We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Most of the features are similar to what other tools have, but the UIs are quite user friendly. A beginner could use it."

More Ivanti Neurons for RBVM Pros →

"It basically reviews our threat landscape vulnerability.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the vulnerability assessment.""This product has the best results in terms of the lowest number of false-positives and false-negatives.""The most valuable feature of the product is the Assurance Report Card, which gives us an overview of the security poster in just a simple glance.""The scans are the most valuable aspect of this solution.""The feature we've liked most recently was being able to take the YARA rules from FireEye and put them into Tenable's scan for the most recent SolarWinds exploit. That was really useful.""The solution is very intuitive and the dashboards are simple to use.""The solution is one of the most, if not the most, stable product available."

More Tenable Security Center Pros →

Cons
"I would also like to see more integrations, plugins, and user-friendly automation, similar to the multiple integration scripts that Rapid7 has."

More Ivanti Neurons for RBVM Cons →

"Tenable SC can improve by making it easier to create complicated reports and have more effectiveness in the remediation area for comparison between the scans.""The reporting side can be improved. The dashboards are nice, but exporting things out for reports for management was a little tough.""Tenable has some problems with agents going offline during scanning and lag between agents and the security center.""The biggest issue I have with the solution is when I'm using the scanning it picks up the original DNS of that device. That means, before we image it and actually change the DNS to something within our company structure, it'll just be random numbers and letters and Tenable will stick to that DNS for a long time.""The reporting needs a lot of work on the template.""The pricing is reasonable, but this could be brought down more aggressively, such as we see with Rapid7, Tenable SC's main competitor.""The solution needs to improve its support. I would like to see a bird's eye view of my network architecture. I would also like to see the continuous view feature in the tool.""The solution should include compliance-based scanning."

  • "The pricing is more than Nexpose."
  • "Costing is pretty reasonable compared to the competition."
  • "We're a Fortune 500 company... our licensing costs [are] in the seven figures."
  • "We pay around 60,000 on a yearly basis."
  • "The price can start at €10,000 ($13,000 USD) for between 500 and 1,000 assets, and the price can climb into the millions as more assets are added."
