We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
"The solution is easy to use, flexible, and customizable.""The initial setup is easy - because it stands on Microsoft offerings, it's simple and intuitive to use.""The initial setup is pretty straightforward.""Our data is much more manageable than before.""Has good integration with Power BI.""It is easy to use, and it works very well for small-scale companies.""For me, the main strengths of Microsoft Dynamics NAV are that it's user-friendly and light. These are its major wins. I have used other ERPs and their architecture were a little more complex when compared to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV architecture.""Microsoft Dynamics NAV is good for smaller-sized companies."

"Built-in business intelligence has real-time reporting features that are quite handy.""The solution is scalable and very stable. You don't need to worry about the underpinning infrastructure.""The product has good functionality.""I find the most valuable feature for the solution to be the company is always evolving by making the product better with continual updates.""ERP Cloud's most valuable features are general ledger, accounting, expense management, and procurement. These four functions are crucial.""The scalability is very good.""Oracle ERP delivers business processes.""The main component is Oracle Financial. It is one of the most comprehensive financial solutions available on the market."

"Some of the control aspects such as auditing can definitely be improved. For example, auditing is not very easy, and the user permissions are complicated.""As our company grew we had to switch from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to a solution that was suited for larger-sized companies.""The solution is not best suited for larger-scale businesses.""The UI is not particularly user-friendly and the CRM could do with some enhancements.""The initial setup of the solution was quite complex and the troubleshooting involved with that needs to be improved.""If Microsoft made some of the security setups a little easier to work with, that would be a significant improvement. The warehouse management features could also use some work. We had to buy third-party software to make NAV's warehouse management and security more usable and functional.""I wouldn't say that Microsoft Dynamics is very scalable.""Any request that had come from the website had to go through an e-form which was then plugged into Microsoft Dynamics NAV. There was no direct data capture. That was the pain point, where clients had to build e-forms, and that caused delays in transactions and getting information."

"In terms of areas for improvement, there are still a lot of other features that need to be incorporated into the future releases of Oracle ERP Cloud. We're hoping those would come soon because they're available in other ERP systems. For example, we used to have a lot of AME customizations in the BPM, but now we have a very limited scope, so it would be great if we could extend our scope. Currently, we are working with product teams to get through some of those solutions, and how we could implement them, so we have some workarounds to deal with, but we still have a long road ahead.""The stability is not as good as Informatica, but this is very good.""The solution's new analytics information, dashboard, and flexibility of reporting could be improved.""I would like to see Oracle improve the automation of data entry.""The expenses mobile app calculates different mileages than the URL version.""The interface could be improved in future releases.""The main thing Cloud ERP could improve is usability. However, it's not just an issue with Oracle. Most ERP solutions are not very user-friendly, so I think that could be the key improvement.""We have had concerns about the security and flexibility of the application. The approach with Oracle ERP Cloud should be more holistic rather than user or computer-based."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The first time we tried to buy the newest version, it was expensive."
  • "I have some subscription-based customer and a few customers who have perpetual licenses that hosted the application on the cloud."
  • "The price of the solution is reasonable."
  • "The price of the solution is reasonable."
  • "I think the pricing is the best; it's cost effective for sure."
  • "Microsoft Dynamics NAV has a pay-as-you-use payment model."
  • "NAV might be a little pricey for a small or medium-sized company, but all the solutions out there are."
  • "The cost is one of the benefits. If you don't want to go for the full-blown finance and operations, the pricing model is a lot cheaper and has now switched to being based on a per-user subscription. So, if it's on cloud, you now have an expense instead of a large CapEx. If it's on-prem, you obviously still have to continue with the licensing model that they have, but if you compare the features and functionality, in terms of the price that you pay, I find it's better than other products. My answer on the pricing would be slightly different, depending on the country you're in and the return on investment, based on the size of the company. It's well-priced internationally. I think the new model is priced even better because it's now subscription-based and, if you go for cloud, the return on investment is a lot quicker and if it's expense, you can cap it. If you do take the on-prem version, the licensing is still priced as what it used to be, so that would depend on what country you are in."
