Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution is very good at securing files. For example, if I forward a secure document, it's blocked from others, as I can send it with restrictions in relation to who can open it.""Integration between our departments has been the most valuable.""The solution offers excellent documentation that is easily available online.""You can scale the solution up or down by department."

"The Autopilot feature is fantastic. It is a Microsoft product, so it deals best with Microsoft operating systems, but it can integrate with iOS, Mac OS, Linux, and Android.""The conditional access policies that we set up are very useful.""It works pretty well for us.""As the solution is a software as a service, the scalability is unlimited.""I like that it's very good and very simple. I found that we just needed to have a proper subscription for an Intune tenant, and from the subscription, if we have the right role assigned, like the global admin role or the owner role, we can use Microsoft cloud resources. With the help of that, we can do many things like setting up Microsoft Intune in the cloud to create our virtual machines. All these can be done, and the steps are very simple. I really liked it. I like features like Windows Auto-Enrollment. I like it very much because whenever you supply it to the end-user, it will be ready to use immediately. The end-user only needs to provide the user credentials, and then they are good to go. I also really like Cloud PC, which was recently launched on Azure.""It is a very stable and scalable cloud-only solution.""Users can make screenshots, and devices only need the minimal version of iOS.""The dashboards, the security, and the customization capabilities work very well for us."

Cons
"We did the deployment with the help of Microsoft's consultants. But sometimes, we found it difficult to educate the application developers to integrate.""The licensing is quite expensive.""The MDM part of the engine could be better.""Technical support could be improved. Sometimes they use a third party that's not so knowledgeable in the product and that can slow down things a bit."

"Reporting could be improved. It needs to be more expensive and robust.""There are a lot of small use cases where we realized that some technical solution was missing in Microsoft in comparison to other products. For example, it lacks something similar to sensing or location-based rules and configurations.""The initial setup is a little bit complex.""In the past, I raised some tickets for the enhancement feature, which was missing in Intune.""The technical support could be improved.""The solution could improve by having better integration with Apple.""Onboarding of endpoint devices is not straightforward. The onboarding process was a little heavier than I thought it would be. That's the key improvement area. Obviously, the more control you have over the devices, the better it is.""Lacking ability to leverage more iOS device management internally."
