | 5.0 | In my experience, Hitachi Content Platform offers fast technology for storing various data types. However, software upgrades are complex and could be improved by simplifying the CLI command usage. Overall, I did not consider alternative solutions or providers. |
| Business Manager at TELCOMBAS SA | 4.5 | I value this solution for backup, praising its versioning and ransomware protection. While stable and scalable, integration and administration UX need improvement. Setup is moderate, and careful integration planning is crucial. |
| Engineer at Innovo | 4.0 | I've used Hitachi Content Platform for over seven years; it's stable, reliable, and scalable, but complex to implement and expensive. While the support is good, critical applications demand deep expertise for design, which I rated eight out of ten. |
| Sales Manager at Storageone | 3.5 | As a reseller, I find Hitachi Content Platform excellent for backup throughput, with great immutability, stability, and scalability. However, I believe it has high pricing, poor regional support, and needs more cloud integration. |
