Great reporting and customizations with good reliability
A lot of the improvement is not so much the product as it is how it's deployed; it's about mapping against what you need to improve your processes, whether it's the Kofax kind of shows in the IDP. You've got process orchestration, extraction and robotic process automation, process orchestration, and then mobile. Tracking what you need out of those, either all five together or one of those separated out, is usually what's more critical. They do add capabilities to the tool. However, from our perspective as a consulting organization, the real key is whether you are getting the data you need to improve your process or if your reporting is not providing you with the desired information you need to improve your processes. If there's any negative, it's just the different names, the branding names that the product's gone through. It's confusing.

A stable solution with a comparison feature that helps people to understand and visualize the impact of a particular task
UiPath Process Mining is as lightweight a tool as it is new. It's not able to handle a lot of logs in one go at high speed. The solution's speed is fairly good, but it should be further increased to make it more powerful to process large amounts of logs. Logs should be as much as possible. We have taken one year's and sometimes two years' logs to understand the behavior. We are not here solving small problems because a lot of money is invested. I have observed that handling a large amount of logs slows down the solution's performance. This area is improving because we are now observing a new version of UiPath Process Mining with improved speed. As a developer, I'll be happy to see that happening more quickly, and I am sure the solution is heading there.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The initial setup is straightforward."
"It provides the ability to design applications directly."
"You can easily customize reporting to pull the fields that interest you."
"The product was highly stable, and the data flow was very smooth."
"It proves beneficial for comparing our initial documentation, outlining steps like purchase requisitions, approvals, and process diagrams, with the actual occurrences in the SAP system."
"It provides the visualization, the PI data, and all other information."
"The most valuable feature is the capture process. That is really good because it helps you to understand how your process steps work and what you can do to improve them. It helps to make it more visibility and tangibility into what you are doing in terms of the processes."
"It empowers employee decision-making. It helps them locate bottlenecks and remediate items."
"The most valuable features of UiPath Process Mining are ease to use, the graphical user interface is good, and the level of detail it will bring on the board is beneficial. We will be able to visualize a wide variety of users, what are the bottlenecks, and where it's taking a long time to process."
"If the end user is happy, it means I am happy."
"UiPath Process Mining has a good roadmap ahead for the future."

Cons

"If there's any negative, it's just the different names, the branding names that the product's gone through. It's confusing."
"The initial setup is complex and would be difficult to carry out without any training."
"It would be ideal if there were some standard forms that could be customized."
"I would like to see better integration with the Azure and AWS machine learning platforms."
"The tool could be improved by making integration simpler with most applications."
"One area for improvement is the integration with legacy systems, which can be challenging, especially with older and in-house developed systems that lack good event logs."
"In terms of what can be improved, what I've seen so far in most of the implementations is that the client's expectations towards the RPA solution and their road map for the solution are different. The road map should be very clear in terms of what should be done and why it has to be done."
"It would be beneficial to improve the cost since it is quite expensive."
"I rate the setup cost as four to five. It is a high price for a low rating."
"I used to be a trainer and an instructional designer. I think the training has to be more specific — it's a little scattered."
"It's quite an expensive solution."

"The product is affordable. It depends on if you are looking for some capabilities from time to time."
