We use Microsoft 365. We use GTB Technologies Inspector as a CASB solution to protect us from any data leakage in Microsoft 365. We can monitor the network all the time to see all the data that is removed.
The monitoring features are valuable. The tool enables us to monitor our network all the time. It also provides reverse proxy features. The prevention of data leakage from my network is the most important feature for me. The real-time data protection capabilities are very nice. If somebody is trying to send some information outside of the company, it's very important to have immediate data detection and reaction.
The tool should include better AI features. It must enable us to make some predictions based on the behavior of my network or the end users.
I have been using the solution for at least five years.
The product is stable. We have more than 99.99% stability.
I have customers with more than 2000 users. My company has around 25 users. We might increase the usage depending on the growth of our company.
The support team is responsive.
Positive
We used CoSoSys a long time ago. We switched to GTB Technologies Inspector because CoSoSys was a very bad solution.
The initial setup process is very simple and easy. We have no issues to do it for ourselves or our customers. The deployment takes less than 20 days. The integration is very simple. However, first, we must understand what we want to have on our network and what we want to prevent. If we don't have this information before we start the configuration, we will be lost.
We must know what kind of protection we need in our company. We have LGPD in Brazil. It is similar to GDPR in Europe. It prevents any personal information from being linked to other companies without permission. We have to take care of the personal information of our customers, employees, and partners.
To deploy the tool, we must understand what we need to do. We must download the whole package and have our infrastructure ready to receive it. We must get the SSL certification and start to configure our platform. When the process is finished, we must roll out a small portion of our network to ensure everything will be well. After that, we must do the full rollout.
The tool has a fair price. The product pays off. Customers start seeing the benefits of the solution in a few months. Sometimes, they see the benefit in a few days because they get to identify a lot of information that is being drafted out of their company.
The maintenance is easy. We are resellers and partners. We have technical people specialized in maintenance. The TCO is very low. Sometimes, we have to upgrade to keep the solution on the latest version, but it's easy.
We do not do much scaling. It is easy to do it, though. Inspector is a fully established model of GTB. We don't have much trouble to scale up. It's almost natural. We just have to increase the volume of storage required or improve the server to help the solution keep working.
Our customers pay us the implementation fee and for local support because GTB is a USA-based company. A majority of people in our region do not speak English, so the customer pays us for support. I will recommend the tool to others.
Overall, I rate the product a ten out of ten.

The solution is basically a DLP product. It helps customers protect data before it can leave the organization. It also helps classify data as well, which can be classified, for example, as sensitive, public, or confidential. The classification would be based on the context of the document. Those rules and policies can be run through the DLP to block certain documents from sharing or leaving the company.
If a company is sending or dealing with confidential data, it helps them protect it. The classifications in place are very helpful in making policies for ensuring sensitive data can be contained.
They need to improve the processing time. Sometimes the document is a little bit slow. The performance could be better.
I've used the solution for two to three years.
The stability is good. It's not that bad.
The solution is scalable.
We have three or four customers that have deployed the solution so far.
Technical support is good. I have not had any problems with support.
The initial setup is straightforward to setup. You simply deploy the agent to the server. That's it.
The time of the deployment depends on the size of the organization. If it is a big company, it might take a week. If the company is large, it might take a month.
The customer needs to decide what they want to do with the data. They need to have a clear understanding of the policies they want and strategies they want to implement, as well as what kinds of documents they need to classify and block.
It is available both on the cloud and on-premises.
Only need one person is needed for deployment and maintenance. The person does need to have a technical understanding of the product in order to deploy it.
I do not deal with pricing. I am on the technical side, not sales.
We resell the solution to customers.
If a customer wants to start using a DLP, they need to understand what they want to block or scan and what repositories they want to scan. They need a good understanding of their data.
I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.
We are in the implementation stage of GTB Technologies Inspector and we use it for inspecting our sensitive data between departments and third parties. It can be used as a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB).
We are in the monitoring stage, and gathering all the information. Then after one month, we are going to implement the blocking mode. It functions similar to a firewall because they have security policies and many configurations.
