Streamlines daily data workflows and has improved reliability for complex business integrations
One area where Integrate.io Platform could improve is around visibility and debugging. While the logging is helpful, it can sometimes take time to trace issues across multiple steps in a pipeline, especially when flows become complex. A more streamlined way to track data through each stage or clearer error messaging would make troubleshooting faster and more intuitive. Another improvement would be flexibility in handling edge cases. For standard transformations, it works well, but when business logic gets more complex, it can feel a bit limited without introducing workarounds. Having more advanced customization options without sacrificing the ease of use would be a big plus, in my opinion. Documentation clarity around existing pipelines was also something I felt could be better supported. Since integrations tend to evolve over time, having strong built-in documentation features or easier ways to understand dependencies between jobs would have helped, especially when onboarding someone new. I only stayed with this client for six months, so we needed to bring or train their team members to do this. Revisiting flows after a while would have been nice. The last thing would be performance transparency could be improved. Jobs generally run reliably, but having clearer insights into performance, such as bottlenecks, processing time per step, or optimizing suggestions would make it easier to fine-tune workflows as data volume grows. Part of my job, and what the client in this case wanted, was to scale in the future without having to change to another tool, so that would help a lot. I would say the platform is solid, but these kinds of improvements that I mentioned would make it even more efficient to manage at scale and over time.

Automation expertise grows and enhances global collaboration
The most valuable aspect is the ability to integrate with over 20,000 applications, which is a superior feature compared to Make.com that has limited applications access. I use multi-step automation workflows in my tasks, which increases productivity and efficiency. The features such as if-else conditions allow for different branches in automation, making the automation more productive. I utilized conditional logic, text parsing, and formatting. My experience with these advanced features has been excellent. For instance, I once pushed data from Zapier to GoHighLevel while checking the date, and based on that date, I created automation in GoHighLevel that involved various branches, effectively creating a loop. Remote access to Zapier's automated workflows and cloud integration is beneficial. I use cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox within Zapier. The remote capabilities are advantageous, allowing us to provide services from Pakistan for businesses based in the USA, reducing company expenses when hiring employees from the USA. The ability to work remotely globally through Zapier is a significant opportunity.

Cons

"Customer support could be better. We often get replies that are delayed, and sometimes there is a lot of back and forth."
"Another improvement would be flexibility in handling edge cases. For standard transformations, it works well, but when business logic gets more complex, it can feel a bit limited without introducing workarounds."
"If the scenario or automation is complex, it becomes difficult to create and deploy because of various routes. For example, with 20 routes, it becomes really difficult to create them due to certain limits, and the UI is not conducive for viewing all the routes."
"Some recent changes to the solution have made it bulky and not as intuitive to use as it previously was."
"To make it a complete BPM solution, the UI component needs significant enhancement."
"My biggest concern with Zapier would be their pricing strategy."
"In terms of scalability, we have found that we need to create multiple redundant Zaps in order to compensate for logic."
"The only frustrating thing was the support. Most applications have a chat or call center function for support."
"The user interface for Zapier could be improved."
"Zapier needs to improve in the same way most RPA solutions should, such as Robocorp, Make, or UiPath. They are not good at helping you find the connections that you need for the problem that you have. For example, if need something on Instagram. I'm going to have to do research for hours to be able to find the components or the app, which is going to do what I need it to do. It makes it difficult to use the system when you don't know what to use."

"There is a free plan that is, of course, limited. However, it allows you to understand and check true scenarios for a while."
"Think your Zaps through to make sure you don't use more Zaps than you need."
"Zapier's price is good."
"Per task, there is a monthly plan involving 15 euros...Also, in different forms, they just give you the ability to use different features. They charge 18.58 euros for the first standard plan, which includes 750 tasks. So, it is about 25 cents per task."
