What is our primary use case?
I mainly use Calendly for scheduling appointments, specifically for conference calls.
In a typical scenario where I set up a call using Calendly, I usually look at a particular company's calendar, which is what Calendly is set up for. It's their software. I just pick a date and a time and add in a note if I feel that I need to add extra information about the scheduled conference.
What is most valuable?
The best features that Calendly offers, in my opinion, would be the actual calendar itself and the usability. It's very user-friendly. You literally click on the mouse and you'll see the time slots drop and just schedule a time to meet on a specific date.
What makes the calendar and usability stand out for me compared to other tools is that the interface is just legible. It's in bold print and easy to read.
Calendly has positively impacted my organization by ensuring that most of the scheduled appointments are clear to understand, and they usually keep the appointments. The retention rate is high. It has reduced the no-shows.
What needs improvement?
I think Calendly can be improved by showing the website and a picture of the person that's actually scheduling the appointment and any websites or LinkedIn pages that they want to show. That's the main thing that I would want to see more of.
I rated it an eight because there's still some improvement that I would want to see, just a little bit more information that can be added. It doesn't seem we have adequate enough space, or it's not enough people that really use it, maybe more reviews.

How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I previously used Google Calendar for scheduling, and I switched to Calendly just because it became more popular and it was easy to schedule. It was just something new and modern that people prefer to use. It seemed easier to schedule because of the way that Calendly is set up.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment with Calendly due to fewer missed appointments overall.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing was fine. We used it free for maybe about three months, and then we paid a pretty reasonable price. I believe it was under $20 per month.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I didn't evaluate other options before choosing Calendly.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using Calendly is to give it a chance because it makes the scheduling of the appointments easier, and they would be able to have a higher turnout in their conference call scheduling. I rated this solution 8 out of 10.