The most valuable feature is we can develop what we want. If we have an old or new requirement, they are able to support us to develop it all within one month. They are matching our all requirements for the Cloud and on-premise by providing customization. Additionally, there is an encryption method in the main endpoint where it can encrypt and decrypt in the flow. When the industry changes they are able to adapt and stay current with the features requeired.
The solution could improve by providing additional availability requirements.
I have been using GTB Technologies Inspector within the past 12 months.
The solution is stable but we could run into some difficulties when we move to the blocking stage.
The solution is easy to scale.
We bought the solution for 3,000 end users.
We have not needed to contact the technical support and have used our internal team. When we progress in our implementation we might run into difficulties that we will need to communicate with them.
The installation is easy, it runs on Windows and Linux systems. The implementation could be easier.
We used integrators and there were some communication errors with the requirements we needed.
We have one engineer that can handle most of the requirements. However, there are times we have to hire three to four engineers to handle the maintenance.
When comparing GTB Technologies Inspector to other solutions you receive a good value for your money when considering all the features and benefits.
We were able to sign a flexible licensing agreement. Other companies require a minimum number of licenses but with this solution licensing structure does not require it.
We have evaluated approximately six other solutions.
When comparing other products to GTB Technologies Inspector is the best solution for the financial sector.
I rate GTB Technologies Inspector an eight out of ten.

The product has an endpoint OCR, which other DLPs don't provide.
The product has a centralized console for everything. The centralized console is really good. The product’s dashboard is really good for creating customized reports.
The solution’s performance must be improved. Endpoint OCR affects the performance of the solution. Sometimes, the users are unable to send any emails.
I have been using the solution for a year.
Forcepoint DLP is more stable than GTB. Except for the performance, the servers, configuration, and features of GTB are really good.
The tool is scalable. Our customers are enterprise businesses.
Support is good.
Positive
Forcepoint’s support is really bad. We don't get support regularly. Forcepoint is more expensive than GTB.
The initial setup is easy because it is SaaS-based. The setup takes a few hours. One person is enough to set up the solution. GTB maintains the product. We only get URLs.
The tool is not expensive. Clients have to pay a yearly licensing fee. There are other costs associated with the product.
We sell the product to customers. GTB is a good solution because of the endpoint OCR. It provides OCR in all the channels. Other DLP solutions do not provide it. Overall, I rate the tool a nine out of ten.
We use the solution for the protection of sensitive data. It also helps us to monitor the cloud storage platforms like Google Cloud or Azure.
I am impressed with the tool's ease of deployment.
The product needs to improve its support so that users can just log in and create tickets as opposed to sending emails. Sending emails is difficult to track. It also needs to work on its analytics platform.
I have been working with the solution for the past two years.
I haven't seen any stability with the product.
The solution is very scalable. It can move from 50 users to 10,000 users with additional integrations.
The tool's setup is straightforward. For the deployment steps, you need to download the solution, do the IP configuration, and access the product by the console. You can then build and customize as needed.
The tool's pricing is affordable and based on the number of endpoints.
I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
All features in GTB are very valuable and effective. They have a fingerprint feature that is very awesome. OCR is very awesome to have too.
Also, the clients don't need to buy extra software to deploy OCR as in the case of other solutions. For example, if you want OCR in some solutions, they ask you to buy an Oracle license.
GTB Technologies Inspector supports platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux, and so forth. The most important part is that you have to buy only one agent, and all three things will be covered in the single agent.
it is almost cover each area of your endpoint and Network as well,
It's a scalable solution.
We are based in India, and we have technical support from Ukraine. Once we raise a ticket, the Ukrainians are quite quick with responding, and if the Ukrainians are busy, then we get support from the US.
The initial setup is easy, and within 30 minutes, you can deploy everything.
We have a yearly license. They offer a lot of features in a single bundle. So, if you want to remove some features from GTB, you can remove those. You don't need to buy those, and the price will reduce accordingly. I am very happy with the pricing.
Other solutions in the market have a DLP, but they don't have a data classification inbuilt industry DLP. GTB has data classification as well as the UBA (user behavior activities). Most of the clients are looking for a single solution in which they can find these solutions inbuilt in a single HA.
I would rate GTB Technologies Inspector at eight on a scale from one to ten.
It is mainly for data classification and data leakage prevention. We currently have three customers of this solution.
