Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Has algorithms that can detect a document template even if the image has a lot of distortions.""What I liked more about HyperScience was the quality of the OCR it is a lot better compared to Google.""I like that compared to other tools, HyperScience works best with handwritten documents.""It provides the best accuracy for handwritten forms, which is a struggle in the industry. You can take processes with a lot of manual work and streamline them through this tool.""One of the most valuable features of HyperScience is the user-training module. Whenever the extraction takes place, based on the way we have trained HyperScience, it would give us some success status or a certain confidence level. If the solution has processed something that it determined was not extracted correctly it will queue those items for manual review.""We have seen pretty good accuracy.""Valuable features include tools like IQ Bot and the ability to extract handwritten documents with 93-95 per cent accuracy."

"Pega Robotics offers all the required features to build end-to-end process automation like any other similar tools. It's unique development style using data line and control flow line makes it easy to debug through the flow.""The workflow system is very intuitive.""The solution's automation handling capability has positively impacted the overall automation process in my experience.""Pega is also broadening its landscape by building on top of PRPC (CRM, EPC, etc.), and with a cloud offering available, it is a genuine contender to compete with Salesforce.""Pega Robotic Process Automation's most valuable feature is that it is robust. Additionally, they have plenty of online documents that are good and Pega Academy is helpful, they are doing a great job. They give training on practical use cases. They take domain use cases, and they are great.""The most valuable aspect for myself was access to the .net framework. If I couldn't figure something out using the objects that they had provided, I could bring in the .net objects and do so using similar logic that I would in a .net or C sharp coding language. Having that familiarity was helpful.""The most valuable features are the loops to lookup tables to read the data.""The feature I like best in Pega Robotic Process Automation is that I'm able to add external DLL section codes. I can inject the JavaScript, and I can write VB.NET, C#.NET, and DLL codes, then inject those codes into the existing process. Mainly, from a development perspective, I like that feature a lot, so if anything is not supported by Pega Robotic Process Automation, then I can build that either in JavaScript or in .NET, then use those functions within the IP."

Cons
"Extracting tables from certain documents could be improved.""The product's usability could be better. The first pain point is that we're getting the output in a different format, and we were expecting a different timetable. The second point is that if you want better results, HyperScience says you have to configure a minimal PDF or a maximum of 400 PDFs. If you want results with 400 PDFs for what's written by these doctors, then you also configure the maximum of 400 templates for that. So, it's essentially a lack of support from HyperScience. In the next release, it would be better if failure scenarios were reduced. It would also help if they offered different formats, inputs or injections, and added different scenarios.""No solution is perfect and there are several different scenarios that could be improved in HyperScience. One area is where there are multiple tables in the same form I have seen HyperScience struggle. There is some issue with supporting the extraction from multiple tables involved on the same form. If this could improve, it would be a big benefit.""The solution lacks support for a greater range of languages.""HyperScience could improve the unstructured data extraction feature.""HyperScience has less capability while working on unstructured forms. Unstructured forms are those where there is no standard structure and the information can be anywhere on the form. They need to develop this capability.""They could work on the price and make it a bit more reasonable."

"The new players such as UiPath and ABBYY are moving very quickly, but Pega is not. I'd definitely like to see Pega doing a few more interesting things on the AI or machine learning front so that we can use the platform for multiple things.""I have faced many scenarios in the business workflow, where a few applications run on the Citrix environment. That could be a critical part of the process without which business won't be able to accept the automation solution. Because of one small bottleneck, you will lose a very good candidate for process automation.""You cannot use a two-dimensional array to read the data.""They have tied the deployment with the Pega BPM product, the robot manager. You need to have the BPM installed.""Rule versioning and deployment to enable parallel development could still be improved""Pega has a no-code low-code environment. We do everything based on established rules. You kind-of have to learn how all their rules work and how it works for robotics before you can use the solution effectively.""There have been some scenarios where the bot was not able to replace some of the controls and could not recognize and personalize the task we wanted to automate.""It's difficult not knowing when alerts will arrive."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I think HyperScience is cheaper when compared to other tools. They also have a lifetime licensing option."
  • "I don't have any idea about the licensing costs, but I know that there was a per-page charge. They had different models of pricing. One of them was based on the minimum number of pages, and we had a fixed price. So, the price model depends on the volume that is coming through HyperScience."
  • More HyperScience Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "I was not involved in licensing and pricing, but it is worth the cost."
  • "Pega is pretty costly."
  • "Pega Robotic Process Automation is an expensive solution."
  • "In terms of Pega Robotic Process Automation pricing, I would rate it a five out of five because the solution has a good price. Pricing is not very high, though I'm unsure of the exact cost, based on my experience, the price for Pega Robotic Process Automation is less than Blue Prism because I worked with a few clients that have both solutions and my clients prefer Pega Robotic Process Automation over Blue Prism particularly because of the licensing costs."
  • "Pega is as competitive as the basic players such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere. UiPath is the most expensive, but Pega is at par with Automation Anywhere."
  • "I would rate the product's pricing a nine out of ten."
  • "The licensing cost is too high."

    Overview

HyperScience is a cloud-based input-to-output platform that automates document-based workflows and extracts data for analysis from both physical and digital documents.

The HyperScience platform simply integrates with your current business systems thanks to an open API, an intuitive UI, and pre-trained models, resulting in a totally automated digital workflow.

The classic scanning paradigm has been reimagined by HyperScience; it has replaced the need for human verification with intelligent technology that learns as it goes. The solution automates previously manual operations using a simple model-based solution or from the ground up, saving time and resources that can be redirected to more strategic efforts. The platform has a minimum accuracy of 75% when it is first installed, but it can exceed 99% accuracy in a matter of weeks.

With out-of-the-box and customizable tasks, workflows, and connectors, the solution automatically connects into your document workflows. HyperScience, which is powered by industry-leading machine learning, makes it simple to get from input to actionable data.

    HyperScience Benefits

There are many benefits to implementing HyperScience. Some of the biggest advantages the solution offers include:

    • Automation: With automation, users can save 89% of the time they would have spent doing things the old way. Businesses are able to save money in this way.
    • Risk mitigation: The number of human errors can decrease by 67%. Users can benefit from straight-through processing at 94% with 99% data accuracy.

    • Human supervision: HyperScience equips humans with a streamlined task queue and easy-to-use interface designed to empower your teams, not slow them down.

    Reviews from Real Users

HyperScience stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its robust user-training module and its accuracy with handwritten documents. PeerSpot users take note of the advantages of these features in their reviews:

One PeerSpot reviewer, a Lead Analyst at a financial services firm, writes, “One of the most valuable features of HyperScience is the user-training module. Whenever the extraction takes place, based on the way we have trained HyperScience, it would give us some success status or a certain confidence level. If the solution has processed something that it determined was not extracted correctly it will queue those items for manual review.”

Yogesh S., OCR Developer at a tech vendor, notes of the solution, “I like that compared to other tools, HyperScience works best with handwritten documents.” He adds, “We're automating invoices and some handwritten filled-out documents. We can automate with accuracy, and even though we used HyperScience initially for selling purposes and as a comparison tool, we're now getting these results with HyperScience.”

With Pega Robotic Process Automation (RPA), organizations can automate the mundane, tedious, time-consuming, manual work that is hampering productivity and efficiency. Whether adjudicating claims, onboarding customers or employees, reconciling financials, updating customer information in systems record, Pega RPA can manage the work across your enterprise.
