A scalable solution with good functionalities, but customer support needs to improve
Customer support and getting help from MHR iTrent are not great at all. MHR iTrent concentrates too much on sales, like a selling mechanism. They don't concentrate on helping their existing clients get the most out of the solution. All they're interested in is selling you something else to add on.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The retrospection feature within iTrent is really good and better than what some other software provides. It's really useful."
"MHR iTrent's functionality and the payroll part are good."
"I have found UTM and the Payroll Gateway to be fairly easy to use."
"We are able to report on all HR data with ease."
"Our account manager is fantastic which makes our experience great."
"The solution has improved our organization by helping us cut hours and lessen our labor force. It saved us probably over $100,000 in just the last couple of years."
"Employees love to see their paychecks as soon as payroll has processed."
"All aspects of the employee lifecycle can be handled within the Ultipro system: Recruiting/onboarding, employment validation, payroll processing, performance plans and reviews, and salary planning."
"Hours are saved each payroll period on data entry."
"Now that we have cleaned up our data, the reports are much more accurate, and I find the reports to be great."

Cons

"Customer support and getting help from MHR iTrent are not great at all."
"MHR's customer service needs to improve. It's dreadful at the moment. They're not very customer-focused."
"From an implementation standpoint (not at my current organization), taking the time to truly listen and understand unique complexities that might be outside standard capabilities of the system."
"Ultipro does not have preconfigured integrations with our external vendors for our health insurance, 401(k), or stock program to name a few."
"Inactivates DD when employees leave for a short period."
"Customer service is 5/10. Technical support is 5/10."
"I would like to see more options for automating 401k feeds/imports."
"Customer service is poor; unless we are being the squeaky wheel, we haven't gotten the best service."
"Having no person on site to help us through integration was a big negative."
"Every now and then, I have some issues with stability using Report Studio. I get some odd errors at times that cause the system to become unusable, and I have to close out without saving my changes."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