The main thing that I like about GTB is that it has a single agent for DLP and data classification. You can use the same agent. In terms of licensing too, it has a single license.
When it comes to data classification, it supports open-source document platforms such as ChainSoft and OpenOffice.
It would be great if they have information rights management (IRM) on the same agent.
I have been using this solution for more than two years.
It is stable.
It is scalable.
Their technical support is okay.
It has medium complexity. It is not easy but also not very complex. There are many policies to be configured.
For classification, the implementation will take somewhere around one and half months for 3,000 or 4,000 users. You would require four to five technical people for this size of implementation.
Its price is very reasonable and competitive.

The primary use case for this solution is to protect our confidential documents from being stolen from the network and endpoints
This solution has improved our organization, primarily in helping to develop my business processes, and for confidential government information.
This solution helps classify what is confidential and what is not, allowing products to be installed at home if they do not contain confidential information.
When defining responsibilities for my staff, I had to develop awareness programs for everyone.
Because this solution offers IRM (Information Rights Management), we can send any documents to other companies in the world and control what they do with them.
The most valuable feature is the Endpoint Protector. It is the most lightweight in comparison to other competitors. The more documents fingerprinted - the bigger database storage is needed. It's OK for GTB Inspector itself. On the other hand Endpoint Protector has to load this database into memory and it could slow endpoint performance in case of low memory. To avoid such impact GTB applies on endpoints additional hash algorithm for database with fingerprints to make it smaller ten times and keep detection by fingerprints with high level.
Another feature is that Endpoint Protector can stop everything, even if it's not connected to the management console.
A problem with this solution is with database security. Most data in databases with such products are not appropriate for securing data in databases.
They are very good with documents that are stored on servers, but they don't know what to do with the data in the databases, and there is a lack of functionality.
GTB has the best connectors to the database, but the product is not intended for securing databases. They concentrated only on endpoints such as notebooks, desktops, and servers, but there are no mobile endpoints in their environment.
To stay competitive, they should expand to smartphones.
It's a simple interface, but it's not a problem. GTB provides everything from one the central web console.
Another issue with this solution is, not only do you have to defend against intrusions from problems within the perimeters, you have to see what it is doing with the information from inside of your network.
Inside the network, the bandwidth is too large but still requires inspection. External channels are one gigabyte and internal channels are forty gigabytes, and this presents a problem because you have to invest in hardware where the GTB is installed if you want to see what is inside of your network.
The need to include mobile security, and DLP for mobiles. It should be like MDM, integrated with DLP, but I want it from a box, not from another developer.
This solution is fast, especially for management consoles and regular expression rules. Within minutes or less, you could see events in the management console. It is much faster than Symantec, for example.
I don't remember when we restarted this solution last, but it was most likely during the last upgrade of this version.
This solution is scalable.
To be a scalable solution, you will have to have the ability to see what is going on inside your network. To do that, you have to invest in hardware for your solution.
This solution allows you to add many models inside of your network.
In practice, this solution could be used by three or four people, but it could be covered by thousands or more.
The technical support was good, and most of the developers are from Kiev.
Previously we used Websense and Symantec.
GTB has a feature called IRM. Other DLP suites lack this feature.
This feature allows you to send documents outside of your corporation and have the ability to monitor the activities with these documents, such as, who has accessed the document, when and where the document was accessed.
You are also able to set the time of life for this document.
For our organization, this feature is a must and, GTB is the only real competitor. Other suites have to implement integration with stumbling blocks.
GTB and Forcepoint are the easiest solutions to be installed, from the DLPs used on the market.
There are many services, but they can be installed flawlessly.
Our deployment model was public and private commercial.
Before the implementation of this solution, preparation is a must. All processes have to be done, and there must be full awareness. It can be complex if you don't know the solution, because you cannot defend it, making it useless.
If you are not aware then you cannot banish intruders from the endpoint. It would be all one-sided.
Usually, such products need integrators, especially when we are talking about Symantec, but this solution can be implemented by the customer.
GTB Technologies Inspector is very good. There is no reason for us to switch from one product to another.
I would recommend using GTB because you can test it on their own and it's really simple.
This solution does not work unless you have material/business processes, without it you have nothing.
I would rate this solution a nine out of ten, as there is always room for improvement.
