Efficient load balancing and the clustering, achieved by using the deployment manager, is valuable
I believe that the system is already good. However, for improvement or enhancement, it is user-friendly, but it could offer better choices on the front end for different aspects or options. Sometimes, I have to search extensively for features, as there are no upfront tabs. There is a lack of visible, easy, user-friendly, and straightforward options for the number of features.

Intuitive, easier to develop, maintain, and migrate from the old framework to newer versions
There are a few areas where they could compete better with products like React or Angular – the popular SPA (Single Page Application) frameworks. Microsoft has its own product called Blazor, but I don't think it's quite as powerful yet as React or Angular. I think that's an area for improvement. For example, HR asked me to build something that worked offline and online. Microsoft products don't really support that well, as I'd have to rely on browser databases. React and Angular are better for that. If I need something faster, I'd definitely use React. So, I see Microsoft lagging a bit in that area.

Quick installation and very easy to manage while doing orchestration or automation
NGINX cannot be a replacement for your traditional load balancer with what we use in the network today. However, with applications going toward microservices, NGINX is definitely a way forward. F5 has many traditional load balancing features, so they still need to bring some of those features to NGINX. NGINX is a very basic load balancer and cannot do as many customizations as F5. I think F5 is trying to implement those features in NGINX so they can improve the balancing on NGINX, but I think that will take some time. With the traditional F5 set up, the same OS can do load balancing, firewalls, and even policy enforcement. If we are able to bring some of those capabilities to NGINX, I think it would become a versatile solution and usage would definitely increase.

Cons

"IBM WebSphere Application Server hasn't changed much. It's still a heavyweight for any company compared to what you get. Unless your code base is deeply linked with it, I don't think it's a great idea to go with this solution. The current trend is toward modularity and containerization, and given the product's requirements, containerization will be difficult. There is a memory requirement as well."
"Based on the field and based on the build that was provided, we've noticed a lot of constraints in terms of the performance now."
"WebSphere is very cumbersome and not user-friendly."
"In the next release of this solution, I would like to see support for the Arabic language."
"Sometimes, I feel WebSphere runs a bit slow. It might be loading unnecessary libraries, impacting its performance compared to other application servers."
"When we run into memory or locking issues, we resort to using third-party tools. However, it would be preferable to have native tools for debugging this type of problem."
"What could be improved in IBM WebSphere Application Server is its interconnection with other products, for example, Kafka. What I'd like to see in the next release of the solution is a better graphical user interface."
"While WebSphere mostly supports IBM HTTP Server (IHS) as the web server plugin, I think it would be beneficial if it also supported Apache and NGINX web servers. That would give customers more flexibility in their choices."
"The .NET open source community could be larger."
"Better integration with other tools to make the operation faster would be an improvement."
"Needs stronger security with respect to cloud issues."
"There are performance constraints when multiple users are accessing the application and that consumes CPU resources."
"Improvements are needed in .NET development, particularly in a backend scenario."
"I would like to see a better response time from the technical support."
"Difficult to scale this product for large organizations."
"I would like more web integration."
"The scalability could be improved."
"Our most challenging part was to run an older PHP website reverse-proxied through NGINX. That was not fun."
"Initially, I experienced hiccups whenever I installed the application."
"The scaling should be built into the software rather than configured from an outside source."
"I would like the configuration process to be more simplified."
"The center management system could be improved."
"I would suggest adding GUI-based configuration panels to NGINX Plus to simplify setup and management tasks."
"The solution's GUI is an area with certain shortcomings that need improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We used to pay about $100,000-$120,000 US or somewhere around there. That was a bit cost-prohibitive for us to continue."
"The price of this product is higher than that of competitors."
"It is very expensive."
"IBM WAS base is part of the deal when you purchase IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine."
"It's expensive."
"When you purchase Maximo, you get WebSphere for free."
"There is an Eclipse Plugin provided by IBM, so no need to buy IBM Rational Application Developer or Rational Software Architect tools."
"The licensing cost is 1,000 of euros for a 30-year table."
"The pricing could be cheaper."
"The product is not expensive."
"The Microsoft .NET Framework is free of charge, without licensing cost."
"Microsoft .NET Framework is very cost-effective for corporate users."
"The solution is free but you need to pay for a license for the hosting service."

"The cost is reasonable."
"Nginx is free. I don't have experience with the Plus version."
"NGINX Plus is worth it, if you need it. If you do not need the features or support, the free and open source package is more than capable. "
"I am not so happy with their pricing policy, but this is not the worse thing in my life. I can tolerate it."
