Centralized workflows have boosted cross-team collaboration and made complex projects manageable
monday.com can continue to improve their AI capabilities. When comparing monday.com to several alternatives when I was evaluating a project and project management, product road mapping, and workflow management platform for us, I looked at competitors such as Asana, ClickUp, SmartSheet, Airtable, and Notion. In my opinion, competitors such as Airtable and SmartSheet, especially followed by Asana and ClickUp, have worked on their AI and generative AI roadmap to combine database functionality with a very user-friendly interface for knowledge management and project tracking, essentially combining both worlds. Their AI is more sophisticated than what monday.com has released thus far. They provide a cleaner task-focused workflow management platform and I think that monday.com can still improve on this core piece of their technology. I think monday.com could also seek to be more process-oriented and intuitive. Other alternatives such as Asana and SmartSheet offer that approach. There is a steeper learning curve to learn monday.com in my opinion compared to Airtable, Asana, and others because I have also used those tools and platforms at other organizations. There is a bit of a learning curve with new users on monday.com because it is not as streamlined as I have experienced with competitors such as SmartSheet or Airtable. The capability sets are great, however, you may need to be hand-held via a monday.com rep when you get started within your organization or view the library of tutorials that monday.com has available. You can also view them on YouTube and that will help you get started on monday.com.

Targeted outreach has boosted engagement and improves collaboration across the sales cycle
According to my experience, the best features Outreach offers are its helpfulness and effectiveness. It also offers a set of free trial and an intuitive, user-friendly interface. It offers sales engagement, revenue intelligence, and revenue operation functionality in a unified platform. Outreach leverages automation and artificial intelligence to help revenue leaders decrease the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of go-to-market activities and personnel across the revenue cycle. Outreach helps automate sequences and ensures consistent and timely customer engagement. I also appreciate that it provides clear analytics on opens, clicks, and replies to refine the outreach strategy. Additionally, the use of AI captures real-time meeting notes and action items, saving time and preventing missed details.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The way it allows our team to communicate with each other and keep each other up to date on many ongoing assignments at once through comments and the subitems feature is very helpful."
"What I've found the most valuable is that you can set up a project quickly and track and retract information very easily."
"Monday is extremely useful in so many ways by helping keep projects on track and organized."
"It has kept all our departments accountable and gives a quick birds-eye to see how projects are progressing."
"There are so many automations to streamline everyday tasks and reduce click counts when doing admin work. It is incredible."
"Monday helps us tremendously with this."
"Monday.com improves our work within the organization by automating our work and making it friendly and easy to use in order to achieve our goals."
"It has brought a sense of organization, structure, and clarity into the department."
"Outreach is also very cost-effective compared to Freshsales and other alternatives, and it has helped us achieve our marketing goals and reach out to more customers easily, improving my organization's productivity for the last five years."
"Outreach is very good when engaging with sponsors to understand their expectations."
"It's allowed us greater visibility into the number of touches it takes to generate a real opportunity as well as overall visibility to seller activity."
"The solution facilitates Git workflow management, enabling me to handle various pull requests from team members. Additionally, I use these tools to deploy applications to different cloud providers, such as GCP and AWS, including AWS EC2 services. The automation tools also streamline testing processes for the code submitted by other developers."
"It's allowed us greater visibility into the number of touches it takes to generate a real opportunity as well as overall visibility to seller activity. We are getting better data on what messaging works when reaching out to prospects."

Cons

"It would be ideal if Monday.com had this feature within itself, for example, if an input PDF or image was within it, then with one click the person can review it within Monday.com without going to different software."
"It would be nice to have a general section at the top of each group."
"The email log-in sensitivity would be a challenge and would lead to guests being added as members and the account getting overcharged frequently."
"Managing project status and product development may be quite difficult unless you have a project manager."
"The user communication aspect could be improved."
"I would love to be able to hide rows visibility. Currently, this is only available for columns."
"We often have problems with bugs and slow service."
"I would like to see an app version similar to Teams, or even have them integrate with Teams."
"Improvements can be made to accommodate sponsors who are not physically available in the same state. If sponsors are open to it, meetings could be conducted on an online platform to finalize deals more effectively."
"In terms of improvements, one significant area for the product is efficiency, particularly when processing large data loads. Similar to other platforms, long recording times lead to extended processing times, which can be inconvenient for users. For instance, a previous client encountered delays due to lengthy recording times. To address this, I implemented a live transcription approach where data is transcribed in real-time, immediately sent to the AI model, and returned quickly. This optimized the process, but enhancing the platform's inherent efficiency would be beneficial."
"Outreach can be improved as analytics sometimes feel quite rigid."
"Reporting at the 20,000 foot level needs to be improved."
"Reporting at the 20,000 foot level needs to be improved. I want to be able to see how many emails are opened twice vs three times vs four times."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The project manager would be responsible for any licensing fees. As an end-user, we just follow suit."
"Fees are paid monthly per user."
"It was fairly reasonable. For everything we were using it for, it was fairly reasonable."
"The price is reasonable for the number of users we have."
"I am using the tool's free version."
"Though I am unsure about the product's pricing plan, there is a need to make monthly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution, and it operates on a per-user plan."
"The solution is quite inexpensive. For example, we pay $8,500 for 75 users. It's somewhere around $100 a user, approximately."
"monday.com's pricing is fair compared to its competitors, although it is a bit more expensive than most of them. It's more expensive than Jira, Zoho, ClickUp, and Trello. But it is fairly priced when you compare the kinds of features and the capabilities that you get and the ROI."
"Outreach uses a request-based pricing model. It's pretty affordable. They offer different packages for various scenarios, depending on how you're trying to develop your platform using Outreach. I think that's a good starting point. If our organization scales up or needs more services from the tool, we'd consider upgrading."
