Its overall security is valuable. We are very impressed with the web filtering and the application firewall it provides.""FortiClient's most valuable features are that it's fast and safe.""It is very simple to use. More Netgate TNSR Cons →

"Working with Distribution sometimes comes at a cost due to a lack of knowledge of the current status of your licensing and products.""FortiClient's encryption key could be stronger so that it's not broken too easily.""The filtering process could be improved.""It would be interesting if the solution offered a way to try to investigate and create a use case to trace vectors.""While we like patch management, it would be nice if it could handle patch management for other solutions, like Microsoft.""There should be more frequent releases or updates.""With Fortinet, some clients have to wait two to four days for a response. That is the biggest complaint from end customer about Fortinet's technical support.""We've got one client where it was blocking the smartphones, and there's a way to set it up on Fortigate that's supposed to do that. However, it didn't work with them since they had a 2FA multi-factor."

Hence, the tool should work on its reporting feature.""SSL VPN license cost is not cheap.""The tool needs to improve its price.""Support from Hillstone E-Series has a shortcoming that needs improvement.""Having frequent live webinars on a monthly basis would really help.""The current usage reporting is very basic."

Information Not Available
  • "The solution is more cost efficient than Cisco, as FortiGate tends not to charge for the client license, which allows one to make free use of whatever is supported on the device."
  • "It is not that expensive. It was within the range. A dollar per user per month is nothing."
  • "I don't know it by heart, but it is comparable to other solutions. It is based on the number of clients. It is probably 50 Euros per year per client. It greatly depends on the number of clients you're handling because the more clients you are ordering it for, the cheaper it will be."
  • "The fee includes access to all of the features."
  • "The solution is not expensive. We need more discounted rates in Pakistan. The price of the solution could be reduced to be more affordable for the solution."
  • "As a technical team member, I am not responsible to look into the pricing matters. These aspects are typically handled by the management team, who have the authority to obtain the necessary licenses based on certain established principles."
  • "The product's licensing is yearly and expensive."
  • More Fortinet FortiClient Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The cost per year for licensing, and hardware, is approximately $850 for the basic plan."
