Great user interface and easy to implement
I like the corporate looking user interface for the audience and very straight forward log-in process too. The user interface of other solutions such as GoToWebinar can be confusing for a less tech-savvy audience. IBM has thoroughly thought through everything and the flexibility to integrate the API to expand the registration gateway allows us to have an extra layer of security. Furthermore, the brand IBM is reputable in the market for its data and network security.

Reliable remote access has improved secure collaboration and streamlined daily approvals
The best features TeamViewer Business offers in my opinion are collaboration, templates, a high level of security, and session recording. Collaboration allows me to collaborate remotely with my team members. Besides reconnecting automatically, it provides a high level of security, protecting from cyber attacks and aids in providing assurance in regulated environments through two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption features. It also allows recording live sessions, which can be replayed as needed for future reference. TeamViewer Business has positively impacted my organization as collaboration has enhanced, especially remote collaboration by 60 to 70 percent. I have been able to collaborate with clients and other team members seamlessly. Enhanced workflow efficiency includes faster approvals and a lowered risk of data loss, misuse, and leak through robust features like two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption. It also facilitates compliance using documentation and auditing through recordings and logs.

Pros

"IBM as a brand has helped us to get through any hurdle with the client's IT and legal queries, helped us to speed up the security vetting process."
"I like the user interface. There aren't too many buttons that the audience will have to fiddle with."
"The new two-factor authentication is a very good addition to security."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is the ability to remote control a computer system. Overall it is a complete solution."
"I use this almost daily to log into users computers across the nation, enabling me to troubleshoot issues much quicker than trying to talk someone else through things and allowing for nearly instantaneous troubleshooting."
"I have been satisfied with TeamViewer overall."
"It's very easy to set up."
"I have found the solution to be user-friendly even for beginners. It is not that sophisticated. There are different types of security features available, such as encryption and random machine ID."
"I use TeamViewer to connect to other workstations, Mac, or PC without a VPN connection."
"The dashboards they have are good."

Cons

"They should improve the registration gateway. Currently, you can't do a pre-event registration that's straightforward."
"They should improve the registration gateway. Currently, you can't do a pre-event registration that's straightforward. You have to do an API to integrate. It would be a lot easier if they had that."
"TeamViewer can improve connectivity. I had some problems connecting to my clients and now I use AnyDesk."
"I didn't like the fact that you had to install a client for remote support. If you didn't install the client, you were very limited in terms of what you could do. For a whole enterprise, it is just not an easy task to install a client on everything. Even if you're using SCCM, it is an undertaking. For transient clients that you don't necessarily support a hundred percent of the time, it would be nice to be able to connect to them and support their issues without having to install something on their machines. In my previous company, we were looking at this solution as being a collaborative tool for the enterprise in terms of video conferencing, calling, and scheduling. They were working on bringing a bunch of products together to make their suite a little more integrated, but it really wasn't at the point where we wanted it to be in terms of integration. We looked at it, reviewed it, and tested it out a bit. We then decided to go with Microsoft Teams. It has the clunkiness of having separate modules that aren't totally integrated. There are different methods for doing different things, which makes it a little bit more complicated. There should be the same way whether you are doing remote support or just calls."
"On occasion, when remote connection process can't connect to a machine, the error messages aren't always helpful to tell you why you can't connect, as the message doesn't help troubleshoot whether it is too slow, too much interference, etc."
"One thing that would really help with TeamViewer Business is if they were able to provide an easier way to deploy TeamViewer Business on all devices using group policy, as the current solution is quite clunky and very technical to set up; I have struggled and spent many days trying to get TeamViewer Business pushed out via group policy, and it has never worked as we would prefer, so we end up doing it manually, which is a drain on resources."
"Oftentimes, the session window blocks view of the system tray. I’d like to be able to minimize it or move it."
"TeamViewer could improve by having a cloud version. Having the solution on the system could cause some cyber security concerns with data."
"You can't configure multiple, unattended control passwords on the Mac. On the Mac, there's only one. On Windows, there are multiple unattended control passwords. I have people in different departments. My infrastructure people need to control a server and my developers may need to go into that same server. But I don't want them to have the same password... on the Mac, it can be done but it's extremely clunky and problematic."
"Support for mobile devices from Linux has been missing since the Native client was rolled out."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The cost is in the thousands of dollars per year."
"The cost of the licenses depends on how you buy them. They just had a buy one get one free deal going, and they do that every once in a while. Where you buy one license, and they will give you the second one free, or you can try to get discounts. Most of our licenses that we have we tried to do something like that just to save some money."
"TeamViewer offers a free version to try. Download and give it a shot. See what it's like and if you like it, then buy the license for it."
"We have an annual subscription that is just under $1,900 with no additional costs. We get these promotions about upgrades and stuff like that, but we haven't had a need to add more seats. Users can also use TeamViewer for home use with a non-commercial free license."
"TeamViewer has multiple licensing options."
"We are using the free version of TeamViewer."
"We are using the standard free version of TeamViewer."
"We use the free version of TeamViewer."
