Sentiment score
7.1
Vectra AI enhances security efficiency, reduces threat response times, and offers cost-effective risk management compared to other solutions.
The solution is time-saving, particularly in the long run after it is deployed, enabling us to get value promptly.

Customer Service

Sentiment score
6.7
Securonix Next-Gen SIEM excels in customer service with high satisfaction ratings, proactive guidance, and effective issue resolution.
Sentiment score
8.2
Vectra AI's customer service is responsive, knowledgeable, and generally praised, though complex issues might experience occasional delays.
There is no UK-based support, which leads to delays in waiting for US support.
If I raise a ticket, it initially goes to the L1 team, but the next level of escalation is really effective.
When we reach out to someone, we often wait for the right person with the right skills to come and fix the solution, which is the major challenge.
When I create tickets, the response is fast, and issues are solved promptly.
The support is quite reliable depending on the service engineer assigned.

Sentiment score
8.0
Securonix Next-Gen SIEM offers efficient scalability with flexible options, resolving slowdowns swiftly for diverse operational needs.
Sentiment score
7.5
Vectra AI is scalable and flexible, easily integrating with cloud platforms, but may require planning and can be costly.
I can rate it around eight to nine, and it is very scalable and capable of handling tasks, especially for the on-premises product.
The solution is scalable as it is cloud-based and cloud-native.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.8
Securonix Next-Gen SIEM is stable with high availability, efficient log management, and high user satisfaction despite occasional issues.
Sentiment score
8.0
Vectra AI is praised for stability, requiring minimal maintenance, with efficient updates and quick issue resolution ensuring reliable performance.
The stability of Securonix Next-Gen SIEM is based on the events we are processing.

Room For Improvement

Securonix Next-Gen SIEM struggles with complex deployment, integration, usability, and needs improvements in reporting, support, pricing, and performance.
Vectra AI needs better visibility, integration, flexibility, reporting, and customization, plus improved UI, detection accuracy, and endpoint coverage.
Developing custom connectors for each product, especially the internal applications, is difficult, and Securonix Next-Gen SIEM is not up to the mark.
SIEM could have better integration with other technologies.
When dealing with a large amount of data, such as when firewall logs increase, queries sometimes crash or get stuck.
ExtraHop's ability to decrypt encrypted data is a feature that Vectra AI lacks.
You need to have a Linux server, and from the Linux server, you must perform AI tasks, and there is a lot to be handled in the back end.
Neither Vectra nor Darktrace have a function like a status health check on my log sources and traffic sources.

Setup Cost

Securonix Next-Gen SIEM offers competitive, predictable pricing based on employee count, with typical enterprise costs around $100,000 for three years.
Vectra AI's pricing varies; it's seen as costly yet competitive for quality, with complex licensing needing simplification.
Licensing is based on events per second (EPS), costing between $50 to $60 per EPS.
The pricing has similar ingestion charges compared to other solutions, such as Splunk.
Vectra is cheaper in terms of pricing and features compared to Darktrace.
It is very acceptable when you compare it with Darktrace, for example.

Valuable Features

Securonix Next-Gen SIEM offers advanced threat detection, automation, and integration, enhancing security while reducing manual tasks and response times.
Vectra AI excels in threat detection, risk management, and seamless integration, enhancing security operations with AI-driven insights.
Now, the process is automatic, reducing our workload.
The software includes user behavior interactions, dashboards, and training capabilities.
The other SIEM solutions lack an option for big data analysis, whereas in the Securonix Next-Gen SIEM, we have this option.
The main feature of Vectra AI that I find valuable is its focus on the user interface and its approximately two hundred algorithms based on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
There are extensive out-of-box detection capabilities.

Featured Reviews

Mohammed Nadeem Rais - PeerSpot reviewer
The visibility and analytics from Securonix SIEM have become indispensable in identifying and stopping potential threats before they escalate.
The most valuable feature of Securonix Next-Gen SIEM is its advance analytics, flexibility and scalability. We ingest billions of logs without worrying about resource allocation. This makes it a robust and cost-effective solution for our needs. Its user entity and behavior analytics (UEBA) are also integral for detecting insider threats and lateral movements within the organization. These features help organizations strengthen their security posture, protect sensitive data, and maintain compliance with strict regulatory requirements.

Innovative detection features enhance monitoring
The advantages of the integration are not entirely out-of-the-box. You have to do it manually. When I'm doing tier response, an out-of-the-box solution is not available. You need to have a Linux server, and from the Linux server, you must perform AI tasks, and there is a lot to be handled in the back end. This is a major consideration about them. The recall feature, if it can be placed in some areas instead of the cloud, and charged for, would be better. Recall the storage where you watch all the traffic, and you can recall it and try to analyze it in the back end. It’s cloud-based. If they offer it on-prem, it would be better. I think they have a solution, but I have never tested it, to be honest with you.
